If you have small tiny ears GET THE HUAWEIS! THEY ARE AMAZING! The type of multipoint on the huaweis is the kind I thought multipoint was supposed to be and now I'm mad when any company doesn't do this version and has the nerve to say they have multipoint. Also the amount of times people have asked me if I have a new piercing when I have these on😂 and I have the purple ones! And these are people who got mad because I should have gotten a piercing with them because we have been friends for min 10 years 😂😂.
I thought the Tozo's were great, apart from the accidental touches, as you mentioned. I also agree that the sound on the c40i's is very dependent on the positioning. I also found them quite uncomfortable. I would only use this form factor if you can't get on with hook style.
Bought the Soundcore, TOZO and QCY Crosskey C30. Took back the Soundcore quite quickly. Very uncomfortable. Ears got very sore from wearing them. Had a friend have the same problem. Button is great. Sound wasn’t great. Same issue as one of the reviewers. I kept the TOZO. The lack of multipoint isn’t great. But I don’t worry about that at my factory job. Get plenty loud and the sound is quite good. Can wear my entire 8 hour shift no problem. The QCY at $36 are really good. Better like not as good the TOZO. But sound and loudness are comparable. Just as comfortable and have multi point control. I have 2 pair of these. One for work and one for home.
Yeah to me multipoint is an absolute must for a product like this. You're not relying on active noise cancellation and transparency mode so if it doesn't have multipoint it's practically featureless.
@ I like the controls on the Tozo better. The battery is better on the Tozo. The QCY are more comfortable. But they both are the most comfortable earbuds I’ve ever tried. The QCY have multipoint and the TOZO don’t. Which isn’t terribly important to me but it is quite nice to have multipoint. The sound is comparable between the two. TOZO might be a little better. You can’t go wrong with either one. The price is so similar that you can’t go wrong with either one
I went with the Tozos and I bought them as part of Prime Day so I saved 40%. For the price I paid I'm quite satisfied. Decent call quality and I can safely enjoy music, pod cast or my favorite stream while still being aware of my surroundings. No multipoint is a bummer but right now I'm not missing it.
nice review. this vid was recommended to me after i already decided to buy JVC HA-NP1T ($99.99) over the soundcore c40i. the main thing i wanted was physical buttons. and the jvc app got extra options. i wonder how you would rate the HA-NP1T. i think these style of headphones should be called ear cuffs. Ear clips makes me think of the ones that go around the top of the ear.
I have the JLab Flex and Soundcore C30i. The flex looses connection frequently and the equalizer doesn’t effect the sound enough to be satisfactory. The C30i work better for my preferences.
Eq set to custom, flat, boost the bottom 2 sliders a couple db and you should be around the same tonality as the Galaxy buds Fe in dynamic mode. Set the sliders the same as the balanced and boost the bottom slider by 2 and the second slider by 1 and your very near the reference Harman curve. Can adjust sliders for the 500-3k range to taste for voices, but these are pretty decent places to start.
I'm currently looking for an open earbud and my top two choices are huawei freeclips and the nothing ear open. Out of these two options what would you recommend? I will mainly use them in Bed/Sleeping and wearing under a helmet while skiing and biking. Which do you think fits my usecase better?
Got the tozo black Friday deal for like $30 they are my go to open bud, I was very surprised how good they sound I was expecting a drop off being open ear and there really isn't much, just get them.
@waynedexter like most buds they are a little flat out of the box, use the app and eq for what type of music you like and they are very good, they are my daily at work buds
Disappointing that mute isnt a standard feature on all earbuds. I have the (purple) freeclips thanks to your videos. This is the best style for around the house, mostly voice, content. Anything that can fall off is asking for trouble. Only problem with all these "true wireless" (where did that term go?) buds is the tiny batteries that wear down to unreliable levels. Very annoying when they die during a call.
I had a lot of doubts about their sound quality, I bought them, and with the equalizer settings of the Poweramp app, they were excellent, very good sound and great improvement in the bass, (for open headphones), it is an excellent value for money. my only complaint, the charging status screen is unnecessary, better would be wireless charging or bluetooth with multiple connection.
Got the bose in a sale for 13k rupees (150$), the buttons and the fit is a game changer. clip styles are the only style of earbuds suitable to me because no other in ear fits my ear, ever. and the hooks disturb my prescription glasses. I dont think any other pair comes even close to the bose package.
No way. They don’t do anything better than any other. Don’t even think about buying them. Get the Huwaei. If money is an issue go with the TOZO or one that I really like is the QCY Crossky C30. Don’t waste your money on the Bose
@@michael_c2 I think these are really going to gain in popularity in the next few years. A good innovation in earbuds. For me I’ll never buy in ear earbuds again. I tried on an old pair I had and as soon as I put it in I gave it 5 seconds and took them out. Knowing I’d never wear that style ever again

This type of earbud wont even offer transparency because of its open ear design. For the same reason ANC isn’t a feature that works with this design
@@Matt-fd9hc So the tozo are better than ur qcy?

hello! can you go more in depth on how they sound, and why the tozo seem slightly better? @@Matt-fd9hc
Easily freeclips. Sooo good . Well done Huawei .been using them for a very long time and they even added volume gestures
@@SibTiger33 Freeclips are amazing. Sound quality is superb and reliability best in class. Just pricey.

Just got the jlab flex for 25 for funsies, I definitely love how they work and I'll be looking for an upgrade since these are uncomfortable
8:30 nice one 🤭
@topic: Great comparison as always from you guys. I just love it. 🤩
Ugreen s3 and s5 pls
Add it to these list for comparison
Tozo are the best i got mines for just 29.99 totally in love of this tiny and comfortable and the battery last solid 8 hours a complete work day
You did not include the QCY Crossky c30 open earbuds, I think those are the best overall for their price, also with awesome colour options!
Always so well informed !!

Kinda confusing cos sleeping may work better with clip style and helmet with a hook style.

😅Hi got question about Baseus product?
What if the Bose and Huawei were the same price?
Still Huawei. Unless you don't care about call quality
Bose are $225 now, worth it?

@@Matt-fd9hcCrosskey is great. Good sound etc. But the control surface is poor. Much worse than Huawei.
When are you guys reviewing the QCY ones?
Nope
I have no idea how the "Wah-Way" pronunciation got popular.
Mandarin never drops the H. It is "Hua-Way". The H is emphasized if anything.
Pop.. pop.. popsicles, test test, testicles 😂
I don't know what I think about the cliptology era.
