Later in the summer one reported Kyrie rode an elevator with one of the assistant coaches with his headset on without saying a word. 4 - Celtics plan to trade for Anthony Davis (or let New Orleans hold until the summer because they can't trade for him mid-season, but the Lakers can) played a big part in last season's locker room drama, which is noteworthy.

You ever think about how the whole early-season 2018 Celtics struggles were just so blown out of proportion? They were 25-17, just halfway through the season, and in a playoff spot, and they were having press conferences talks like 4:18. Kinda fucking weird.
I agree. People slept on the rest of the East going into that season though. They were supposed to be head and shoulders ahead of the conference according to fans. Hindsight is 2020 but they ended up winning almost 50 games in a “disaster” season 😂

As a long time Celtic fan, this is an accurate depiction of what we went through. A few things to add to the timeline:
1 - I remember seeing a First Take segment before All-Star break in which Stephen A said according to his 'sources', that Kyrie is doing all these to make it easier to leave Boston.
2 - Dinwiddie told reporters Kyrie called him and said 'New York might be fun next year' in DECEMBER 2018. Bobby Portis said in the summer that 'everybody knows' Kyrie and KD are going to Brooklyn.
3 - By the end of the season all Boston media members had stopped trying to pretend that they don't hate Irving, as it showed in their articles, especially after the infamous 'who cares' quote from Irving after poor shooting against MIL. Later in the summer one reported Kyrie rode an elevator with one of the assistant coaches with his headset on without saying a word.
4 - Celtics plan to trade for Anthony Davis (or let New Orleans hold until the summer because they can't trade for him mid-season, but the Lakers can) played a big part in last season's locker room drama, which is noteworthy.
