This is an awesome plugin, both the family and project parameter manager are incredibly useful tools that make it easier than ever to make custom schedules for actual elements in the model!! No more using Excel or AutoCAD to make schedules when we can do it through Revit automatically.

Hi, thanks for all the tools. Q - Is there a way to delete parameters from within families using the ParaManager tool?

5:16 Is there any way to set formula as parameter value while batch adding from Shared Parameter file to families in the project?
P.S. I am literally a fan of your work, thank you so much for your hard work guys!

Hi, thanks for the tools as always!
How does the Import Excel file work? What does the format of this need to be? I have Excel files set up in a way that Dynamo can import the data and apply parameters, but when I select "Import Excel File", I don't have any options.

Mitchell, you need first to export one parameter through ParaManager to get the Excel template file with the correct structure. Then you can insert the new data to create the new parameters 🙂 You may want to check our tutorials: diroots.com/tutorials/dirootsone/paramanager-revit-add-in-tutorials/

    Hello, a wonderful app
but is it possible to manage the shared parameter already inserted in a family, from the project and not from the family, example that I want it to become instance instead of type.

Julie, thank you! You can add parameters. To manage existing parameters, you need to open the family.

Are Tag Families excluded from the ParaManager tool? I'm not seeing any of my tags
