Don't know why. This was one of my favourites. But im a little biased there aren't many Linkin Park songs I didn't like. Sad thing is they got me through (and still do) the toughest times of my life. I never understood why people didn't like Linkin Park

This album is SO underrated.
Well the previous albums were mostly nu-metal, so ofc a lot of linkin park fans didn't like a thousand suns, I have to admit I dont't like it either. The Catalyst is the only song I like from it. but I respect they wanted to try something new :) I really liked the hunting party tho :D

This album, especially this track, was so ahead of its time. It was so experimental and had beautiful and poetic lyrics, deep themes, different and atmospheric instrumentals. This band really wanted to put out something new. Personally I've always loved it, but it has always been so underrated
I agree. I got into them in 4th grade, a year before this album was released. Wasn't allowed on TH-cam as a kid so I used Pandora for all my music. Hybrid Theory and Meteora were my favorites. When this came out I did not like it at all. 7 years later i started to really appreciate it. Too ahead of its time is a total understatement. Though could also be argued it fit the growing electronic music scene in the early 2010s, but we won't talk about that 😉

Even with their popularity, I believe the group is underrated.
I have this as a Top 10 album of all time... its one of my Dark Side of the Moons as its to play from song 1 all the way through to the end and it just flows perfectly. Their creative juices really blossomed here and to me they showed their real talent as artists here. Love this album for so many reasons!

No, he did not *die like a legend.* We buried 13 people in 6 months in 2021, and less than half of those were from Covid. Half of the non Covid deaths were from suicide. Hangings and guns to the head.
That is not a legendary fucking way of dying. Not when your *children* find you or stand the risk of finding you. That is a horrible, tragic method of death, and not even remotely legendary *in the slightest.*

I liked a few songs including this one but overall I felt like they were trying to be too unique just for the sake of being unique y’know? Same goes for Hunting Party. Living Things was great & underrated though

Crux Najii Because he gave the world enough and couldn't fight the good fight anymore. We all wanted more from him, but we never looked at the soul that made these songs. If we, as fan's, could have appreciated him more, if a lot of us did not criticize him with false rumors of selling out, especially in a time when he lost a close friend, then maybe, just maybe, we could have helped him fight for a little while longer. Chester will be remembered, by this generation, and hopefully for more generations down the line.
Listening to LP after a long break from my college days (10 yrs back) . I had never come across this song , but now I’m addicted to this.. hooked back to LP.. this one is a masterpiece ❤
This song is so true we are a broken people living under loaded gun, god bless all those at war both sides nobody wants to loose a mother father child grandfather or grandmother uncle aunts cousins or friends we are all human ...this has to stop a senseless war thousands upon thousands of lives lost for what money 💰 🤑 💸 🤔 religion 🤔 or is it control .....God will judge all involved and karma will fall...and it will fall hard for all innocent lives lost, irregardless of whatever creed, relgion or belief you have ...nobody safe ....

It makes me sad that people never understood what a piece of art this album is, but they couldn't see past their anger of them being "different" and missed out on a truly beautiful piece of music. To this day still my favorite album.

I was shocked how good it is when I first listened to it. Every song doesn't look like much when you first listen to them, but they stick with you, and when you listen to them a couple of times, you realize why - because they are fucking awesome
In 2023 this album hits different
I miss Chester... Like foreal. These last 2 years have been hard on me. And I always wind up pulling up Linkin Park to pick me back up. This band will always have a hold on my heart.
