All I'm saying is don't be surprised if Dos Santos walks home from Eugene with a gold medal. Benjamin and Warholm have been having their fair share of issues this season. It's going to be between Dos Santos and Benjamin for gold unless Warholm Warholms.

Based on his times, but also since he beat Rai earlier in the season, I’d say Dos Santos should be the tentative favourite for gold going into the championships.

It would be hard for either of them to beat Dos Santos in Eugene.Warholm is recovering from a hamstring injury and Benjamin had a bout with Covid that he is still trying to recover from fully. May the best one win. I love a good race!
I think people forget that this guys flat speed is significantly faster than Rai and Karsten. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets the world record.
Very interesting to note is how he ran 12 steps between the hurdles from hurdles 3-7. Last year he did 12 steps a bit too, but only from hurdles 3-5. Nobody else in history has managed to do 12 steps in between for four hurdles in the same race. The only other person in history to attempt 12 steps in a race was Kevin Young, who did it from hurdles 3-5. Dos Santos with his unmatched stride might have the highest potential of any 400m hurdler in the world.
Yeah sorry but getting little suspicious, big steps from last season into this. Yes he got good times last season to, but was "dragged" towards those times by Warholm and Benjamin. and now he is flying down the track.
@@jkdure What’s suspicious about it? He’s 3 years younger than Benjamin, and his progression seems to be about 3 years behind. Are you saying it’s suspicious that a 22 year old athlete is improving? Because if you are, that’s very odd.
Since the world championship in Doha - 2019, Dos Santos and his coach have been studying and working hard to do 12 steps. You say suspicious because he's not an American athlete, right?
