If you simply examine Cheryl and Fergie as people, Cheryl is hands down more gracious, kind, empathic, and understanding of the human condition than Fergie. If I needed someone or help, I would definitely go to Cheryl and not Fergie.

Do English-folk have difficulty understanding each other through their accents usually, or is that just my being unaccustomed to it? I can barely understand Cheryl when she speaks, but amazingly, the accent vanishes when she's singing. I have a difficult time reconciling one voice with the other.
