Not at all. Deere makes good money on repair parts. Wes bought the used tractors so someone else will eventually have to buy new ones. Good resale value is important to overall prosperity for JD.
Hello Wes I want to thank you and Tim. My youngest son is thirteen and he's always been into video games and computer stuff but I had a hard time getting him outside or doing anything around the farm with me. But every since I showed him your videos and Tims now he's outside with me all the time. Because of you and Tim now he wants to start flying RC planes an he's always with me in the barn helping with the animals and he's now interested in learning about working on the tractors and whatever I'm doing. He really looks up to Tim you have done a good job raising your kids and it's good to see that you have a good relationship with all of them. So thanks again and keep the great videos coming.
I was raised on a farm and your videos are a true representation of life and the daily grind on the farm. In my opinion your channel is the best on TH-cam. So don't let the haters get to you.
The process of getting tractors from England to New Jersey was interesting. The haters of her filming can Piss off..she is doing fine..learning by doing! A pat on the back goes a long way in life😀Keep up the great videos, thanks from the great white north Canada
Tractors are not the luxuries of running a farm ... they are the critical tools of the trade and the limiting factor for how much you can get done in the field ... better to have more than you need and grow into their capacity than be constantly regretting that you can't get enough done
Wes…I’m really happy that you got IVT tractors. I bought a new 6215R with IVT earlier this year. Why not a bigger tractor? Because I have a considerably smaller operation then you. Everybody said ‘IVT’s are nothing but problems’, well I have had none. Not one issue! Its less fatiguing on me, better fuel economy, it drives better, has more power. I think its really exciting that you bought these two tractors. I bought a W235 from the Netherlands and saved a chunk of cash. I had little to no in-transit updates with the shippers, so I have an idea what you went through. Glad their safely on US soil!
As a retired farmer of 44Yrs I think youre doing the right thing so keep up the good work as you know what you want and need. What little ive seen ofTerica I think she's a Keeper👀😀🤠
It's a very proud moment for any Farmer when a tractor arrives on the Farm. Let alone two nice JOHN DEERES. Shows the Farm is going in the Right Direction. Well done Wesley and team.
Put a dozer blade on it and call it a Bull Dozer. I'm impressed! Looks like some great tractors. Thank for the great video's. I do enjoy all of them. Central Indiana
We like Teresa a lot. We also understand that there's a learning period. Everything is fine and we're sure things will get even better with time. Just keep the video's coming and we'll appreciate it. Best of luck with the new tractors, seeing them in the field earning their keep will be something to really look forward to.
Thank you Wes for hands on videos that aren't professionally produced. We are your guests not customers. The complainers are just granola enough to think they are customers. California land of granola....fruits, flakes and nuts is expanding. Looking forward to milling work.
hey Wes the way you chained those tractors down just fine... I have drove truck hauling one thing or another for 20 years I'm a mechanic now and really enjoy your videos keep up the good work bro
Terisa is good on the camera let her do her thing she will get better. Love the sound of the turbo that like music to your ears. congratulations Wes and many happy hours working them.
brilliant what you do mr pandy excellant pair of tractors we have run autopower transmissions for 10 yrs or even more and never had any bother thats heavy draft work
hell yes some badass John Deere tractors you got their. I'm a big John Deere fan and my family has been using them for 50+ years. Have fun with your new toys. 😊
I know what you mean about the smoothness of the ride in that 8530, we got ours new in 2009 and before that we only had our Magnum 275 (2007 model) and the ride difference between the two was incredible! the 8530 was so much better, most comfortable tractor dad and i have ever driven
Looking forward to seeing that 8530 in the field and your review of the IVT. I'd like to get a 8530 for planting, spraying and grain carting some day...
Nice. As far as the big tractors go my grandfather always said better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. Once again beautiful tractors.
Hi wes the reason the tractor makes that noise is the hydrostatic element of the gearbox I think it's a zf transmission like my duetz ttv7250 they call it active stop like engine braking but not engine braking they look nice hope have good runs with them cheers
Two great tractors there though, that 8530 is an absolute beast and I'm sure the 7530 will be very handy, the 8120 is a great big tractor but it is a little on the small side for the baler that 8530 will have no problems
i didn't catch the chain hook issue but other than that the chain down of tractors looked fine. i might have put the nose up on the upper deck to give a little more room between the two tractors. just wondering what these are destined for and what theyre replacing are destined for. loved the ending. the guys taking thier ladies for a ride
delivering new tractors was always a pain.. no steel to steel contact, we used rubber pads cut from old inner tubes between the tractors and chains.. depending on the customer and the weather, we even had to give 'em a bath so they'd show-up shiny
