The colourful boho is eclectic. This more light minmal boho is natural boho with lots of natural materials like wood and rope over plastic and concrete
@@joannamartin4568 Yes and I absolutely love it :) Took me a while to figure out what "that certain vibe I love" is actually called lol The colorful boho is a bit too much for me, and I'm not a fan of eclectic style. I'd rather have pops of colour or just go with natural materials.
Not to be the person in the comments giving you advice, but I also love to have plants around and have a habit of killing them, and I really highly recommend the app Planta! It tells you when you need to water your plants! I've managed to keep 8 plants alive for 2 months which breaks every possible record of my plant past haha
Similar to other person above; not trying to be that one kid, but I thought the exact same way before I got my plants! I started with succulents/air plants and they’re super easy to take care of. After you’ve got the hang of that pothos and potato plants are not too hard either, and they look great! 🪴
My mom always has so I have never tried. My grandma was super good at it. Growing up on a farm and during the Great Depression made her a pro at gardening. Lol. There are some things my grandma was good at, my mom is bad at, and I am good at it. So my mom keeps telling me to try because maybe it skips a generation. 😂 We miss the tomatoes my grandma grew!

i love this build it’s so pretty! i really enjoyed that you kept the theme of the apartment in the kids room too in this build! it was really refreshing to see that instead of making a typical “kid” room with crazy colours etc.

_aahh i love everything you do_ 💗 i was thinking if you could make a BIG house for like 7 boys, all young adults just with the base game. they can be brothers or friends, and they could be a bit messy, you know, seven boys in one house, i luv u
Lovely flat, and a great use of the platform function. I love this soft cosy style. That adorable toddler bed is perfect, and I can imagine curling up under a blanket in that gorgeous living room. An observation about the little art space. You commented on the lack of natural light in the space and chose easels over a computer. As someone who does art and spend a lot of time on computers, I'd say dark corners are better for screens (no glare) and natural light is better for painting. Obviously that doesn't matter in the game, just if you're going for realistic. Secondly, some feedback for gameplay, a computer is essential for many aspects of gameplay, particularly careers and orders. And since there's no dining table either, there's not even room for a laptop (I wish Sims could use laptops on chairs and sofas on, y'know, their laps!). Obviously players can edit your build in game, but from a gameplay perspective, having a desk or suitable place for a laptop is important. As always, I love your builds, and I'm definitely enjoying the continued use of reshade.
Hi fellow Simlicy lovers!! I was just playing sims, and I was wondering: how does Simlicy get her camera like that - when it shows all views and perspectives, because when I play, I can’t get my camera to do that. (A general question) 🙋♀️

First off, disclaimer: I am not an interior designer, but I am a designer who has a vast knowledge of art history. Anyway, I think the style you're thinking about is boho-chic, which pushed the bohemian style forward during the mid 2000s thanks to designers like Kate Moss. Bohemian itself is very broad, but basically plays on a lot the mixing of materials: metallics, fabrics, patterns, etc. It does not necessarily need to be colorful, just playing with those aspects. In a way I would summarize that boho-chic is the mixing of Bohemian and Scandinavian designs-due in part to the fact the latter is generally very clean and almost minimal. It is much more marketable, but in order to bring more charm I feel like Bohemian was a good way to amp it up by utilizing aspects of it.
For a build idea you could do two French row homes that are very traditional. The families despise each other and they both have two kids. For the first family the parents are very strict and have two ‘perfect’ teenagers (one boy one girl). The second family is the opposite because the parents don’t have any rules and their house is really really cluttered. They also have a girl and boy teenager. Secretly two of the kids are dating and the other two are best friends. Also the first family had two other kids but they died in a car crash.
Hey!! The style you used here is boho chic! Similar to bohemian, it focuses on natural elements but instead of brighter hues, it uses more neutrals and any accents are typically muted!
Maybe you can use ‘hygge style home’ to describe the whole mood and color used in this kind of houses. It’s a really, really nice style for interior and I think it fits pretty well the furniture you chose for this type of ‘bohemian’ inspired homes.
How are you making your objects smaller in build mode and what packs are you using that come with all of the small objects to feel shelves and stuff with?
Bohemian is artistic and musical. Very hippie. Boho is like a lifestyle. Boho Chic is more of what you’re doing. It has a vibe of relaxed and creative. The “chic” is what modernizes it. There’s really no difference though because you could have sublime posters and colorful beaded doors and carpets with hindu/buddhist art, on these sandy tones and whites with succulents.
Personally, I would probably call this style Scandinavian-inspired or hygge (pronounced hoo-gah) which is the Danish word describing a cozy atmosphere :) This apartment is beautiful btw
Can you please tell us what packs you used? I see a lot of furniture and clutter items I’m not familiar with and there is only 2-3 packs I haven’t purchased. Or are you using custom content? Thanks
