My partner just bought me this map. I've been having a lot of fun, just hard to keep myself invested while I'm still discovering where everything is, and honestly what's in the map. I've kept myself in the dark so far, and it's led to some awesome encounters - had a water buffalo charge me from behind while a black buck ran right into it😂 I didn't know either were on the map. Had a snow leopard hiss at me and that was pretty scary for the first time. The yaks are perfect and everything I've dreamed of. Still no tiger encounter but I have heard them! Just never seem to look tasty enough for them to attack me
This map is amazing. The very first Snow Leopard I shot was Melanistic. They look absolutely stunning with that variant. I have also pulled A diamond tiger, a Pseudo mela tiger, a diamond blue sheep, a diamond barasingha, an albino water buffalo, an albino hare, and a diamond yak. My friend has also pulled a diamond tiger off of my map. Absolutely nuts!

And we are the Canadian Kilted Yaksmen! I do wish the game devs would fix that loadout wheel bug that prevents you from changing weapon scopes. That bugs been there for like a year for me.

Hey Flinter, I was curious if you’re able to do a new beginner series, since your previous one could be outdated and there has been reworks to the animals in game, I’m also new to the game and want the best chance to be successful, and I want to do that by learning what I need from you, the best theHunter player in my opinion.

Flinter I doubt you willl see this but I was playing sunderputan for the first time today and my first tiger was a nine it was a diamond but when I was attacked it lunged at me and I walked backwards and didn’t die so idk if I got lucky or if that is a good idea to not die
I have Just now a few minutes ago hunted down a Gold melanistic Tiger after it killed me.. I cant believe my luck. I will never forget that Tiger jumping from the bushes as I was tracking a barasinha in the evening.
One thing I don’t understand in this game are the ballistics, the 308 has more penetration than the 7mm, but the 7mm can ethically take down class 9’s. I understand it’s a balancing thing cause the 308 is semi auto, but still. 7mm isn’t great for 9’s, but on a map like Nepal, its versatility is king so far in my opinion.

I’m on Xbox and it’s not even letting play multiplayer, keeps saying “matchmaking could not find a multiplayer session.Please try again.” And I highly doubt there’s no sundarpatan sessions
My first time playing the map the biggest disappointment is that there is no mountains, we are hunting blue sheep tahr and snow leopard below tree line, does no one at EW do the slightest bit of research?

7 PRS vs 308 win. Irl 7mm has more muzzle energy (3500 vs 2700) and more max range with 2k fps (790 vs 450). Maybe that's why.
