I honestly think that Mage, Warlock and Conjurer is the most interesting awakenings. Like seriously, you can just become Vergil with any of those awakenings. Imagine 2 guys with op build seeing dark dressed man with white hair and lighting enchanted sword and they just like: "aw hell nah, this man is motivated as heck, we not ready for this"
Awe hell yeah! I’m an explosion conjurer using scimitars of storm. My AoE is so big that I can face general Argos and lady Carina in glorious melee combat and WIN in 3 minutes tops
Vergil? Why be the storm that is approaching when I can be the wacky woohoo pizza man, dual pistols are a weapon in this game and obviously there are swords to fit it as well
Not gonna lie I really like the awakenings, I do kind of wish the game would inform you sometime sooner in the story of how they work, but it's good nonetheless. Personally I went for a magic and strength build since I think it's really damn good to have both a lot of magic abilities/abilities that are pretty damn strong while also having good strength which can be extremely lethal and when coupled with stuff like dashing and magic leap (which I think can be modified to go horizontally) it can make for some pretty damn cracked combos. Also, iron leg + purple lightning just looks goddamn sick in general, haven't gotten to try it yet but it'll probably be extremely good, especially if it inflicts lightning status effects which are some of the best ones. Overall I love the awakenings, love that vetex technically kept the second and third minds from AA and just like how well the game goes this hard overall. I do wonder if I should prioritize magic leveling once the third awakening is released, as that could be great + I don't know if the balance will do anything like give an upgrade to warlock's focus or anything, but either way I guess we'll just have to see. Also keep in mind that certain builds will LOCK YOU OUT OF A CERTAIN STAT. I learned this the hard way after awakening to Warlock and having my weapon stat greyed out and un-allocatable. No weapon skills for me!

i lost strengh after reseting my stat points and putting them into wepons and magic but idc abt that cuz i alredy spent my refumdent ones and i dont rly care abt strenght

Conjurer or Warlock for Ash Magic? I know from some friends that there is a fighting style that contains burning in it. If that's the case, I think it's better to get Warlock for being more consistent in statuses and damage right?
I personally choosed warlock but i can say that all of them are good beacuse i have a second slot thats ash and my first one is flame personally all of them are good just for now fighting styles have a lot of skills than weapons but still more weapon skills will be released and weapons
Even though the trello states that light and shadow nerf each others magic damage I'm fine with that as I'm hoping for a combo magic like twilight or something if not I'll still do it.
Actually shadow nerfs deamage of light But light buffs the damage of shadow Same for fire and poison If the target is burning they take 10% less poison dmg But if they are poisoned they take 25% fire dmg
It would probably be better if the savant, the balanced build, could pick any of the awakenings instead of being locked to either magic or fighting styles, really annoying tbh.

Honestly would’ve gone berserker I wanted to get iron leg and cannon fist but the weapon imbue for warlord doesn’t really do much but change the color of your weapon from my experience using iron leg made everything easier the weapons were just a disadvantage

Ye metal and iron leg build it's op with bleed shit AND if you max out cernyx armour and your stats are 100 magic 150 strength you get over 1.5k hp AND WITH FOCUS FROM IRON LEG ITS OVER 2K
i have 25 points to put bc they locked warden class, not the awakening, they locked u putting more than 60% in vitality, that is such a dumb system let me atleast put my points into vitality instead of being essencially 12 levels behind a max level bc i cant put my points.
Im a Level 125 and a Apprentice Warlock. My stats are Mage 147 and Strength 103. When I finished this and got done speaking to Poseidon I never got to choose what I got as a 2nd magic and still don't have one. I never got to choose a second magic or second fighting style but when I pull out my fist I have the ice effect on my hands. I am confused.

since metal is such a sniper magic, it's moves can be extremely deadly when used at minimal size on someone who is stunned or slowed, so yeah, i think it's hella good paired up with it. also snow, or any other magic that is good for area denial or movement denial is good
flame is really good magic for all around classes it mix up well with everything i personally choosed warlock for flame but still its really good magic and for conjure so yes you have a good build dont worry
im doing a Ash Warlock and my main fighting style is Cannon Fist, so if the infused fighting style is what i think it is im be throwing literally gas bombs

paralyzed has no synergies but lightning does for example, if you freeze someone then use lightning the damage of the lightning attack will be boosted by a lot keep in mind the target must be FROZEN not FREEZING for the buff to take place

if you want to imbue weapons with magic, your only option currently is conjurer (savant requires 2nd awakening) if you want 2nd (and later 3rd) magic, you'll have to go mage for now the only way you choose your awakening is by spending points to get the right build (40 in weapons and magic for conjurer each, majority magic for mage)
I have shadow and it doesn’t have anything besides dmg reduction when I get certain status effects so what magic second magic should I get im conjurer so maybe acid because bleed but im not sure
if you wanna get the mage awakening: it's fine, you only need 70% in magic if you wanted the magic arts like ultimate art and modes, wait for reset potions to be added
@@Wats_Plays yea snow and ice is easier to freeze with, has a higher damage output, platforms, resist aura is stronger, and is easier to get full blind. But it for wind and snow, it's better underwater, has knockback, speed aura is stronger, and is faster. (Which speed also helps get frozen more)

Conjurer is better in my opinion since there is many weapons and more weapons will release in the first updante since as arcanium weapons and etc

it depends on ur build ur build is warlock so u get ice effect
and ur magic is prob ice everyone gets different awakening depending on their build
in order to get 2 magics, you need ALL stat points in magic

@@Wats_Plays yea snow and ice is easier to freeze with, has a higher damage output, platforms, resist aura is stronger, and is easier to get full blind.
But it for wind and snow, it's better underwater, has knockback, speed aura is stronger, and is faster. (Which speed also helps get frozen more)
@@pov115 that is true but as I played through I realized that snow is not a good starting magic because the snowy effect is useless on NPCs
@@Wats_Plays It's a good starter magic nonetheless as snow has good stats as it's well rounded, you shouldn't care about status effects early, aslong as you like the magics you choose it's all good
