They spend half of their show with no equipment in their hands. I saw only 16 counts of ensemble equipment work by the rifles and then the sabers. They did have some nice tricks and a some great tosses, but even some of those tosses are sequential. I love color guard but what happened to ensemble work. The entire guard doing the same things at the same time and not just 16 or 32 counts of flag work at the end of a show. I sure wish there was more variety in the music the guards use, but I guess this must have something to do with copyright issues. All this slow piano and violin music one guard after the next makes for a long night. Still, I know these young people work their butts off and some of those tricks were spectacular.

Miles Cumminski that was also my impression too! I actually don't mind the music, (partial because my daughter is a violinist 😁) to their credit I had some goosebumps at times. I was wondering where all the synchronization work was too. I was looking for more incorporation of the flags. I also wanted to "see" the music more.

I love this show, but they are just as messy as they were a month ago. I REALLLLLY hope it cleans up by Dayton. They need to medal!

Overall nice show! I cringe when I see the entire team on riffle. It never fails that someone will drop the riffle/miss a toss
