So if someone is confused we now consider them as Karen's?đ
I believe it's the little comments (that could be taken as snarky or rude) she added in like not being able to eat a bakery's treats or selling slimes in a bakery not making sense. It's also not so much the comments themselves, but the fact she said these things after being told that it's a slime business multiple times.
â@@RandomPerson-ti7qx maybe she didn't know what a slime was and thought it was some kind of treat, and then was confused as to how you'd sell a "treat" at a bakery, but it isn't edible. She should've looked it up, given that she was on her phone or computer, since she was contacting the business, but it was still just a small, old and confused person mistake, I'd say
@@starlight8115 Well I don't consider her confusion being a Karen tbh. I'm merely stating why people may have called her one. Personally, I think the tts may have made her sound rude/snarky about it which totally changes the entire phone call's tone.
she is trying to make her feel bad and send her free stuff. And she is saying rude stuff to point out they apparently sell cupcakes.
edit: ohh i understand
â@FairyQueen idk, i feel like the, "you were selling cupcakes last week" comment could've been honest confusion, especially since the machinery being used in the video does look like something you might find in a bakery, especially if you don't have first hand experience with slime making or the internals of a bakery. And as someone above pointed out, she could've thought that slime was a type of candy, which could be made even more plausible since she has a child and has probably seen edible slime candies.
I have to agree with the original commentor, this woman seems confused and maybe a touch impatient/irritated, but certainly not a karen.
Not sure why sheâs called a Karen when she didnât even do what Karens do which was cause unnecessary harassment or throw a tantrum. Sheâs just confused.
It depends on how it was said. I could see Karen being used.
Exactly what I thought
â@Twix is God and so are Macerators I cannot tell if you are being serious or not đ
@Twix is God and so are Macerators Slime was always fun and is not a new thing. Though I'll agree it does appear more popular now than in my childhood. I do believe it's been popular for at least some time. A few years, I'd say, considering my younger cousins around 16-17 now have been making it for a while.
@Twix is God and so are Macerators Wtf are you on about? Just because you donât like it doesnât mean it needs to be completely abolished. I donât like a lot of trends and fads but that doesnât mean that they should be abolished, how is you not liking slime any different?
âWhat cupcakes do you have available?â
â *HaUh?!* âđđđ
âdoesnât make a lot of sense to meâ
âyou donât make sense to meâ
You can't call her a Karen if she doesn't understand.
I think it's because she argued that it's a bakery and how things don't make sense despite being told multiple times that it's a slime business. Especially with the "why sell slime in a bakery, makes no sense to me." comment made.
@@RandomPerson-ti7qx its a fake story
@@L4DY_N01R and that has to do with my comment... How?
I said why people would believe someone to be called a Karen, nothing more. If anything, this story is an example of what people label others in situations like this.
Not only this, but you have zero clue or proof that it is or isn't true. Many in the comments say it's plausible (based on their time in customer service) or say it's unlikely (due to this being a very typical "Karen conversation"). Those are understandable as they give room for interpretation and possibly being incorrect, but to straight up say something is false, one often needs proof if they want to be believed.
@@RandomPerson-ti7qx the âkarenâ was asking different questions every time, she was just confused, not everything has to be about you
@@bottle3124 Here's my question... Which comment of mine are you responding to? Because I'm highly confused on the "not everything has to be about you" comment when I never stated anything was about me in this.
The first one I placed was explaining why some people *might* be thinking about why she was a Karen. Do I think she was being one? No, I believe she was a little snarky (due to tts likely) and just confused, which is why I can only guess why people said she was being one. I merely placed it there because I was hoping to talk about it calmly with op just because I, and the op if they choose to, have the choice of doing that on the internet.
If it was the second one, the person literally @ me to tell me it was a fake story. I don't know how that means it had nothing to do with me. Don't people usually @ people to discuss things? Or is that not how it works now? In any case, that's why I asked what it had to do with my comment and told them they need proof to be taken seriously.
TL;Dr. I never made it about me, but it seems like you want to for some reason? I don't think she's a Karen but I'm free to tell both sides if I wish. And someone @ me can easily cause me to respond as it's a conversation I'm ok with starting.

my mom's a self employed baker, ain't no way a small business can make 300 cupcakes in a week. sadly because of shows like the Great British bake off, people think it takes 45 minutes to make things like that. really it takes 45 minutes to bake, already the whole time gone, over an hour to cool, then decorate it, around 30 minutes for a simple design or a few hours fr a less simple design, then let it set in the fridge, preferably overnight, and you're finally done, and it took over a day.

