I am beyond thrilled to have found you, brouche is my #1 goal this year. I just ordered your book and will certainly watch all your videos. Absolutely love the shawl you are wearing and that will be my graduation project goal lol
Yay!! So happy to have you here, Laurie!! Thank you so much, I truly hope my book and videos can help you on your brioche journey. Sizzle Pop is a fab goal!! xx
Thank you for the 'Introduction' video Lesley, so lovely to meet the personality behind the designer. I am a newsletter subscriber, but have yet to start my Rebel2 shawl, love the pattern, but I went into a bit of a knitting funk in the last 18 months, and am slowing working my way back to using my knit brain power. I am knitting fine gauge simple lace shawls at the moment, as it is repetitive and soothing, and I can swap between 2 projects, and I am in no hurry to finish, after earlier in the year completing an exploration of short row stripes in triangular shawls in heavy fingering weight hand dyed yarns. I have the Nancy Marchant books and had intended to start the willow scarf in mohair late last year after completing some other projects, chickened out and then purchased your Rebel pattern. The call for 2 colour brioche is strengthening, so now the hunt for the right yarn for the project is becoming a priority. Love you work, and look forward to checking in with you on TH-cam. Kerry
Hi Kerry, thank you so much for watching!! I completely understand that knitting funk. When it hits, it's real. And important to listen to it and not rush back in. I hope you are well, and no rush at all on your Rebel shawl! I look forward to seeing it when you start. xx
@@knitgraffiti thanks for the encouragement. I forgot to mention that I live on the West Coast of Australia, and the weather is Mediterranean, no need for very heavy knitwear here, but The squish of brioche is appealing, I just need to keep the yarn at a lighter weight, I am an experienced knitter, so yarn substitution and adjusting needle size and number of pattern repeats is not a concern. I hope to start swatching for my Rebel in 3 or 4 weeks, when it is the chilliest weather and my summer shawls are off the needles. Have fun with your boys, take care.
@@kerryrandall6618 I completely understand that. I live in South Texas, so the weather is quite similar to where you live (maybe not exactly, but it's warm for most of the year).
I've been following you for years, so great to meet you here! Can't wait to see what you have to show us! Congratulations on starting your podcast!
Thank you so much, Mirjam!! So happy to meet you here as well. :)
