C-ups my mans walked away with J cups and a L shaped boxed front fade with the Hindu glaze over, that was dirty work leaving the corners to come pass his eyebrows then cement it with a pencil line up. Bro look like he about to be beauty pageant ready if u hit him with another dam enhancement
I've had an emergency appointment. I somehow managed to set my sewn in hair on fire and fortunately, only the weave burned but you know I was looking crazy. Good on you for showing up for him... Edited to add: I have locs that I maintain now and I'm no longer careless with candles. Edited one more time to add: You did really good on his head. That boy is cute with that cut!
Man… just wanted to say I love how much you honor your craft… personally, I’m barbering because I was led by God, so I struggle to have a true passion for it seeing as I’m doing it as an instruction rather than out of passion. Nice job. I’m a firm believer in doing what the customer asks for. I let someone at a shop cut my hair. He paid no attention to my instructions and cut all my hair off. I was so upset I started screaming! I NEVER went back.
I personally do not like these new haircuts..so unnatural. .. Cutting in of a " hairline" That is all you see right away Natural clean hairline is much more attractive I see what many barbers do on dark skinned persons.. 😱

Good cut but I think a high taper would have been better for him by blending into the hair and that way you didn’t have to use that much enhancements if any at all, unless of course that’s what he asked for.
Invest in a wide comb with big teeth for this tyoe hair so you can comb it out before cutting I know that guard on uncombed thick curly hair was uncomfortable for your client.
Nothing bothers me more than seeing people with side bars too narrow. I feel like they should line up with the edge of your eyebrows otherwise it looks like a box in the middle of your head
They don't understand blk hair, they think it's disgusting one guy told him he should have worn gloves .. like really ? From the beginning not just because of blk hair
💯 Facts! Buddy wanted to leave the top long just like he said . You can tell he didn’t want to cut it that low. Barber bullied him into it and his personality wasn’t strong enough to advocate for himself against an adult. Barber should have just washed and detoxed his hair really well at first. Gave him the cut he actually wanted.

My dad always said,” you know what the difference is between a good haircut and a bad one? Answer- Two Weeks! 😂 It was shorter than the client wanted but this is a good fresh start. If he goes more often then he can get to his desired length with healthy/happy hair!
For the future, the Babyliss FX2 or FX3 are a great investment. The could cut through course hair, dreads, or twist without a snag. You could have kept the hair at a 4 or 5 and diagonal blended the sides and back. Just food for thought.
