Seems like a cool bike and overall I like the looks but it appeared to be doing 4500 rpm in 6th at 58 mph, which seems like that'd make it way too buzzy and thirsty at highway speeds. My Guzzi V7 850 Stone, which could be considered a competitor to this bike, is doing 78 at that engine speed. And it's Italian designed and Italian made for not that much more money. With the Benelli, I'd worry if I made a comment that was critical of it, it would transmit my location and in two shakes a Chinese drone would make me a steaming puddle on the road ;).

Great looking bike, that - 'though why they call it an 800 when (at 754cc) it's a lot closer to a 750 is baffling to me. I agree with a small fairing/screen and a tail treatment are needed, but still, this is a great looking bike.
Yes I’m not sure why they call it an 800 either! It’s like my Z900 - it has a 950 engine!! I think it’s something to do with previous models and reusing the name
