Why be just disappointed off road? When you can be disappointed on road too.

Your diaries are better than Netflix.

Closed roads are a welcomed challenge. That's the adventure, go through.

Great video(s) Mark. I heard about you when I was listening to Jimmy Lewis's 4T #38 when you called in. I am from Reno and also have a CRF250 Rally. Next time you are up this way reach out. Garage, tools, food, trail advice, whatever. Glad you enjoyed the region. It really is spectacular. 👍

Awesome segment! I live in Portland, OR and visit Reno once or twice each year. I gotta get back into dual sport bikes again. One area that seems great riding is the are up and around Virginia City. Thanks again for the video and cool channal!

There's a series of trails and lakes around Jackson Reservoir. 17 miles north of Truckee off hwy 89. Give them a try next time.

Cool video and nice drone shots of Lake Tahoe. There are a bunch of places to ride depends on what kind of riding you want. If you start in Truckee you can take the 89 North and hit some trails near Boca Reservoir, Prosser Creek Reservoir and Stampede Res. Some of the trails would be good for bigger ADV bikes but if you stop by Prosser Hills OHV that is more fit for smaller dirt bikes, some good single tracks there. If you took the 89 North and kept going there are some nice street twisties all the way to Lake Almanor. Some other good twisty street highway roads are the Highway 88 West of Kirkwood and Highway 4 West Markleeville. If you took these roads west you will find a bunch of cool small towns that have some breweries/wineries/restaurants etc.

hey Mark, amazing country and great bikes. A whole different enchilada than riding off road on dirt bikes. I'm heading to Baja in 2 weeks for 4 or 5 days of riding or less if my body doesn't hold out. the ankle gets replace in Dec. and I wanted to get in a ride before that happens. Anyway I've missed a bunch of your new videos and I will have to catch up. keep it up, love your choices in places to ride and your great photography.
