I like C tuning and I stay in it most of the time. Rather then retune to to open G I find I can do most everything in C just by making a G cord in C tuning. Most songs Pete did were C tuning and he just moved his capo around the neck for different Keys. I like that simplicity. F cord is becoming quicker for me now with practice.
