  • Double trouble is one of many perdigon patterns. Perdigons are mostly attractors but this one is imitative as well. Double trouble stands for two hot spots that are there to attract fish.
One of the aspects of this video is to show how to tie slim and neat flies with consistency....
When fishing those flies use as small as possible and use as thin tippet as you can get away with.
    Hope you will enjoy it
    cheers
    Vladimir

Nice . I always fill the slot with UV , I think it looks better . Thanks for the video.

Thanks... I would usually do it for same reason as you. Plus i dont like water to enter below UV.... Its impossible to prevent it but we can decrease it.

Congratulations. I see you did add a material description despite your reluctance to tying. Very helpful.

@@Oholisfliesandfishing My mistake. Typo. Should have been “typing” not “tying” as I remember you said you didn’t like to type. So there weren’t material lists.

that's super useful. non fly fishing related shops can be great source of tools and materials. :)

I got my brushes in a Ebay-shop for Nails 💅, it is a micro applicator used to glue false Nails. Deer Creek sell it too but on small packages for a lot of money...

@@icedaft that's my point... So many resources out there and still too many people are stuck with brands. I use some hobby uv for my nymphs.... 3x more quantity for half the price

Why even put a tail on it? Does it catch more fish?

Looks prettier in my opinion. Doesnt have to do anything with catch rate.
If i was only after catching fish and not into tying too i would be making hares ears and pheasant tails exclusively.

What is the brush you are using to apply your resin? Can you provide a link? Really like your videos!

Thanks. Glad to hear that. The brush is some dental brush as I was told. Got it several years ago. Unfortunately I don't have a link. 🍻
