There two full moves for that. One is f,f+2~1+2~b(hold) This cancels the move, which cancels the first attack as well as the throw shift of 1+2. The second is f,f+2~1+2, which is a throw shift from f,f+2. It's just part of Drag's arsenal.
Namco out did themselves with this game. Really good looking game, awesome customization, the maps are beautiful, and the game is fun for everyone from beginners to pros.
SCENE 1:- Joker welding a scythe(Dragunov), Gangster welding a sledgehammer(Bryan) Place: Electric Fountain Joker doing his own business. Gangster was drunk. Saw Joker and picked a fight. The victory went to the drunk Gangster.
From all the characters that i have used, Bryan is my top character because i liked his fighting style. His style is simple but somewhat powerful. I respect him very much. I also analysis, recognized and adapted some of his movesets whenever i went training at the martial art gym. What im trying to say is: Bryan will always be my favourite tekken character.
SCENE 2:- Armoured Soldier with scissored hands(Dragunov), Gangster welding a sledgehammer(Bryan) Place: Electric Fountain Armoured Soldier saw Joker was ass beaten by Gangster. He was so pissed. Victory went to Armoured Soldier with flawless rounds.
I never said the game was unbalanced, in fact I think the tiers are not too significant, but they are there and truly shine at high level play over a significant period of time. And you don't really get to see how super powerful Bryan's taunt is till you watch Knee or Mr. Naps use him. That move pushes him into top 3, IMO.
@Tr1GuNM4x1xuM His play style has changed dramatically since the days of Tekken 3. He has always been good at whiff punishing / utilizing JFSR and that stays true in T6. Regardless of what I say about him, he is still my favorite character. I am looking forward to what they give him in TTT2.
@stellarever19 I meant 1,2 Or just 1 for that matter. The left jab of Bryan is his best weapon imo. Of course you can not abuse it like a noob but I've seen spots in this game right here where he is abusing D/F 2,1 and loosing rounds because of it. Also he catches the quick jab 1 but then again he goes D/F 2,1 and every time it gets blocked. In those spots it would have been better imo if he went directly 1,2 or even 1,2,3 once or twice. I know it's more risky, but sometimes risk pays off...
@DaTekkenGod You are right but poeple who play as Bryan tend to be so aggresive that you can't throw a punch without being hit in the process. I played 2 poeple (in a row) who used Bryan. The first was super aggresive and he pwnd me. I sucked then but I'm a little better now.I know someone who can use Draganov really well. If I remember correctly, he ended my 8 win streak that morning. Those guys playing in the vid (especially Bribrimaru) are very good.
I would have liked to see Dragunov win, he did play well (Nobi), but the other guy was better on the day. I use Dragunov as a character and can do pretty well, I almost got one of his 10-hit combos sorted - yeah nothing to brag about but I don't own the game, I only play it in town which is rare. : \ Favourite move is the one where you tackle them and bash their face in, very brutal. ^...^ This was a good fight, Brian used the walls to his advantage alot more is how he got the wins I think. :]
@Gonbebe yeah dude u say it...iam also looking forward od tekken tag tournament 2..i got the list of his new moves..some changes are really fundemental and the new attacks are just looking over the top... i got an advise with hwo where u are able to break every block (works best on wall carriers) and attack with some real heavy damage.!!! if u really wanna know it... send me an om and ill be makin a tutorial vid ..just for you pal...you love tekken -i do = a great compilation in my opinion ;)
Nobi should use the counter more often. Cause thats somehow Dragunov's advantage. Not saying that he wasn't using Dragunov very well, just that with counter, people will think twice to attack :D
Actually Bryan is the best character in the game and some korean (Rain) players have said so also, Steve, Bruce, Law, Nina are the other top-5 characters. Mishimas arent high tier in BR except for DJ but he's not top 5.
@Tr1GuNM4x1xuM I am sorry if you took my post as an offensive one, I was just stating my opinion. Anyway, my opinion of Hwo still stands. Not that damage is everything, but he has pretty low damage juggles outside of JFSR and wall combos. He has some decent oki options after LFF ff+3 though. He definitely can't attack from every situation, that is one of his weaknesses. All you can really do for keepout is b+4 and 1,2,f+3. People can rush down Hwo all day.
yeh he doesnt have much offense well he does but u get readable easy cuz his moves are straight forward so u kinda cant really win on pure offense alone unless the other person is a noob u have to to counter attack any mistakes the other person makes and use half finish your moves to confuse rather than overwhelm your opponent so u can grab and do whatever else
