I believe that most of us agree with you. I was ten when it came out. Didn't care much about this song. Loved rock and metal songs there but rap and hip-hop went past me. Metalhead by heart and raised by one. But now when I'm 30 i come back to those good ol' days and just literally go back 20 years in time whenever I close my eyes and tune my precious supra MK4.

This song, every few words is censored.
Half of LAX is censored, too. (They muted out 'gun', ffs)

Next to midnight club, this game had the best soundtrack mid of rock, techno, and hip hop. Too bad games don't diversify their soundtracks anymore. What a shame.
While I agree with you, the Rap was probably their best.
The soundtrack is part of the things that made this game so good and popular. Nowadays these "advanced graphics" and shitty customization plus the stupid game modes make the 2012+ NFSs hated. I don't think that the new NFS will solve any of these problems. Time has changed.

The reason I play GTA 5 is to compensate for the non-existent NSFU3. The customization on GTA 5 isn't too bad although it's missing some stuff like stickers etc.