Congratulations on your two new beautiful JD's! I salute your thinking outside the box and buying your tractors in the UK. Good business move, dollar is super strong vs sterling, big business leverage themselves this way all the time.
Personally, I like the way she places herself to always catch the most of the action going on. She seems to have the skills to catch the bigger picture.
Nice Deeres! Don't know if anyone's told you this, but never use the wheel of the driving stick as a brake! Most autopower issues are caused by that! As there was also conversation about transmissions, i'm going to take part to that also. Fendt, Massey Ferguson, Jcb and Valtra use same style transmissions, Fendt, Jcb and Massey trannys being the same and Valtra have their own version. Great for fuel economy but they don't pull as well as the others. Vario can be considered as a mainly hydraulically driven transmission. Deere, Cnh, Claas, Deutz etc. Use trannys that are modified zf Cvt:s, altough Cnh started making their own transmissions, they work pretty much the same. These transmissions use mainly mechanical power transfer, in minimum 75% of the power is transferred mechanically. These transmissions have 2 or 4 clutches, depending on how much power the tractor has. Transmissions with only two clutches tend to jump between ranges at certain speeds, as they can't "decide" which "gear" is better. The Fendt vario also has ranges, but they are chosen manually by the driver. Basically you have to switch the range when you go from field to the road. I've demoed them all, all of them are good, but i like the Zf based Cvt better, because it pulls better. All of them whine like there's no tomorrow.
Looks like it would be a lot of fun to go to work every morning in these cabs. As farmers I think most of us do not do a good job letting non farmers know how farms operate but I think you do a good job of informing and educating these people of what happens on farms and how expensive this business is to operate. So thank you because the more educated the general public is the better off all of us will be.
Seat progression..... No suspension > leaf spring suspension > mechanical suspension > Air suspension > ACTIVE SEAT ! Once you have active seat, you can't go back ! haha
Nice machines Wes, by the way the small red lever at the back of the side console is I believe for releasing the trailer park brakes which will automatically be put on when you put the tractor in park. The switch which has the PTO symbol with a square is to activate the exterior PTO control. put that switch on, turn the PTO on and the indicators will flash. Go out side push the button for a short time and the shaft will turn and stop, hold it for more than 3 seconds and it will continue to turn until you turn it off. ( That's if I remember correctly, one way to find out!)
These new tractors look amazing!!! I know it would be a lot of work, but could you do a lineup of your biggest John Deere tractors just for comparison? Would love to see them all side-by-side!
You had talked about in a past video about some repairs and things that you would like to fix or replace on these new tractors. Now that you have them and are able to go over them with more detail. what are you going to replace, paint, or repair on these new tractors to the farm? also you talked about the quick hitches you saw in England on the tractors, what are your thoughts about them on your farm and equipment?
I hear you on getting pushed we were pulling a 7300 gallon james way spreader with a Case 8950 you just prayed that the spreader brakes did not fail We since have moved up to a MX 335, personally I get along with th MX 285 the best horsepower to weight ratio is perfect. Can not wait to see how that big John works out for you. The only problem I have with a new camera person is we see a lot more of your face sorry just could not let that pass Wes
To hell with the complainers about Theresa! She does a great job and as you said she will do better with time and experience. Sometimes when you have the camera you'll have to make it a point to frame her up and take some video of her too. I'm so glad you have a friend and we all know that a good man always has a good woman behind them. Do you plan to sell any of your current tractors? I thought the whirring was the turbo.
Theresa does fine with the video. Don't try and change her because everyone has a different eye with a cam. I hope you will keep the nosey people in suspense as long as possible in the future. I was taught early in life that asking or commenting on the price of a purchase was rude and unacceptable. I am proud for you and enjoy the video's. Tim is a good man and it is refreshing to see a guy his age working for his money.
From my viewpoint, it seems like you ended up with two excellent tractors. Now as far as the way you chained the tractors on the trailer, it would appear to me you got them home from the port, so I would count that a success, since if people seen how we chain down crushed cars would probably would have much to say about how we did that! Moreover, your girlfriend's filming skills are not that bad, compared to some of the professional news cameraman I've watched here lately! Again, excellent videos, as always, and no doubt the up coming hay season should be made much easier with these two fine tractors!
As a JD retiree, I want to thank you, Wes, for the nice contribution to my pension fund. : )
Wouldn´t that be more relevant if they were new? Money doesn´t go to JD unless theres a few parts thats going to be replaced.... :)
Not at all. Deere makes good money on repair parts. Wes bought the used tractors so someone else will eventually have to buy new ones. Good resale value is important to overall prosperity for JD.

