Worst I've earned I feel were NHL 2K10 and WRC 6 and Agents of Mayhem all for the same thing. Ungoldy grinds - NHL 2K10 - Play 500 games. Even if you play 3 min games it still takes 42 hours minimum just to get this trophy - WRC 6 - Play 1,000 events. Completing campaign may only get you 200 so just grinding the shortest event over and over took weeks and online events don't count which you need to do 50 of those as well. - Agents of Mayhem - What you said, getting all agents to level 20. Think it took me 5 full playthroughs of the campaign. Couldn't have been happier to delete that game from my console.
I’m really proud to have Red Dead Redemption 2’s platinum. It took me about 350 hours. I loved the hunting, story, combat, and attention to detail. The crazy thing is, the game was so amazing that I would re-platinum it again if Rockstar ever released a remaster for it.
@@kieronjohn6334that squirrel it’s glitched but there is a fix to it on TH-cam for that Do don’t give up my brother don’t let a squirrel get you down 😅 The game is amazing is totally worth it ! 😇
As I've just become a completionist/trophy hunter in the recent few months, I positively refuse to platinum any game with multiplayer trophies. There's too many games to have potential fun with over spending hundreds of hours on a single multiplayer game.
Rocket League is worth your while. A common misconception with trophy hunters is a few online trophies in a game equals a massive grind. That may of been the case with the PS3 generation but most of you guys don’t bother with PS3 games, you’re playing the new stuff on PS5. Games like Dead by Daylight know they are multiplayer games and thus there is a big grind with that. Many modern games with some online trophies are pretty minor, usually having you play a few matches to getting a few skills. Nothing to write home about. But throwing a blanket statement on all online trophies isn’t the proper approach. I avoid a lot of multiplayer too, but I don’t consider it to be as bad as some people think.
Too bad most of a lot of otherwise great single player games come with tact on multiplayer modes, half of which have their servers shutdown or are abandoned
@@KratostheThirdAvoiding games with multiplayer trophies is the best thing you can do. Because if you for some reason take a break from trophy hunting the game, and just forget about it. The servers will shut down eventually. Then you will be stuck with that game on your trophy list without ever being able to get the platinum or 100%. If the multiplayer trophies are easy and don’t take hours to get, then sure, you shouldn’t avoid the game. Sadly most games with online multiplayer trophies aren’t that way. There are enough games out there without multiplayer trophies that it doesn’t bother me to completely avoid them.
@@OldBenKenobi2318 I did Max Payne 3 mere weeks before the servers shut down. I did Assassin's Creed Brotherhood on the PS3 months before Ubisoft shut down those servers as well. We can argue that yes, some games with multiplayer aren't worth it, because they aren't to our tastes or the games are just bad. I don't know what games you're playing but if you're doing Overwatch or Dead by Daylight, then you are literally playing a multiplayer game. If you're playing Days Gone, there's no multiplayer at all, it's all single player. Please don't try to insult my intelligence.

I've got the platinum for Injustice two and that grind to get Catwoman's Cat fight ability was a nightmare but was happy to see that trophy pop followed by the platinum
I have Resident Evil 6 & Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2 Platinum But the Worst Game to Platinum Was The Evil Within , Not Saying the Game is Bad, Its the Trophies that is the Worst. All because of the Dreaded Akumu Mode where Every Enemy 1-hit kills you ,Theres also another one for Beating the Game without Upgrading on Normal & Finishing the Game in Under 5Hrs Its a 9/10 Difficulty, 3 Playthroughs (It took 5 For me), & it would Take 50hrs
Multiversus is unobtainable now, at least for the original version that came out. It remains to be seen if the trophy list stays the same or changes a bit once it gets re-released.
There's no amount of money in the world you could pay me to complete Just Cause 4 again. Like imagine all the great things they had in the second game, expanded and improved upon in the 3rd, then chucked all that progress out the window to make something so dull and unenjoyable. It's a repetitive grind in such a mediocre game
@@PlatinumBro wouldn't recommend it BUT I would recommend Just Cause 2 (if you have a PS3 laying around) and Just Cause 3 though those games are fantastic, a bit grindy but worth it
@@HandmadeGoose97 idk man, I had fun with all 3 but the one I remember “fondly” as being the biggest pain was 2… It shows even by the time it took me to platinum each; 2 took me 13 days, 3 took 9 & 4 a week 🤷🏽♂
Edit: re-considering my answer, out of ~150 platinums I actually have a mere few annoying ones. 1) Tomb Rider 2014: platinum required reaching max MP level, which was done through a boosting session repeating the exact same action for 8+ total hours :( 2) FFVII Crisis Core Reunion: JRPGs are known for their love for grind; platinum required completing all missions which were a boring misery of repetitiveness for 5+ hours. 3) MK I, platinum needs 10-12 hours of EXP grinding by repeating the same action. (Compared to MK9 and MKX this is not too bad by the way)
I've got the Resident Evil 6 Platinum on PS4, I actually liked it, it was my first Resident Evil game when I first bought it on PS3, and yeah eventually I completed the platinum on PS4.
You can get Cat Call in Injustice 2 from the normal multiverse. I didn't grind it out, it just took a little bit for the ability to appear. You're guaranteed to get the ability with patience.
I’m an achievement hunter on Xbox and if you think bbs is bad on PlayStation, on Xbox the collections have one achievement list, so I have 1, CoM and 2 100% but my KH 1.5 + 2.5 will only be 100% when I do bbs. Same with 2.8 but that’s not as egregious. P.s injustice 2 was so ass for me too, I got every single catwoman ability expect cat call and. I needed to do her multiverse too, then I did it on pc and got cat call in my first 5 hours.
