- Our lovely friends Hollow Coves, an indie-folk band from Australia, once played our festival - they also just released their new single "Evermore". They sent us a two-song-set for our From Home series. The songs are called "Evermore" and "Home".

Cardinal Sessions was founded in the summer of 2010. They challenge the classic music video and try to replace impersonal footage with immediate and emotional snapshots.
Bands from all over the world with their different genres present their songs reduced to the essence of the musical spectrum - only vocals and unplugged instruments. Due to the spontaneous live-aspect and the approach to record every song without any additional rehearsal, songs emerge that often sound significantly different to their album versions.
We film on locations that the musicians mostly choose by themselves: remote places, frequented streets, parks, woods, fields, bars; nothing is impossible. We have accomplished our goal if the location fits well to the background of the music we and the artists want to present. But our most important purpose is that there are no borders: we film everything that we like, no matter how popular, famous or also unknown a band might be. It is still important for us to support local talents and it will always stay part of our concept.
The Cardinal Sessions team can also be booked: for example to film short documentaries of album recordings, studio recordings or live concert moments that you want to capture.

The first time I heard this song brought me to a memory of a person who had all of me. Dated at 18 years old. like many you take different paths.. 30 years later at a Victorian Stroll I walk out of a store, and there he was. He said I seen you walk in. I guess my expression must have said what my words did not. before I could even say Hi...he said 30 years I waited to say I am sorry, you were and are my what if. If I could go back and not go the road I did...who knows (as he called me by my last name) what we would be doing today. (called him by his last name) whispered in his ear, you will always be my forever stepped back and said fate walked in today so I could finally tell you that. Kissed him and I walked away. Some people will always have a "evermore" person. Just lately I have seen him after a couple years..he is engaged. but when he looks my way we both know.
This has become my favorite song...
After i found another acousic artist (Ben Howard) i didn't think I'd find artists equally as amazing amd then i found Hollow Coves.
Ears are so blessed with these masterpieces.
