The A8 (2019 model) is outdated already in terms of software because the support from Samsung already ended. I personally prefer this A9 because of the latest software, the downside is that it doesn't have an SPen feature, only the S9 and FE series have SPen which is more expensive than the A series. But overall, both tablets are still great for students on a budget like viewing files, digital note-taking, and digital art.

I owned a8. It's great. The pen stylus is thin but not easily slipped, it has compartement inside the tablet. When clicked, stylus menu pop on screen. Personally, I look huawei 8 inch if there any. Their screen is so good in my opinion and the speaker rather loud.

Just search up styles for tablet and it’s the one that looks like an Apple Pencil with a disk at the top as the Samsung a9 doesn’t work with the stylus. The stylus on this tablet works as if it’s your finger that’s why it works hope this helps
