Songs by Matt Monroe remind me of my beloved baby brother, TOTO, who passed away recently October 5th who had down syndrome at age 55 who loved to sing & dance. Sweetest little guy, I love so much & I'm still not over his passing...maybe I never will! Rest in peace my baby brother! 🙏🙏🙏

I think I am the same. I turned 14 a day after Matt Monro passed away. I had fallen in love with his voice when I heard it on From Russia with Love that I had watched when I was 12 or 13, I immediately went to look for his albums. Just like I fell in love with Nat King Cole's voice the first time I heard him on radio. I asked my mom who he was. I went out a bought tapes of his songs to play on my treasured Sony tape player. This was before CDs came out.
