I mean relatively she IS weak. Probably the weakest character. Doesn’t mean she can’t see wins and success, the game is very well balanced. But that doesn’t mean she isn’t weak when compared to everyone else.

The difficulty speaks to the engagement people have with the game. Tekken 8 is really fun so people want to get good. I’ll admit they really knocked it out of the park with this one.

Bro i hit tekken god and 80% of all of my opponents have 450k+ prowess and guards like a god. I felt brickwalled after a few demotions to tekken emperor. It feels bad to be trucked. When i met ppl of my prowess it felt way better and felt like improving

I need reaina tips. I have 4 raijin ranks drag, hei, devil jin, & clive. My kazuya is fujin multiple ruler ranks. However, my reina remains tenryu. She's my first wifu character. I typically use male characters. Are we getting a how to beat reina soon or ??? Thanks
I don't play her like that, but honestly you can get away with spamming FF2F or DF-F into stance shenanigans at tenryu. Throw in a couple heavy plus frames like WR3 or WR4 to make em calm down if they get jittery

Bryan is mostly about keep out and counter hit Maybe a bit mind game as well "Will I press my unsafe second hit of my string?" So it's not as easy as people say if you want to reach tg ranks you will know what I mean.

Bryan’s main specialty and what he’s good at are counter attacks. He’s best at punishing you for slipping up, so half-the time you are on defense (blocking) and it takes a lot of big brain tactics to play Bryan at his best. Because of his identity it is extremely difficult to play against Spammy braindead characters (Victor, Alisa, Xiaoyu, Yoshi, you know, those guys). If you wanna reach Tekken God with this guy, good luck, you will need a lot of it.

@@theodorluminshield4367 I couldn't play tekken cause I couldn't get my hands on a device but Steve is a good example of ''Honest" but you still need to put in the work. He's Honest in a way that he does lack cheap moves (like a fast DF2 uppercut or hopkick) like the others, often letting his opps get away with shit they should not. Lee is also a really difficult character and worth to master, playing him at his best is an art form, same story goes with Steve. Mishimas also fall into this category.
This clown constantly embellishes how hard T8 ranked is when in reality it's a joke. He forgets at the end of year 1 in T7 console most of the big players were only red and purple ranks and the game was already out for 3 years at the time. It took 3-4 years on console for the first PRIMES. Everyone was GoD within 3-4 months in T8. You can literally lose to anyone in T8 regardless of skill because of how hard this game goes on hard guess 50/50 situations. And anyone can get Fujin or Kishin or even Tekken King because the ranked system just puts everyone there by default if you have 2 brain cells to rub together. T8 was designed intentionally to be easy and playable at a high level without legacy knowledge or execution.
Tekken 8 has hand-holding till warrior and less ranks. TE and up it is indeed a struggle. Other guys smokin sumn strange tho, most NA ranked players are buns, especially if they play only 1 character
Top level players are getting God of Destruction in 1 day with new characters and basically all of them seem to be able to get any character to that rank really quickly. It's far easier to get than Omega in t7.

Final blue ranks and above is tough now because you have top dan players playing alts and i often find tekken gods and above playing there too. So is like playing those ranks without being there haha. I'm only tekken king with Hei and it's hardcore. At least for me.
well when you go through his entire move set, it becomes pretty obvious that he is a mid range monster in comparison to asuka. She doesn't have crazy range, if anything she is more or less of a defense character.
I was tekken king, and then for some reason ranked matched me with 15 god of destruction players in a row and I got demoted back to raijin….. why? Can anyone explain wtf is up with the prowess system match making. Or maybe is it the stat system? Even at Raijin I’m matching with god players secondary characters More info: My stats (attack block etc) went up as my rank went down (which is odd) My prowess is 245k to 252k the god ranks are still 100k to 200k more than mine. So idk why I’m being matched with them.
You're being ridiculous cause characters in SC are way more fun and challenging than Clive.. Sophitia excelling at punishes and having double just frame to get extra damage, Tira using her movement to make opponents whiff, zasalamel having curse etc That's way more interesting than anything Clive does
@@Vospi Your average Soul Calibur character's backdash is faster animation wise, and almost twice as big as an average Tekken character's. The "fullscreen size" is also much bigger. However, most notable dash attack and forward movement in general is also completely nuts on a lot of characters. So the concept of "range" is very different in that game, you absolutely cannot compare them in that regard. Because of how it works, Soul Calibur is (mostly) not a keep out game, it's a lot more interactive than Tekken in fact. Amy's SCVI range is definitely worse than Clive's based on limb size and weapon size alone, but she can still pressure 90% of the SCVI cast. Range (especially pushback) only becomes an issue for her in extreme cases. And the few characters who are able to zone Amy out (eg. Ivy/SeongMina) can't keep someone like Sophitia out despite the latter having an equally short sword. And playing keep out with someone like Ivy ain't easy either. They are the most technical characters in the game and their gameplan is very advanced, nothing like Clive.
In the end, it doesn't even matter..

I had to fight so many 300k plus prowess opponents just to get clive to tekken king. So many gods of destruction playing alts, it's insane.

Reina plays similar to Heihachi and she has slightly better frames on paper but Heihachi does like twice as much damage

Because of how it works, Soul Calibur is (mostly) not a keep out game, it's a lot more interactive than Tekken in fact. Amy's SCVI range is definitely worse than Clive's based on limb size and weapon size alone, but she can still pressure 90% of the SCVI cast. Range (especially pushback) only becomes an issue for her in extreme cases. And the few characters who are able to zone Amy out (eg. Ivy/SeongMina) can't keep someone like Sophitia out despite the latter having an equally short sword.
And playing keep out with someone like Ivy ain't easy either. They are the most technical characters in the game and their gameplan is very advanced, nothing like Clive.
