Ah good, a Finale specialist! Currently, I'm using the trial version. I'm using a Windows PC running 8.1. I have ordered a MIDI cable to link my Technics SX-PR603 digital piano to my PC with the Finale software listening and recording everything that I play. I've been warned, however, that I will need to play robotically so that Finale groups notes, etc correctly, or as near as, to avoid me having to edit like crazy. Being able to play from my piano straight to Finale software on PC would be super-quick would it not? I'm using the laborious method without using my piano for now. Two problems I have currently are stems in octaves/chords are at LHS instead of RHS. Also, my piece is in 3/4 time and I have a minim chord, 4 semiquavers (one crotchet beat), BUT I want a further crotchet chord, but of course I want to add a rest above the minim chord, so that Finale recognises I want to add yet a further chord at the end of the bar. How do I do that?

I understand how to apply one keyboard to all musical instrument in finale, but my question is how to apply multiply synths(keyboards) to different instruments. For example Flute (korg minilogue) piano (Yamaha cp) bass (novation bass station 2) Can this be done? Thank you and any info would be helpful.
Hi Markus, It's certainly possible to use different sound libraries or synthesizers for different instruments. If you're having trouble setting up multiple VSTs, don't hesitate to contact our support team at bit.ly/MakeMusichelp for more info.
Are those drum plugins and harmony plugin part of the standard Finale install or once we buy it we will find out we have to pay extra for the plug-in??

I think it shouldn't be too difficult for you to produce this type of video in an HD resolution. The screenshot here is virtually unreadable.

Finale is only able to accept note entry from a MIDI controller, not a regular piano.