I was raised on a farm and your videos are a true representation of life and the daily grind on the farm. In my opinion your channel is the best on TH-cam. So don't let the haters get to you.
Damn they are both big tractors, but the one you took us for a ride in is a Beast! Very nice.
The 8530 is an absolute monster. I am looking forward to seeing those tractors doing a bit of work now.
The process of getting tractors from England to New Jersey was interesting. The haters of her filming can Piss off..she is doing fine..learning by doing! A pat on the back goes a long way in life😀Keep up the great videos, thanks from the great white north Canada
Been binge watching your videos lately 2012 and onwards
as a brit your comment about the english not wanting to be a part of Europe just made my day! thanks wes :)

As a retired farmer of 44Yrs I think youre doing the right thing so keep up the good work as you know what you want and need. What little ive seen ofTerica I think she's a Keeper👀😀🤠
Can't wait to see you put them to work, nice tractors, watching you brings back my childhood on my uncle farm.
glad you got them home i hope that you have a great hay season keep up the great work you are an inspiration to a lot of people
It's a very proud moment for any Farmer when a tractor arrives on the Farm. Let alone two nice JOHN DEERES. Shows the Farm is going in the Right Direction. Well done Wesley and team.
well done wes glad to see you got your tractors home safe and sound
has to be comforting to have them in to your own yard finally, hope your grandma enjoyed seeing them at home.
I like your attitude Wes! Fuck the hackers, the trolls and the down rights knob jockeys...
Put a dozer blade on it and call it a Bull Dozer. I'm impressed! Looks like some great tractors. Thank for the great video's. I do enjoy all of them. Central Indiana

thank you four your time making all your video, of some of your life on the farm .Jim from co.
Terisa is good on the camera let her do her thing she will get better.
Love the sound of the turbo that like music to your ears.
congratulations Wes and many happy hours working them.
We've got the ivt in our 8130 and love it. Great transmission and you don't jerk around like you do in power shift transmissions
I like Theresa's filming just the way it is. It adds her own flavor to it.
brilliant what you do mr pandy excellant pair of tractors we have run autopower transmissions for 10 yrs or even more and never had any bother thats heavy draft work
That 7530 looks great with those tires.
hell yes some badass John Deere tractors you got their. I'm a big John Deere fan and my family has been using them for 50+ years. Have fun with your new toys. 😊

Loving the sound of the gears. Truly lovely tractor. Keep her clean. 👍👍
They look smart on the wider UK style tyres, hope you keep them that way if the tyres are available over there.
Wes good tractors love The Green good videos glad you got home safe
Wow that tubo really whistles. That is a sound I love hearing. What great machines...
Don't care about the complainers Wes, you have the best TH-cam channel around and they're jealous and want to find fault
Two great tractors there though, that 8530 is an absolute beast and I'm sure the 7530 will be very handy, the 8120 is a great big tractor but it is a little on the small side for the baler that 8530 will have no problems
"Put your foot on the brakes and she stops"...brakes are for quitters. LOL Love your videos, keep them coming Wes and Teresa is doing a fine job.
Love to see a picture of all your tractors in a row and/or all your field ready tractors.....PLEASE !!!
never mind the haters,, spend your cash where and when as you see fit
If you're wondering, a lot of the cast parts (everything that has WF on it) are cast in Waupaca, WI at the Waupaca foundry
Very nice tractors Wes :) I cant wait to see them in action. Thanks for the vids.
From my operation from a JD 7720 IVT vs. a Case 145 CVT the Case seems to operate much smoother driving especially in rough fields.
i didn't catch the chain hook issue but other than that the chain down of tractors looked fine. i might have put the nose up on the upper deck to give a little more room between the two tractors. just wondering what these are destined for and what theyre replacing are destined for. loved the ending. the guys taking thier ladies for a ride
Congrats on the new tractors, they look great and I can't wait to see them working!
I think she dose a nice job filming great job keep them coming thanks.
delivering new tractors was always a pain.. no steel to steel contact, we used rubber pads cut from old inner tubes between the tractors and chains.. depending on the customer and the weather, we even had to give 'em a bath so they'd show-up shiny
best wishes to you and the new tractors! Cant wait to see them in action!
Congratulations on your two new beautiful JD's!
I salute your thinking outside the box and buying your tractors in the UK.
Good business move, dollar is super strong vs sterling, big business leverage themselves this way all the time.
That's funny your grandmother excited about riding in the tractor truly a true former that's great
Very nice tractors Mr. Wes. May you be more productive next hay season.
Screw the haters, they can't do what you can.
Teresa, you're doing a fine job filming !! keep it up .
love the new tractors too ,wes
Have fun with your new toys. You are very right about having more power than you need. That way you know you will always get the job done.
Personally, I like the way she places herself to always catch the most of the action going on. She seems to have the skills to catch the bigger picture.
now Wes just needs to build a nicer shed to store them play pretties in... so he can have the other shop for his repairs
Nice Deeres! Don't know if anyone's told you this, but never use the wheel of the driving stick as a brake! Most autopower issues are caused by that!

