Thank you for clarifying that. When i started, I made syndet bars (because that was what I found first), but then I found them to be expensive. So I looked into it some more and discovered the difference bet syndets and soap-based shampoo bars. I decided to stick to making syndets even if they are expensive. I don't think the soap-based are really good on the hair even with all the oils in it.
ive been trying to learn by watching youtube videos on shampoo bars since 3 days and hands down your video IS THE BEST. Love how you mention every small detail and teach so well. THANK YOU for giving us the clarity all at once ! also you’re absolutely beautiful 💗
Thanks for sharing this syndet bar recipe, it looks great. Would you say you could press it into a more complex mould when it gets a bit thick, to make it have a pretty pattern or shape?
Thanks, I tried the results, was superb. Please can you do the liquid shampoo tutorial 🤗
Will do soon, thank you
Very nice shampoo bar, loved it.
Thank you 😊
What kind/type of hair is this shampoo bar for?
Cutting a silicone matte is brilliant idea.
Thanks!
How to a darkening Hair shampoo bar
I'm excited to try this. Can sodium lactate be omitted or substituted with anything else?
Try leaving it out, you should still get a nice solid bar. If it is too dry add a little carrier oil.
@@SummerRainDIY thanks for the advice! I thought I ordered it but definitely forgot 😅.
I do that ALL THE TIME! I will order everything I need and I always seem to forget something.

Glad I could help! I personally love using surfactants, they clean very well.

Wow, thank you!
Thanks for explaining all the info behind each of the ingredients!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for the tutorial. I don’t know why, but when you poured the surfactants, I started holding my breath! 😂
Oh no! I think we have all been there and forgot to wear a mask.
what is the total active surfactant matter do you usually go by when making shampoo bar?
A shampoo bar is going to have a high active surfactant matter as it is concentrated.
Wonderful tutorial! Thank you. Just ordered everything. Where'd you get your mold?
I got it from amazon amzn.to/3ObA4B3
sodium laurel sulfate I would not use
This recipe actually uses Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (SLSa)
thanks summerrain
