As someone who was stalked by anonymous letters as a teen, I can relate all too well to the sheer terror the family must have gone through. I was too afraid and ashamed to tell my parents what was happening, even though they got some letters too I convinced them it it was a nasty prank. After the letters became extreme I finally got the courage to go to the police, who discovered the writer was my best friend’s father. Worst of all my best friend knew what he was doing had been helping him, that’s how he knew everything about me. People can be so fucked up.

Perhaps they should look into friends of the children of the 1960s family: "I ran the halls imganing life with the rich people inside" sounds like kids playing after school, and stuff. Or perhaps, children of cleaning people, housekeepers, construction workers etc.

My money’s on one of the Woods kids (who sound like they’d be young adults at the time of this). They lived in that house for 20 YEARS, probably spent almost their entire childhoods there and were probably heartbroken/pissed when their parents sold the house. The fact that the Woods only got one letter right after they sold the house and then the minute the new neighbors moved in it got ramped up says a lot. This was anger targeted at the new owners for living in what they perceived as *their* house, not some “generational thing”. The “kid” would obviously want to hide their identity and talk/write like an older person, reference “the 60’s” etc just to throw them off. Its really not that far fetched, I remember when I was a teenager my parents decided to move from my childhood home I loved and I tried everything I could to keep anyone else from living there. I would even throw away the “for sale” sign every time the realtor put it up lmao. I didn’t want to let it go. And after it was sold I would pass by it and just get, like almost enraged. I never said anything to the new owners but I hated that they lived there. If someone in my situation had a more “troll” mentality I could see them getting what they saw as a kind of revenge, and trying to drive out anyone else who lived there .

Hi Georgia, you should do the Ventura County Jane Doe case. She was a Jane Doe found in 1980 in a schoolyard in Thousand Oaks, CA. She was about 15-30 yrs old and was pregnant with a child. She was murd3r3d by a serial killer named Wilson Chouest. Chouest also k1ll3d Shirley Soosay who was also murdered in 1980 and also a Jane Doe until 2021. Both women were violated and k1ll3d viciously. The DNA Doe Project handled the identification of both Shirley and Ventura Jane Doe. The latter, also nicknamed Lyra Jade by Websleuthers, still remained unidentified and the DDP struggled with her identification due to her Hispanic heritage (Hispanic/Latin cases are hard to identify due to not much data in genealogical database) and consanguinity in her family tree (basically making distant relatives seem closer). They have managed to track down her baby's father but not much info came from that. I think this would be a good suggestion for a later vid as part of your John/Jane Doe series.

I've looked into this one pretty thoroughly, and I believe everything points to John Woods sending the letters. It's extremely odd that the previous occupants only got one of these letter, and only right before they left the house to sell it to the Woods, who got inundated with letters. When they finally sold it, the letters mysteriously stopped. All of that looks really suspicious. I think it's odd that, for a long time, the letters only showed up when John was home alone. A large part of this story that gets left out is the part where John told a lot of his friends and family that it was a big purchase, and he was worried they couldn't really afford it. It's my belief that he panicked over the cost of the house and renovations, decided they couldn't do it after all, and tried to back out of the deal without owning up to his wife that they'd made a huge financial mistake.
It's just really, really odd that the letters started when they bought the house and stopped when they left. There's a very obvious explanation for why that is.

I just read a news story about a mother who bombarded her own teenage daughter and other teens with endless hateful online messages, hiding behind a VPN and various closely held resentments or odd motivations unguessable to others. I would believe an egotist man with a personality disorder would do this to his own family rather than admit he made a financial error. There have been entire family murders by men motivated solely by the fact of their debt and not wanting to be seen as a failure.
There are people also who claim to be victims of this or that thate crime and are rpoven to have hurt themselves and written slurs on themselves or on property. Why? Often as a diversion from behaviour that is going to get them into trouble, or to attract pity and that special kind of power that comes with being a celebrated victim online.
It's also like spiking ... sure, a lot of people are spiked by total strangers who want something specific (to rob, rape etc) but it's astonishing the number of young people who are spiked by so called friends - people within their own social circle who resent something about them and think it's fun to see them out of control and simply don't care if they get raped or hurt because of it. A lot of resentments exist between people who know each other and the more intimate, the more twisted people can get. If you're spiked in close company and cannot figure how? It's probably your friends.

Hello Georgia, I wrote a comment about this a couple months ago but I strongly believe this case could use some attention. On your video about the plane that crashed into the Andes in 1972, I wrote a comment regarding the Saskatoon freezing deaths, 3 confirmed murders and possibly more commited by the Canadian police force. Indigenous Canadians were literally driven to the outskirts of town during the unimaginably cold Saskatchewan winters by police officers. Nobody deserves to die at the hands of the police, but these killings were especially cruel. They were given no dignity. They were just left out there to die of hypothermia, the police officers have never faced any repercussions. In 2012, the Wikipedia page for the Saskatoon freezing deaths were edited on a computer that was, in the end, traced to a police station! I can't explain how infuriating that is! It's so obvious the cops drove these innocent people out to let them die, the arrests they made weren't even valid. This whole story breaks my heart in so many places that it was hard for me to even write this comment

I hate unsolved mysteries lol! But after hearing the true story, I think that maybe for whatever reason, the father may have been the watcher? Maybe it had something to do with their finances and he needed a way to back out of the deal? The old owners got the letter right before they moved and then the letters came to the new family before they even moved in. So maybe something happened after the deal was closed that made the father have to create a legal way out by claiming the letters were never disclosed to them. Plus, he went as far as writing his own letter so something seems off.

Hmm. I'd be looking at the Netflix New Projects director, Spooky Horror film Division 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️??? Possibly????
Or, slightly more seriously someone who had felt they had a vested interest in the property, a craftsperson builder, 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️ renovator,
👩‍💼👨‍💼interior designer, landscaper, gardener etc, who felt their work was to be destroyed or would be unappreciated by the new owners.
'Youngblood' implies Dracula? Vampirella intimations. Or could be a sly clue as to a name or a profession. A Mr or Mrs/Ms Young? Jung?
    A phlebotomist? Obstetricians, Nurse?
The 'Wall' aspect might also be a name hint or indicate someone who was proud if their work on the walls of the house or garden. I've seen some surprisingly artistic walls done by exceptionally talented stone masons for example.
If a particularly artistic tradesperson on a quality project had heard that such a project were to be destroyed or altered too soon in their eyes at least, I can imagine it might hurt.

I always found the case of the Water so interesting but also creepy. To think that you bought your dream home and spend million son it, only to be sent anonymous letters about the house. I will be creeped out right away. I definitely don't think the police did enough to find out who was responsible. They thought it was a prank since the beginning so they didn't bother investigating. I always thought it could've been one of two things: the letters could've been sent by someone who saw it as their dream house as well and really wanted it but the Broaddus’ got it instead and they were really mad. They thought by writing these letters, it would scare them enough to move out of fhe house and then they can bought. Or it could've been a past owner who lost the house and really loved the house so the person and the family started watching the house to make sure it was being properly taken care of or whatever.

I've know about this case for years and nobody's addressed what would have been a simple solution. It's not like this happened in the 1980s or anything. Why didn't the Westfield police [or the Broaddus family, for that matter] install surveillance equipment aimed at the mailbox? >Boom< Problem solved and The Watcher on camera.

There was a whole part of the video where Georgia talked about the stamps on the letters and that they'd been tracked to a local mail facility, so this person was not delivering them personally. As such, it confused me when she later mentioned Mr. Broaddus staking out the house to catch The Watcher at the mailbox. Why was he doing that if they were stamped and delivered through the postal service?
