i love when you can just tell if someone is a genuinely good person or not.
CamCan1324 Trust me you can't.
Doge Challenger you’re right you turn your back for a second and then boom they’re a jagoff
This comment 🤌🏼
I respect the people who do this. i wouldn't be able do it.
That is a crazy job. I respect you a lot for your work and the effort you put into it. It pretty awesome.
Very nice guy. Seems like he loves what he does and is very happy.
i love when people are proud of what they do and take joy in it
Incredible! I would be mortified at heights like that!
I take my hat for all that work that high!
Jose Urias I'm about to go to work really high
Jose Urias out of tontext, this could be taken way differently
@@bigrednolaccount6767 lol

Im glad he enjoys what he does and how he does it.
Who enjoys being at the brink of falling, sometimes being happy is not possible in a job
I'm a windows cleaner and i Love my job
Dirty windows are uncomfortable and with a cleaning windows you FEEL in à good mood and you breath better inside à room or anywere
Where are u from
Hard core. I'm surprised it's not a legal requirement to tether your tools. Very easy to do with some clips and string. Would also save your hands having a relaxed grip.
It's is in the UK
Ben Adriance it’s a safety hazard to tether them. Plus the areas below are required by OSHA to be taped off
@@GaudetteProductions1 OSHA requires u to tie off your tools any time there's a risk to people below, barricade or not. (Pretty sure). Haven't read the mandates in a while tho.
I have always admired window cleaners! I could never do that job. Great story. Cheers to them.
1st and 2nd floor windows would be spotless but I’m going on lunch break and probably never return for 3rd floor and up 🙈 I hate heights I threw up looking at this
I smiled the whole way through this video. I was a window cleaner in Idaho for seven years and loved every bit of it. It is still my best loved business.
Thanks for sharing what it's like doing those high windows, I had nothing over four stories. Still smiling, thanks again.
It takes a real ability to divorce yourself from reality in order to do this work. I couldn't do it. I'd rather be a patrol officer in the middle of Detroit than stand on my own roof let alone 20 stories up cleaning windows.
LMAO 😂 same
LMAOOO
It’s weird because I’m terrified of heights but work 8+ hours in a harness on a machine that lifts me 40+ feet in the air. You get used to it honestly. At first it’s so terrifying but you really do just disconnect from it and learn to trust the harness.
Why aren't their tools anchored to their belts incase they drop them?! They'd kill someone if they hit them on the melon!
+Andee Green Agreed!
the area beneath should be fenced anyway, tools anchored or not, of course depending on the legislation
"LOOK OUT BELOW" works lol
Riley Koziol I'm a vegan
josh mckinney great
1:25: if I slipped, there's going to be me AND a door frame hitting the ground. . .
Lmao
Brent Weingard is the most humble guy I've ever met. He's got that old world charm
I love this dude he's just so happy and he loves his work.
Doing a great job mate from window cleaners in Doncaster yorkshire England
Hi Alan. I am a rope access technician please could i possibly get a job like yours in Doncaster yorkshire England
Thank you for your service, stay safe and may God bless you.
I love how he never mentioned the weather. Tough New Yorker. I freak out over a slight wind at tall heights. I could only imagine it being 12F with 30mph wind gust up a few hundred feet.
I have always had great respect for people that do this work. Thank You so much I Pray 🙏 for your Safety.
Wow,
Salute to you guys. We take everything for granted and what a great inspiration. Living truly on the edge.
Thanks a million to these workers.
Great video Brent. I have been cleaning windows for 40 years in Western Massachusetts. It almost seems like I was talking on the video. Everything you said, did and use is what we have done over the years. Although not as many high building here in Western Mass we have done a few in the past and just like you I remember my first time out on the ledge. lol. Keep up the good work. Jim
My cousin has been doing this for a living for many years here in NYC, he works for himself & does pretty well. I've had the privilege of assisting him on several jobs & I must say, you have to have a respect for the heights. The views are always great.
I truly admire your courage and appreciate your very hard work. Thanks for sharing this ♥
I’m in awe of dudes like you. Well done.
Wowwww.......... You guys are incredible!
Mad respect for those workers! Kudos!
Awesome!. Big respect for the guys!
I still clean windows at 51. Been doing it for awhile now...with a company who's been around since 1953.
Really glad people like Brent are happy with his job!
Remember Madge from the commercials, who soaked her fingers in Palmolive dish washing detergent? I met a guy in the seventies who said he met her at a party, and wound up going home with her. Finally he asked her.."Is it true about the benefits of Palmolive?" And she said, "You're soakin' in it."
Was googling Iron maiden Man on Edge but I'm glad i clicked this video =P
Huge respect for these guys. Also I think this would be a very interesting job
Keep up the good work man!

WOW! this is so amazing thanks for sharing.
DangerMan
my hats off to you sir!
Well, i must say he's brave enough to deal with that sort of things. The matter isn't only in the suppression of the fear of heights but also in putting up with an idea of being on an edge every moment. that's pretty terrific in some way but surely challenging.
respect to you window cleaners!
Maaaan more power to y'all!!!
Nice job, great views

Dude this is crazy i would never do this. This guy is crazy awesome
Who would "put these guys down"? Absolute balls of steel. Hats off to them. You'd never even get me out on the ledge, much less working out there.

That guys just livin his life *puts on sunglasses* on the edge YEEEEEEAAAAH
Much respect...God bless you and keep you all safe & healthy. :-) sorta looks like fun and somewhat peaceful once you get past the fear of heights....although not taken for granted.

Interesting, gave me a new perspective. First useful youtube email I've gotten

Wow amazing! Respect for those guys! If possible I really want to help you out for a couple weeks, then that would be my holiday :-)
Super cool
Am interested if its hard to get insurance coverage, and how does one get training for being a window cleaner?
I got respect for anyone who works hard.
My heart was pounding and my hands were clamy the entire time I was watching. That equipment didnt look so life saving. I say a little prayer everytime I look out a clean NYC window!!!
Nice. I've been doing this for over 20 years. We would never use belt hooks. It's off the roof and down the side of the building. I wonder if your still doing it.
So cool
I respect this guy.
Nice Job
Sounds like a fun, exciting job. Where do I sign up?
This actually sounds like an interesting job, I'd like to try it for a day or two.
