The future are the androids...after humanity disappears, they start to rule in the whole world. They are immortal, they dont need food, they dont care about gravity, radiation, air, wind...time. They need only energy and there are stars everywhere as source of energy.
This movie is a modern masterpiece. Shame it didn't do well.

That’s the interesting part of the story in Blade Runner, it isn’t about cool sci-fi stuff and space what not it’s about a persons identity and humanity. That what makes Blade Runner a masterpiece

Two of the most emotional scenes from those we wouldn't call human.
Memories, even ones that aren't ours. Still have meaning to us. It is what makes us human.

I totally regret not catching this movie when it made theaters. I thought it would flop in today's age of bad reboots and nostalgia pandering. Boy, was I wrong!
Well it did flop financially, but my god what a film... Watched it 5 times in theaters.

Being half replicant meant that she had a compromised immune system and had to be put in there
She is also the girl from k's wooden horse memory
I think she was kept hidden intentionally by the rebels, the immune system was just a cover up story (which she was not aware of)
They planned to reveal her when they were ready to make a move
Deckard's/Rachel's daughter. She just worked in the dome is how I took it, creating memories for replicants.
