Considering how much Wei Wuxian keeps tapping his low spirit to power his talisman/spells to protect or save others? Not to mention that Mo's body has a weak golden core. I'm amazed that he isn't exhausted all of the time or in comas more often. No wonder the juniors find themselves instinctively looking up to him. Wei is a role model of selfless action for the safety of others. Plus, his lessons aren't strict with the protocol.
The actor who plays jiang cheng character is so good. The conflicted emotions on jiang cheng 's face. He want to help wei, but also he hates him for shije's death .hope to see him in more dramas

In the book this scene was even more heartbreaking....it turns out the remaining Wen sect(Ayuans' grandma, uncle 4 and the rest) had been killed and thrown in the red pool. During the attack they rose up and started fighting against the corpses. Then one of them started approaching Ayuan (the grandma I presume) and was reaching out but got distracted and started fighting the corpses again. Wei Wuxian then broke down crying and asked "is it you?"
They came out just to save them....it's like they were just waiting.😭😭
It's much more emotional than how I'm explaining it but I cried a river reading that part.
Honestly, that was such an amazing scene. I really wish they had kept that. That was so beautiful.