Lol yea I didn't wanna say Lili because so many noobs use her, but they don't use her correctly. I think overall she is about even with Bryan, but her weaknesses like lack of tracking moves, lack of close range priority, etc keep her away from " Bob" tier. Heihachi and Jin are arguable, DJ is probably better then Bryan but it's close, but Kazuya is definitely better. I'd put Kaz in the top 5 with Law, Bob, Steve, and Lars
@Tr1GuNM4x1xuM I couldn't tell if you were being sarcastic or not lol. Law and Bruce are definitely great characters, but Hwo? He is decent in that he is capable of very high damage juggles (good for whiff punishing). Other than that he is very average. Many characters can rush him down all day and it is hard for him to do much, this coming from a longtime Hwo player.
@DaTekkenGod Tbh... you can't say some1 is better... You really can't in a game like this.. It's how you play as that character that makes him better than others.
@Tr1GuNM4x1xuM I have definitely seen some maddogjin matches, and I think he probably has the best Hwo. Any pro with any character is able to pull off amazing things. I guess my posts made it sound like Hwo was a bad character, that was not my intention. Anyway, good discussion.
@@Yeshua8608 wow so in nine years u havent 😨 I saw another comment saying its 1,1,2 and only works if they start punching with the 2 button (triangle) and only paul and dragunov can apparently but i havent try yet
@Gonbebe u can be a long time hwo player as u want..believe me..he is able to attack from nearly every posibble situation...he is definitly one of the top tiers in tekken.just have a look in his data frames and u claim yourself a long time player hwoarang -.-
@Gonbebe have ever saw a battle from maddogjin64? then you will understand how far pros can push hwoarang beyond our imagination.and i am still in the position that hwo is able to attack in every position..and to get to an higher level of mastering him..you really need time, pantience, a well known timing of his attacks and reflexes lkike a fucking animal! :D..try to rush hwo"all day long" in the hands of an real pro gonebe...i didnt say that hwo is invincible..but he is abnormal strong...
Ahhhhh... this video is so frustrating. The Bryan player is killing me. I mean how can you be a Bryan player and pretty much don't use LP/RP at all? That left right combo has much better tracking than the moves he is using and would have killed Dragunov in the close quarter game. Either way he is a good player but he shouldn't rely on U/F/RK that much, in a lot of situations it's useless...
Nice noob comment. Have you ever played Tekken past a button mashing level? If you did you would know that if you are good, really good, then ANY character you use will be competititive. You're the type of guy that I pick Mokujin and destroy you so you can't say anything besides the fact that you suck at the game. Try practicing more before you complain about a character, there are quite a few characters stronger then Bryan in this game. Law, Bob, Mishimas, Steve, etc.
I never said Julia is not good. Julia is a bulldog, straight up. Playing competent Julia players scares me. But like you said, she lacks good block punishers. Bryan is good to great all around, no weak areas. The taunt is what makes him S-tier.
@DaTekkenGod WTF are you talking about? There is no stronger move in the game than Bryan's taunt combination against the wall. Yes, the timing is hard but with this mechanic being existent for years it's not even a challenge for the pro players. And Bryan has always been a top character that is very strong, great all around moves and no stances. The taunt is just overkill.
You crazy, he has the d/b 3+4(i think thats the notation). Range may not be great but it hurts plus you cant block on reaction, KD on CH. You see Knee putting a hurting on ppl with that. Bryan has strong pokes and can get in and out pretty easy.
Julia does not have the good all around game like Bryan. And there is no comparison to Bryan's taunt into JU setup. But Julia scares, Bryan just pisses me off.
There two full moves for that. One is f,f+2~1+2~b(hold) This cancels the move, which cancels the first attack as well as the throw shift of 1+2. The second is f,f+2~1+2, which is a throw shift from f,f+2. It's just part of Drag's arsenal.

these 2 players are pretty on par and damn good powerhouse, they should make a great team
1:19 was fucking amazing
that first dragunov and the rest were the same?? totally different launchers and combos and style of attacking
IF only they had tournaments of this game in 2014
in such a superb contest...winning or losing doesnt make any difference
SCENE 2:-
Armoured Soldier with scissored hands(Dragunov), Gangster welding a sledgehammer(Bryan)

Armoured Soldier saw Joker was ass beaten by Gangster. He was so pissed. Victory went to Armoured Soldier with flawless rounds.
best bryan i've seen in a while. his okizeme game is awesome. just fearsome.
nice at 3:46
and what is Bryan doing at 1:20-1:24? strange moves..
This Dragunov is the sickest I've ever seen.

Oh, so people still had garbage opinions 10 years ago
now THAT'S how you play with Bryan! It's almost too easy online sometimes with him. Bryan Fury FTW!
Great matches and great vid.
