The logo for the zoo is very smart. It can be read Bellemont Zoo by english speakers, and Zoo Bellemont by speakers of French and other languages, so that you didn't have to pin an exact country to the zoo, and so that even if it is in France, you can still call it Bellemont zoo and no one can argue with you becuase the logo says otherwise.
I'm glad someone noticed 😁 The zoo is essentially set in France, Austria, Germany, Switzerland etc. That part of Europe but I don't want to be too specific. Most of the signage in the big zoos in Europe is in English anyway which helps due to the number of tourists that visit
Polygon language = Number Prefix + Polygon identifier. (i.e. 7 = Sept+ agon; 6 = Hexagon). This has been a rando math announcement for your annoyance or education (depends on your perspective). Man, you make entrances look so easy to build! I always struggle to get the entrance going and then the zoo never happens.
Hah thanks for the lesson! This entrance was not easy, in between the bit where I built the white plaster curve and the start of the final entrance was an entire day of building something that looked like a 1960s car park that I deleted 😆
Really gorgeous entrance! The frogs by the ticket booth is a nice touch, too. I always loved when you get to see glimpses of the animals before even getting into the zoo, it really helps building up excitement.
Thank you for your great content! As someone living in Vienna it always makes me proud when someone mentions our beautiful zoo. Schönbrunn Zoo in Vienna was originally founded 1452 and is the oldest zoo in the world. In 1552 the first elephant moved in but was living not in todays zoo. Until 1752 the official founding date the emperors constantly bought more lands around the original first habitats until the zoo redhead today’s size. I personally think that the entrance is pretty imperial, since it is also part of the palace of Schönbrunn. Until 1778 the zoo was not open for the public. After that the zoo was available on Sunday only for decent dressed persons. 😉 During the bombardment of Vienna most of the zoo was destroyed and about 1000 animals died. The British and Russian administration helped build up the zoo again. Today our zoo is well known for its breeding programs and we are also one of the few zoos that are allowed to house the Gigant Panda and also had several Panda litters. Greetings from Vienna!
Every time I think your entrances can't get any more grand, you prove me wrong! Loved seeing all of the signage work in this episode. Also: a six-sided shape is a hexagon ;)
Masterful, as always! I love the bronze wall with the animal statues. I’ve noticed that you’re always very intentional and thoughtful about what styles of architecture you use. It really helps tell the stories of your zoos! I love to see it
I see a great ape sign! This might mean we’ll get orangutans! This makes me happy not only because orangutans are my favorite animal but also because your orangutan build in San Bernadino was how I discovered your channel I’m looking forward to the future of this zoo and what masterpieces you’ll come up with in this project I am truly grateful to witness the birth of this new series and I will be sure to never miss an episode!
@@ZSHplays I live nearby Leipzig, so I'm very familiar with the tree and advertising pillar in front of the Zoo entrance. Plus there was one frame where I saw a building made out of wooden logs when looking through the entrance into the city, which reminded me of Leipzig's car park for the Zoo :D
This zoo is going to look so good, the entrance alone is beautiful. I cant wait to see where it goes! Also if you haven't already I would love to see a video explaining how you plan out your zoo! I struggle planning the layout.
Top notch work! I’ll be honest, after the wrapping of San Bernardino, I was worried we’d never reach the highs that zoo brought, but I can already tell that we are in for a treat with this zoo. Excited to see what the future holds for Bellemont Zoo!!
Once again another fantastic build! Can’t wait for the series. Interestingly, in our city they actually rebranded the zoo “ZooTampa” from its original name, Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo. It just seems so much more modern.
I love this new zoo! I really enjoy how you're pushing for a more older look on the entrance. You should look into the Lisbon Zoo(Portugal), the entrance of your zoo has a very similar feel. It is also a city zoo which could serve as inspiration. Keep up with the great work, love your videos👏👍
The entrance looks awesome , I love how you did the sign on the front, it looks really neat and simple. One section with this zoo I’d love to see since the leopard is coming in the new update , is an African Congo section where the leopard or gorillas are the newer updated habitats but then the bonobos and chimps are in a more classic primate house look.
@@ZSHplaysfair enough maybe you could make the leopard live in a renovated primate house where the outside looks very classical but the interior is more modern, but I can’t wait to see what you do
Just by going off of this entrance and the penguin enclosure, this zoo has already inspired me to create my own European city zoo, however I will be doing it at the same time as my Congo zoo, which won’t be complete until the addition of the African leopard as the main carnivore attraction.
not sure if this has been commented before but I would love if you would include pictures of your references when you bring them up in the videos just so viewers who haven’t seen/heard of them before can know what you mean! Love the content as always, excited to see how the new zoo goes!

I had a cackle when you said you wouldn’t be putting an animal loads of people have a fobia of by the entrance, turns out I have a terrible fobia of frogs lmaooo. I understand it’s not as common but I thought it was hilarious
You should build the small original entrance elsewhere in the zoo. Many zoos didn’t demolish theirs they just added one and eventually retired the original
Very excited at the prospect of black rhino and chimpanzee! I hope that we see asian elephants (but I’m partial to elephants and put them in every zoo I build) because I feel like they’re a classic city zoo animal, but size requirements for the elephants in PZ are nuts
I would say that the chimpanzee needs more colour variants for the different skin tones that chimps tend to have, although western chimpanzees are the chimp subspecies most likely to have pale skin.
wow what a beautiful build again! I was wondering, what kind of computer you are playing on... I think my computer will have much lag already by building only the city you build... About a day to build the buildings around the entrance. Everything else is from the workshop although just placing them, the trees and the roads took an evening or two!

I love how you can go from this enormous and intricate SBZ entrance to a smaller more simple design and its still top notch!
Glad you like it!
No surprise, but the entrance is beautiful! I also appreciate that it wasn't the first build of the zoo... :D
Thanks Tony!

This is looking great!! I'm loving the style, the bronze works so well. I'll be curious to see if it continues in some other areas of the zoo!
Thanks! I haven't decided yet
Love the zoo entrance! The bronze pieces are so nice. Funny about the exhibit animal, I have a phobia of frogs!
You are the second person to say this! I have discovered a new phobia. I can only pray that frogaphobia is less common than arachnophobia.
Love it as usual, one thing you could add in the plaza is a column as high as the guests with a clock on each side, seems appropriate for this zoo
Thanks! They have one of those at Leipzig and I considered adding it actually but my entrance is a little smaller so I decided to omit it
already in love with this series
Thanks!
I cant wait for a zoo much closer to home ! This zoo already feels so much more nostalgic and comfortable than i thought possible ❤