I think a full line up of all of the olf tractors is needed with these two new additions
Vario is awesome! The Zuidberg front linkage on the 7530 was made only 60 miles from where I live.
The 7530 looks bad ass with them front tires.👍
Very Amazing JD tractors Wes , Tim's crackshow 😂😛😂😛😂😛😂😛😂😛😂😛😂😛😂😛😂😛😂😛😂😛😛😂😂😛😛😂😛😂😛
Am I the only one that thought the big green tractor song came to mind watching this video?
Looks like it would be a lot of fun to go to work every morning in these cabs. Seat progression..... No suspension > leaf spring suspension > mechanical suspension > Air suspension > ACTIVE SEAT !
Once you have active seat, you can't go back ! haha
What you're hearing is the turbos spooling up and down. Nice tractors Wes. They should do the job for years to come.

Gotta love hearing the turbo's spooling up!
Great tractors. All the best of luck with them!
We have 4 7530's premium. They are great little tractors lol. I think you made the right decisions :D
Have fun with these beautiful machines.
Nice machines....tractors have come a long way since the John Deere 4020!
I like the close-up shots and show more of the dog, thanks for the videos
Can't wait to see this beast producing bales with the krone!
Greetings from Germany and good luck with your new tractors wes;)
2 cool tractor's Wes , you did well
It might be a good time to rig up one of the older/smaller tractors with a fence post auger and a T-Post driver. Awesome tractors/video btw.
any footage is better than no footage.thanks Teresa.
Wow, nice looking tractors. You make great vids. South Main Auto is another great vid maker. I think the two of you are the best on TH-cam.
These new tractors look amazing!!! I know it would be a lot of work, but could you do a lineup of your biggest John Deere tractors just for comparison? Would love to see them all side-by-side!

Man can't wait to see those rigs in action! Good looking rigs!
Nicely done. Should make pulling mountain of a baler a lot nicer.
I like the filming from Theresa, no complaints!!
Nice to see you got them home Wes!
I hear you on getting pushed we were pulling a 7300 gallon james way spreader with a Case 8950 you just prayed that the spreader brakes did not fail We since have moved up to a MX 335, personally I get along with th MX 285 the best horsepower to weight ratio is perfect. Awesome machines congratulations pandys
park the 8120 beside the 8530 and compare the differences plz bud
He did a couple days ago. Its on instagram
Most of us aren't on instagram, so what's your point?
8530 have other lights, and it's much stronger than 8120
Wtf are you talking about?
I'm talking about the differences between 8120 and 8530
Good deal that was awesome been waiting for this a long time thanks for sharing the experience on you tube.
Awesome tractors!!
glad you made it home safe nice new toys love it
for Theresa: I do not criticize your camera skills and I am glad you decided not to be camera shy anymore.
got some beautiful tractors they cleaned up nice
From my viewpoint, it seems like you ended up with two excellent tractors. Now as far as the way you chained the tractors on the trailer, it would appear to me you got them home from the port, so I would count that a success, since if people seen how we chain down crushed cars would probably would have much to say about how we did that! Dang...Wes you look the spitting image of your dad. I suppose you have been told this numerous times. Love your videos and sharing your experience.
They look great Wes!
beautiful tractors wes can't wait to see them working on the farm
