প্রতিটি গাড়িতে একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ও অপরিহার্য বিষয় হল গাড়ির ব্রেক।ব্রেকিং সিস্টেম একটি গাড়িকে অনেক ধরনের বিপদ আপদ থেকে রক্ষা করে থাকে।সঠিক সময়ে সঠিকভাবে গাড়ির গতি কমানো বা নির্দিষ্ট স্থানে দাঁড় করাতে সাহায্য করে এই ব্রেক সিস্টেম। প্রাচীনকালের ঠেলাগাড়ি থেকে শুরু করে বর্তমানে সব ধরনের গাড়িতেই ব্রেক সিস্টেম ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে।ব্রেকিং সিস্টেম সম্পর্কে হয়তো আমাদের পুরোপুরি ধারণা নাও থাকতে পারে সেই জন্য সকল চালক ভাইদের ব্রেকিং সিস্টেম সম্পর্কে অবগত করার জন্যই আমার আজকের আলোচনা।বিভিন্ন গাড়িতে বিভিন্ন ধরনের ব্রেকিং সিস্টেম ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে, ব্রেকিং সিস্টেম সাধারণত আমরা ছয় ধরনের পেয়ে থাকি।১/মেকানিক্যাল ব্রেক সিস্টেমঃএ ধরনের ব্রেক সিস্টেমে চালক যখন ব্রেক প্যাডেলে চাপ দেয় তখন বিভিন্ন মেকানিক্যাল লিংকেজ এর মাধ্যমে কাজ করে থাকে,যেমন সিলিন্ড্রিক্যাল রড,ফাল্ক্রাম,রিটার্নিং স্প্রিং, ইত্যাদির সাহায্যে ব্রেকের শক্তি ব্রেক শু তে যায় আর ব্রেক সু ব্রেক ড্রাম এর সাথে সংযুক্ত হয়ে চাকার গতি কমিয়ে দেয় এবং চাকাকে দাঁড় করাতে সাহায্য করে। মেকানিক্যাল ব্রেক আবার দুই ধরনের হয়ে থাকে,যেমন ড্রাম ব্রেক ডিক্স ব্রেক।আগের যুগে মেকানিক্যাল খুব জনপ্রিয় ছিল এখন আস্তে আস্তে এই ব্রেক বিলুপ্তির পথে।২/হাইড্রোলিক ব্রেক সিস্টেমঃএ ধরনের ব্রেক সিস্টেমে এ চালক যখন ব্রেক প্যাডেলে চাপ দেয় তখন ব্রেক মাস্টার সিলিন্ডারে থাকা ব্রেক অয়েল এর প্রেসার তৈরি হয়ে ব্রেক ক্যালিবারে যায়,ব্রেক ক্যালিভারে থাকা ব্রেক শু এর মাধ্যমে ব্রেক ডিক্স বা ব্রেক ড্রাম কে আটকে দিয়ে চাকা কে দাঁড় করাতে সাহায্য করে।হাইড্রোলিক ব্রেক ছোট ছোট গাড়িতে ব্যবহার করা হয়ে থাকে। ৩/এয়ার বা নিউমেটিক ব্রেক সিস্টেমঃএ ধরনের ব্রেক সিস্টেম এ চালক যখন ব্রেক প্যাডেলে চাপ দেয়,ব্রেক ডুয়েল বাল্ব এ এয়ার প্রেসার তৈরি হয়ে ব্রেক বুস্টারে যায় ব্রেক বুস্টার এ থাকা এস স্ক্যাম এর মাধ্যমে ব্রেক শু কে বিকশিত করে ব্রেক ড্রাম ও চাকাকে দাঁড় করাতে সাহায্য করে।এয়ার ব্রেক খুব শক্তিশালী একটা ব্রেক, তাই সব ধরনের বড় বড় গাড়ি গুলোতে এই ব্রেক সিস্টেম ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে।৪/ইলেকট্রিক্যাল ব্রেক সিস্টেমঃএ ধরনের ব্রেক হাইব্রিড গাড়িতে ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে, চালক যখন এক্সেলেটর ছেড়ে দেয় তখন এই গাড়িতে থাকা মটরের ট্রান্সমিট বন্ধ হয়ে যায়।কিন্তু চাকার ঘূর্ণনের ফলে মটর ঘুরতে থাকে এবং তা থেকেই ইলেকট্রিসিটি জেনারেটর হয়। এরফলেই ব্রেকিং সম্পন্ন হয়। ৪/ভ্যাকুয়াম ব্রেকিং সিস্টেমঃএধরনের ব্রেকিং সিস্টেম এয়ার এবং ব্রেক অয়েল এর সাহায্যে সংঘটিত হয়।এটি একটি পুরানো পদ্ধতি যা আগে ট্রেনে ব্যবহার করা হত।৬/ম্যাগনেটিক ব্রেকিং সিস্টেমঃএধরনের ব্রেকিং সিস্টেম স্থায়ী চৌম্বকের মাধ্যমে গাড়িকে দাঁড় করাতে সাহায্য করে।এই পদ্ধতি ঘর্ষণহীন একটি পদ্ধতি, এই ব্রেক খুব দ্রুত কাজ করে। আমার ভিডিও ও লেখাটা দেখে যদি আপনার ভালো লেগে থাকে তাহলে আমরা চ্যানেলটা সাবস্ক্রাইব করবেন প্লিজ।Each vehicle is an important and essential subject.
