    They have some interesting lighting that I had considered. Mostly for underwater uses. Doing underwater portraiture has always been difficult if you want to set up lighting. We used the old underwater can lights. I still have a few and then I used scrims. Still to this day their is no powerful underwater flash units as it's not a big market. Good luck to Light and Motion. They make some cool stuff.

      Thanks for your comment! I heard a lot of good things about their underwater lights as well. I never tried them because I only float on the water and can never go down there :)) But of course they are made for professional underwater photographers and divers. Reflex S is also high quality and solid.

      @yuliyapanchenko  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Moktan! I think only the CLX series shows lumens. They recently updated the Reflex firmware and now it only shows stops. I liked Ln better.

    Hi Yuliya! I am in Spain and I want to buy an Stella, almost all my equipment is Elinchrom, so here are my doubts: 1) This Stella works with Elinchrom I have a octobox rotalux 135cm and a 70cm beauty dish. 2) I see in the website Bowens and Prophoto stand adapter, Do I need for my Elinchrom? 3) Do you tested with your optical snoot? I don't know if will be too hot, I have a Pixapro optical snoot with a canon 1.8 in the front and I don't want to lose this lens, is cheap I know, but was my 1st lens!. 4) To charge just I need an adaptor for USB or will be better if I buy a power cable for Europe? Thanks in advanced, love you!

    • @yuliyapanchenko
      @yuliyapanchenko  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Valeria! Thank you for all your questions. Stella pro has the CLX lights that are only continuous lights, which come with the charging adapter and fits all Elinchrom Q speeding's. The Stella Pro Reflex S is their new product that is a continuous light and strobe light. It comes with USB-C cables, which you just connect it to a charging box. If you us a 100w power box, then you can just run in directly from the power source with full power. So as long as you have the Quadra speed ring, you won't need an adaptor for it because they fit Elinchrom and they work with the Elicnhrom trigger. I tested it with the snoot and I didn't run into any issues. The lens is too far for the light to burn it. My smooth lens is extremely cheep and my snoot is cheap too. I will share the snooth results once they are edited. In general, I am so happy with the light and the results. I hope I was able to answer all your questions and if I didn't send me a direct massage on Instagram @believeinboudoir and I can send you a phone video of the setup with Elinchrom soft box.

      No it’s not a paid ad :) I mentioned at the end that we are going to do a test shoot in the next video because this video was overwhelming with new information. I promise, I will do at least 3 shoots at least with Reflex and show the behind the scenes and final images. We will do a shoot at a fighting, a boudoir shoot, and a. Portrait or editorial shoot 😜 Thanks for the comment.

    I bought a Reflex S, hoping to use it at 20fps. But there is an issue with the Olympus OM1 at rates higher than 10fps, so that's the limit. I also have to use a non-Olympus Godox trigger; otherwise the Olympus camera won't hit even 10fps. Since I also shoot Nikon, that's not a big issue. If I buy more, they will be Reflex's to save money. But still, running this at 10fps for fill on action shots is really great. They don't put out a lot of light, which is why I'm thinking on getting some more. I do have a couple of issues. The optics are loose fitting; they don't tighten or lock, so I'm always worried about one coming loose and falling out. Hasn't happened yet, but I have to be extra careful just in case. Gelling is important for evening work. They sell glass filters (expensive, to be expected) but you have to use them with the barn doors, and that's a pain. For normal use, I just tape some large gels on the optics. Would be nice if they had an adapter to get the gels out from the optic and away from heat. Also, when using the modifier mount (I use the Bowens), the optics won't fit. Not an easy solution to gel them in a modifier.
    But these can run of most PD power units, and I got the AC adapter but you can also use other appropriately powered adapters.

      @yuliyapanchenko  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello John! Thank you for the feedback. That’s weird the optic falls. Do you screw it once you push it in? You have to push in and turn it to the right. If it’s an issue, talk to StellaPro. They are extremely friendly, nice, and helpful. Let me know the results please.

      @johnisaacs5127 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@yuliyapanchenko I got a Reflex yesterday, with another on order. The Optic mount is stiffer on the Reflex, so I'm less worried about it falling out. They really should have a more positive locking, at least something like a bayonet lens hood, but a button would be better. I've contatacted Stella Pro about this now that I see the difference between my Reflex S and Reflex.

      UPDATE: I sent the Reflex S back under warranty. After they checked it out, they are sending me a replacement. In the meantime, I got a chance to check the Reflex with a Nikon Z8 and Godox X1Pro-N trigger, and it easily shot 10fps at 1/1000s shutter speed. Wish I had the Reflex S; would have like to verify 20fps.

    You mentioned Godox. I'm I to understand it works with these triggers? Also, yes I would like to see how it works in action. I cover sports. One last thing how long do your codes last. A thousand dollars is a bit to have at the moment.

      Hey Thomas, how you doing? Yes it works with Godox triggers. Just have to change the wireless mode to “G” for Godox. I am taking it in action hopefully next week. Check your email by the way for the offer I sent you.
