7 years na kaming LDR ng partner ko. When Adie posted that he’ll release this song on Dec 8th (today), I was like “Sakto, labas ko ng quarantine yun. We're both fans of Adie. He used to say na I am his "Paraluman." And we've been using the word "Tahanan" referring to each other. Lagi naming sinasabi na kami ang tahanan ng isa't isa, na muli't muli ay may tahanan kaming uuwian. We did not work out and chose to let each other go. Mula sa paraluman, naging paalam. At ngayon nakikinig ako sa kantang 'to. Adie released this song 2 days before the day of what was supposed to be our Anniversary. Sya pa rin, sya pa rin ang tahanan ko, kahit hindi na ako ang tahanan nya.

I don't know why but this song made me remember something from the past. It was December, probably 5 to 6 years ago. Our village held simbang gabis but at 5 pm so I decided to go. When I was heading back home, I saw this guy that I like and he saw me as well. He asked me to stop because there's something he wanted to tell me and we stared at each other for a couple of seconds until I saw my parents' vehicle pulling up our driveway so I said goodbye and ran home. It's been half a decade now and every time I remember him, this is always the first thought that comes to my mind. I have realized that there's one corner of my heart that will always belong to him. Not staying for a little longer to hear what he wanted to tell me is probably my biggest regret in this lifetime.

Around January 2022, this was my favorite song. It always reminds me of my boyfriend at that time. Then 3 months later, we broke up, and even though it’s my comfort song, I stopped listening to it. So I can forget him. Trending din yung MV nito with blythe at that time but I refused to watch it. Because, I’m moving on. Lagi kong iniiwasan tong kanta g to. I met this girl Feb 2021. She's soo kind and pure. Smart and independent woman. She's so insecure abt her self, has a family problem. Struggling with her mental health... She has dying inside everyday without everyone noticing it. Knowng what she has gone thru has made me even fall for her moree! She's so strong:"( U wont notice that she has a lot of problem behind her precious smile. I built her confidence telling her everyday that she's so gorgeous, beautiful. I gave her the love that she needed, I gave all my time and attention bcs I don't want her to feel lonely. I'm so proud of her. I'm so proud of what she become.. even though she had cause me alot of pain, i can't physically, emotionally stay mad at someone who really hurt me bcs I put my self in their shoes and imagine what they're goin' thru... i will still choose her regardless. I love her sm, everything abt her. Every piece of her! Esp her soul:(( it was only with her, kung di lng rin siya ay wag nalang.. "oh dito kalang aking tahanan" it seemed like a part of my life and a part of my heart would always belong to her..

This song reminds me of those days when i was her "Tahanan". she was in a toxic relationship and thankfully i came on time. I saved her from tears, depression, stress and the feeling of being unwanted. i healed her made her forget the memories. we were so happy.. felt like nothing could ever separate us, always there for each other we had this inseparable bond. she told me: i was her LIGHT but.. as the saying goes if there's too much light you'll get blinded. what was once "unseparable" became "separable"
