As a Magic fan most of my life. This is the 1st time in a long time, where fans that I know don't question F.O. decisions. Welt-Ham have done an amazing job in the short time here. Getting the #1 overall pick and drafting Paolo didn't hurt either.
Kai Sotto a young 7'3" center who can rebound, defend and block shots at the center, and at the same time shoot from the perimeter and the 3s , assist.. will be a great addition to these 2 magic drafted players . The trio will be a good project for the Orlando to develop.. a guard, a forward, and a center who can play.. they can make a real MAGIC for the Orlando franchise.
His and John's intent will be very clear after this off season. The self evaluation (maybe consolidating or not certain positions), does Cole and Markelle get their extensions (hope so), do we go draft with fit or needs in mind, do we go aggressive in FA and which positions are the targets. This Thursday will be a big indicator of where we are going as a squad. Looking forward to it. Hopefully its Ausar and Gradey, with a good backup big in Free Agency

Yes we intentionally didn’t bring in anyone at the trade deadline and we plan on not investing a large amount of cap into a star right now as we want to stay flexible for the right opportunity 2. We want high IQ players we believe our guys will become that and we’re going to add high iq players in the draft 3. Who the player is and how we can get them to their potential may mean more then their talent, big board ranking 4.we’re not expecting these rookies to start right away as Paolo and Franz did 5.expect more moves in the draft vs free agency but we’re looking for opportunities 6. We generally like guys with years of success in the draft Taylor Hendricks is nice but not for us 7.reconfirming again we know what we’re doing in the draft and we are where we are intentionally through trade and roster manipulation 8. Endless amounts of sniffs 9. Not getting close to the cap, once again no rush to push pieces in the middle for stars yet
