Thanks a lot for the great guide. I was very confused by all the extra unneeded cables. My only problem now is that I could not get the wheel steering controls to work with the unit, do you have an idea what I might have missed?
@@bassdealeraudio442 Yes, you are correct. I connected the one cable I was missing, and now AWC works with the head unit. Worth mentioning that even after connecting the cable, 8WC did not work until I went into infotainment settings (In the head unit) and programmed each button to correspond to a certain functionality in the infotainment settings screen (Like lowering and rising the volume). Thanks a lot for the help.
@@bassdealeraudio442 My unit however didn't fully fit the bay, and it is sticking out about half a centimeters (0.2 inch) and I'm not sure why. All other measurements (Width and height) fit 100%. I just wonder if you had this problem with the one you installed? (My car and my head unit look exactly like the one in the video)
very good video, I have the same car and I bought the same radio as the one in the video, but when trying to install it the plugs are not good. The radio that came standard was a tomtom, I don't know if it is because I have a different standard radio that the connectors will also be different.
