I like this Idea of the tube elements. I've wondered if it would be feasible on 10 meters.
Also, what are your thoughts on using non conductive booms and mast?
    I'll look for part 2.

Couple of quick questions for you where did you buy the materials do you have part numbers and also do you have specific measurements if someone wanted to duplicate your efforts

Very interesting. i really like the double boom and adjustable side pieces. How much overlap do you use on the "trombone areas" I see that you sell a bender. Is it it difficult to get the length correct on the side pieces with the two 90 degree bends. Any special techniques needed to keep the aluminum tubing from collapsing when you are bending.

The best way is to reduce all elements by 50mm overall to allow for the radius on the corners. Then simply adjust all elements tips by the same amount to finalise frequency. I use between 60mm and 100mm overlap depending on frequency.

Hi Justin, I have an old Jaybeam Multibeam MBM28, that uses the quad dipole that it is fed in the centre. I need to repair it, as it corroded apart a few years ago.

If I was to build a 3 element quad antenna could I use speaker wire, incased in a clear sleeve, or would this not work.
