another thing you can do with avian corpses and really any organic things is you can use the autopsy table as a floren its a good source of food an other stuff you can strait up continue to break the stuff down to genetics and research points
Ace, i think there this types of upgrade tables at ancient gateways on space, you activate them with some sort of key and you get sent into somewhat of a challenge room and the end there is one of those upgrade tables, but i don't remember correctly.
i believe there's an upgrade station in the science outpost, you just need the mini sphere thing... and figure out the random combination to open the door

Well by default all characters have the same generic stats but if you use the Frackin Races mod then Florans are as follows. Can only eat meat, other food poisons them. Melee attacks consume Food. More energy when fed. Deal more damage when starved. Immune to electrocution. Gain additional Health and Energy in forests. + 5 HP + 20 Energy + 5 Damage + 20 Radiation Resistance + 25 Electric Resistance + 25 Ice Resistance - 20 Posion Resistance - 50 Fire Resistance [Night] Slowly consume Food -10% Health -30% Energy [Day] Food Regeneration Health Regeneration (effect is much slower when underground or if not in direct sunlight) [Weapons] Bow: +20% Crit Damage, +12% Damage, 5% Increased running speed, -0.1s Draw Time Spear / Dagger: +8% Damage, +3% Crit, 3% Chance of poison strike. When full, you can swing your weapon faster. Floran weapons: +2% Crit Chance So yeah. Florans are a bit overcomplicated.
