Lord have mercy on my IQ... This is a well built boss I must say. Colours don't screw with my eyes unlike some **other bosses I know** but damn this is a complete madness.
It's a pretty good boss, aside from the two immense difficulty spikes that are "Danmaku Kaleidoscope" and "Twelve Syllable Seals". I almost gave up on this stage because I just could not get past those two without loosing all my resources. Thank god for Spell Practice. Colours can screw you up hard on the first boss spell.
I'm actually really sad official phantasm stages aren't a thing anymore, specially since there's many ways that the story could be expanded in one or a character having themselves explained. For example, in Touhou 18/Unconnected Marketeers, there could be one with Misumaru as a boss, explaining her connection to the Hakurei God, or in Touhou 17/Wily Beast and Weakest Creature, There could be one with Toutetsu, given she's the only matriarch of the animal spirit gangs who hasn't made an appearance yet. Sorry for the wall of text, I just needed to get this out.
@@stereoberryes Well, I'm sure if ZUN wanted to, he would make a phantasm stage again. I guess he just likes to explore characters more in spinoffs/stories/mangas, since single stage dialogues are pretty limited in that regard. Still, more stuff to play is always appreciated, even if it's just a remix of the extra stage.
