The opponents after seeing you get two kills in two turns just tapped out. Seemingly in the mindset of: "If I'm going down I'm taking this ass hole down with me!" But than quit immediately once the other guy quit.
At 11:27 you back out of the forced card trade to check your +2. Did you hit “esc” to do that? I’ve found myself unable to back out just like you were when clicking the X
how neat would it be to have an after match playback without the fog so you can see what happened, when, earlier in the match? would be helpful for anyone who wants to look back at their game to learn from a mistake etc.
A replay system would be awesome. It’d give me a whole new world of potential content cause I could do game review of multiple different players in the game
This map is so prone to becoming a stalemate, i absolutely hate sitting there for an hour attacking once and just essentially waiting for the other two players to become enemies, sometimes you even have to give up ground and of course bonuses in that process, its so boring playing to win in that situation. I can think of a million better ways to spend that hour so i just tend to call it at that point hoping for second place. You wait for your next trade in at 3 cards then you send it all into one of them as long the player you aim to give the win too isnt on 4 cards himself. Its so boring to play those stalemate games, first you try to card block one so he has to go into the other guy but if the third guy is good he will realize that you have the second guy cardblocked from your end so they dont become enemies anyway. at that point patience decides who wins. Am i willing to sit there for an hour or more just collecting cards, personally im not.
Yeah big time stalemates were had in my other attempts. The map doesn't leave enough cards after the card blocks so you're either forced to leverage troop advantage or you have to give the guy a card.

At least the last 2 hour one I think was a decent game but just stalemated quite a bit in the middle

I understand why purple botted in the end. Guaranteed 2nd after orange bots and had absolutely no hope of winning. Dragging it out seemed pointless.
Yeah I definitely was more confused by orange quitting after he was able to recapture his own capital.
