Blaque is an American R&B and Pop music girl group. Blaque, mentored by Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes of TLC, consists of members Shamari Devoe (formally Fears), Brandi Williams, and Natina Reed. In this video, I am discussing Blaque's career and their contribution to pop culture of the late 90s and early 2000s. The trio was also featured in the 2000 teen movie Bring It On as members of the East Compton Clovers cheerleading squad.

📝 | Other notable accomplishments by the ladies of Blaque (outside of the group) include Natina Reed's 2001 collaboration with then fiancé and West Coast rapper Kurupt for a song titled "It's Over." Brandi Williams was featured on Nelly's 2005 hit song "Grillz," which reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2006, Shamari Fears became Shamari DeVoe after tying the knot with legendary musician Ronnie DeVoe of New Edition. She also briefly joined the cast of 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' Season 11 (2018) and BET's 'The Encore' (2021). ✨

They REALLY are! It's hard to believe they came out in the late 90s because their style and sound so accurately represented what the culture of the early 2000s would come to be! ✨

I loved them too. Yes, very sad. I dreaded even having to mention that in the video. 💔

I loved "I'm Good." Blaque made really good soundtrack music in addition to their regular songs. Very underrated.
