"A La Mode" is used in modern American English as a culinary term to mean served or garnished with ice cream.
That is why I missed that question. 😁

45/50 got killed by the logos section. Special commendation for putting the polygraph where it belongs: in the pseudo-science category.
Are you ever amazed at the nonsense people are eagerly buying into? Don't feel alone. My score on the Logos section was the astounding total of one correct answer.
Interesting thing about the polygraph (and apologies if this is in bad taste)... But did you know that if you clench your sphincter while answering a question during a polygraph test, it will always register as true..?

Most people I know here in the US don't refer to braised beef that has been marinated in red wine; "a la mode"... This is a term we use simply for a pie with ice cream. Still I love the quiz!!

Just wondering if it might be possible to vary the background music a little though, rather than having the same music all the way through the quizzes, which gets a little repetitive?

Uhh, A la Mode means to be topped with Ice Cream (in the cooking world).
The term itself just means "in the manner of" or "fashionable". Just because in the US "a la mode" is used in one way does not mean that the French suddenly changed the recipe for boeuf a la mode.
