This feels like they condensed a studio Ghibli movie into a one piece ep. tears to the marine backstory right into a laugh. idk if any other work of fiction has made me emotional like 5 times in the span of 25 min. one piece is truly something special

So it makes sense why they all thought he was really weak in comparison to Zoro. But that said it’s also an atrocity to consider Zoro as a candidate for the greatest swordsman especially considering that Zoro has just learned haki.

The current One Piece schedule for anime releases on Sunday Mornings. The fishman remake will follow this schedule, though a new time slot will be announced when the anime picks back up again in April. We don’t know what time that will be; it will probably be announced at Jump Festa in December.

Exactly if Fishman Island Remastered/Repaced does well then not only will that mean more time/budget for animation for the current arc as well as better pacing for the current arc which is fantastic news for new fans who haven't reached those arcs yet and for fans who want to rewatch but it also means we'll finally get Dressrosa Remastered/Repaced. Then we get Whole Cake Island Remastered/Repaced and so on. We'll get better quality more accurate to the manga versions of all the Post-TS material while alternating with getting far better paced episodes for the current arc. It's going to be fantastic. One Piece is my favorite story of all time but I dropped it twice due to how badly paced the anime is, if not for the fan edit I wouldn't be the massive fan as I am today, getting an official One Pace with improved animation is a dream come true for me.
