1. To avoid the mixture becoming oily, do not grind for too long, you can pulse in short bursts until cashew nuts are evenly ground to a fine powder
2. If the mixture is too dry and crumbly add ½ tsp. water
3. If the mixture is sticky, dust it with Icing Sugar
4. You can adjust sugar as per your liking
I tried your way, apparently it was too crumbly it did not come together when I added a little water it became messy. I kneaded it simply and it released so much oil that it wasn't workable. I dunno what to do now.

Coz cashew nut has natural oil in it. Which it releases when u knead.

My dough became oily and sticky now what u I do
Hi Shobha, keep the dough refrigerated for few hours, next time to avoid the dough becoming oily, do not grind for too long, you can pulse in short bursts until cashew nuts are evenly ground to a fine powder.