I've been confused plenty of times but I don't think I've told businesses they shouldn't exist due to my own confusion and I don't think I've ignored clear explanations cause of iit either.
okay, so since everyone kept saying "she's confused" the creator already have mentioned it a lot of times they aren't a bakery, and plus, Karen isn't just used for throwing a tantrum nor saying "I NEED TO SPEAK TO YOUR MANAGER!!"
Do you know how stupid a literal slime shop sounds though. Such a brain rot trend being the only item of a shop.
Cute slime â¨
People, look, she wasn't simply confused. The woman was like: You ARE a Cupcake Shop. You HAVE a Bakery. Why do you NOT make CUPCAKES?
She was told several times it's a SLIME SHOP and CHOSE to DISBELIEVE it. She IS a Karen.
Y'all acting like she wasn't a Karen even though she started to go off on the fact that she thought it was a "bakery" . She probably said more shit in the emails
She's not a Karen. I'm so disappointed in humanity because everyone keeps calling people "karen" just because they're not perfect or simply make mistakes. OR someone who doesn't know ANYTHING about this ridicculous slime trend and that there's a whole shop with them. She was very confused, you can tell that just by reading these replies. You don't know who she is and how old she is, for not getting the slime thing. She clearly didn't know what to do
@Monique Rosewood exactly! You're absolutely right, I didn't think about the culture
â@@TomiokaGiyuu2518oh I'm so happy there is more people with common sense in this world đ I thought I was loosing hope in humanity. All these slime shops do is cause drama and be waaayyy too extra just to get their business more coverage and I feel so bad for those who aren't considered "perfect" to these shops.
@@NelehLove9313 yeah same. That's something I can just shake my head about
You ever see some of the hyper realistic food slimes? They are confusing
She's not a Karen she's just a boomer
Sheâs neither she was just confused.
I just ordered from yall im so excited to get the slime and yall are the best!
I am a big fan of youuâ¤â¤â¤
"so how slow are you gonna be today?"
this karen: yes
The Karen behaviour I believe is asking for 300 cupcakes with a weeks notice
300 cupcakes is a normal order. 7 days is more than enough notice for a commercial baker
@@politereminder6284 but they arenât a commercial shop. Baking or other wise
@@happybirthdayravenicantswim Then say so. Don't accuse a customer of not knowing your capacity unless you tell themđ¤ˇââī¸. Don't accuse a customer of being a Karen for simply trying to place a large order. đ
@@politereminder6284 you sound like a Karen. They usually miss the point completely
@@happybirthdayravenicantswimConsidering that you seem not to know what a Karen is. đ¤ˇââī¸Meh
Just because she thought you sell cupcakes doesn't mean shes a karen
âI need 300 cupcakes for-â
Lemme help you rephrase that
âI need diabetic cupcakes for-â
Karen: I need 300 cupcakes
****NO One turns up****
There not a Karen
A commercial bakery can do it. Publix Will make it if you give 24 hours notice.
are we gonna ignore how she needs 300 cupcakes the only way this would even make sense is if her sons friends have diabetes or heâs friends with the whole schoolđđđ
Even if you were a bakery asking for 300 cupcakes to be made in one week is a lot to ask. She would need to give the ppl more than a week for that bc they likely have other customers who also need things as well
If their a so called bakery business it shouldn't be hard to make 300 cupcakes
Everyone: sheâs just confused
Me: THREE HUNDRED CUPCAKES!!!!!! THAT CAN FEED A SMALL VILLAGE
Welcome back to "conversations that happened" This is episode 28, I'm a Capybara and let's get unto it!
Yeah, you seem more like a Karen for not explaining about your product to a potential customer. She was obviously confused because my dad would have said the same thing. And it would be due to his confusion, not because he's being a Karen. Thank you for letting me know not to support you.
Yeah I agree the women was just confused and not a Karen, but she did explain what the product was. She was also confused when someone asked for cupcakes when she sells slime. She probably just labeled her as a Karen for clicks and or to prevent confusion over the video.
If anyone is a Karen here it seems to be you.
Edit: also she isn't exactly a potential costumer THE WOMEN WANTED BAKED GOODS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. And honestly you using that language makes me more inclined to believe your a Karen.
@@CharlotteEveline fr, people are saying that requesting for 300 cupcakes makes them a karen. like huh?? they were asking politely and stuff, plus that DOES NOT make them entitled to be a Karen or what.
True. Hey I wouldâve been confused as well donât get me wrong.. đ
She was told and still kept insisting, that's Karen behavior for sure đ
@@iamNell help whatđ she was just confused, people canât ask questions now?? she would be a karen if she was insisting unreasonably in a rude way, which she wasnât, did you even watch the video?