I have all 3 GTAV platinums and I had no problems. The online trophies autopop when transferring online character from PS3 to 4 and then to ps5. The first person trophy also popped. Not sure if the whole game autopops when transferring single player save as I didn’t do that.
I have to disagree with Uncharted Golden Abyss. I don’t expect too much from handhelds, you pick up and play as you move or travel. Golden Abyss was also one of the first games for Vita, and I don’t think the features were polished as well as something like Tearaway, which is a great Vita title. The bounty grind is indeed bad, however the game overall is well worth your while if you’re looking to play Sony exclusive games on the Vita.
I agree that it’s 100% worth playing especially for a handheld game I just think the platinum is bad especially considering how annoying the boss fights are on crushing (with the touch pad)
@@PlatinumBro I wish they incorporated a couple characters from Golden Abyss into the rest of the series, including the young woman and the main antagonist. It’s a Bend Studios made game, who later on developed Days Gone, which I know you finished.
I'm grinding for the fortnite plat but it's taking forever 😭 I'm at 22% for talented builder 25% for guardian angel 32% for world explorer 55% for unspeakable horrors and 32% for plays well with others
I’ve done a lot of very grindy platinums but the one I hated the most was Call of Duty Black Ops Declassified for the PS Vita. Way too much of repeating the same mission over and over for several trophies that demand near perfect gameplay
Amazing video chad! My worst plat is definitely Wolfenstein Youngblood which I got last year. I love the Wolfenstein games definitely in my 10 favourite game series. I knew Youngblood wasn't that great which yeah it definitely is not a good game but getting the platinum was so Grindy, Boring, Repetitive and would highly recommend not playing it and going for the platinum because it'll be a waste of your time I have the plat for injustice 2, GTA 5 & Cod BO3 they're definitely not good platinums but the games themselves are fun to play! Also! Why did Guyfarruski not talk about DMC5?!?!?!
All I have left in Shenmue 3 are the Collectible Herbs; and it is the absolute worst part. I didn't mind too much about the other Trophies as you can plan it out and save scum certain parts and money glitch, and token farm etc.. Reload and what not, but the 400 Herbs is unforgivable, as it's like Rockstar's Bully, in the sense that you have to go to bed at 9PM, which is just absolute horror, not to mention the slow walking and having to constantly eat food in order to be able run - these are the worst parts of it, and there is no map for the Collectibles - it is such a horrible slog of a grind alone, in and of itself. Herbs are all I need for the Platinum, and it's too painful to do.
There's a handful of plats on this list that I have that are nowhere near as bad as you describe, Uncharted GA was no nore difficult than the others in the series, GTA V wasn't the worst grind but it did take around 70 hours for everything in single player, online came naturally for me, RE6 didn't take that long, the skill points are easily farmed and the professional difficulty only requires you to complete the last section of each chapter, however THPS was hell grinding the level 100 trophy, everything else wasn't a bother. I'm surprised that MKX is never on these types of lists, grinding out all the factions to level 50 is one of the worst grinds I've ever done -_-
I did Monster Hunter World a couple of years back and it took me about 350 hours, but… Monster Hunter Rise is twice as hard and tedious, I started, but I don’t think I’ll ever go back to it because it was far too much 😭
28:54 Do it in offline mode. I've seen next to noone say this but I tried it. I spent about 30hours online looking. Tried offline and got everything I needed within 4 hours. I probably only took me that long as I was leveling up guns n stuff to use in the dlc. If you was just running through levels offline, looking for collectibles it'd be a lot quicker.
Im watching this as im working my way to the Birth by Sleep platinum, and i feel it gonna break my 3 year streak on getting a 100% on every game i play. Thief on ps3 is the platinum i hated myself for forcing me to get it.
Bbs is a grind but well worth it. The crit run is not too bad once you get some melding done. The longest grind is the command boards and the secret bosses. Platted it on PS3 gonna do it on PS4 soon
White Knight Chronicles 2 is the absolute worse it takes over 500+ hours to do it My worse one was Silent Hill to platinum I got it but was happy after I did
Eat Lead: the return of Matt hazard….the game will drain you mentally due to how terrible the gameplay and controls are but the comedy writing makes up for some of it…if only a little bit
Now hear me out, in my opinion brawlhalla has not a good plat also, it isnt as hard as the ones in the video but its still a lot of grinding levels and coins. What makes it more trash is that everythings online and there r a lot of toxix players and a lot of spammers
Usually I have my phone in one hand and my third leg in the other when I have that moment where I ask myself “What possessed me to do this?” But I can certainly remember asking myself the same thing when I decided to platinum Call Of Duty Black Ops, I still have the odd nightmarish flashback to that part of the 3rd campaign mission “SOG” where the enemies just infinitely spawn and the next checkpoint seems light years away.
Dragonsbane in Neverwinter has been softened a lot in recent updates, though. Now, all kinds of dragons count, including the drakes which are far more common than proper dragons. I managed to get this trophy killing drakes for about two hours last year.
@@PlatinumBro Hard to say, I did all the other trophies back in 2018, so I had a long break. Still three digits, but much closer to 100 now. Fair warning for the 100%, there's a few timelocked trophies in the DLCs that take months due to limits on weekly progress in many campaigns.
Really surprised to see Kingdom Hearts on this list😄 I don't think the trophy for completing the game on the Critical difficulty is the worst trophy in the game. I had a lot of fun earning it but never liked how they handled Critical mode in Birth by Sleep and 3D (player receives 2x damage but deals only 0.5x damage to the enemy). It makes fights take much longer than they should be. Critical in KH2 was a lot more fun (2x damage received but also 1.25x damage dealt). I earned all trophies for KH2 on Critical difficulty and got rewarded with my first platinum . I think Chain of Memories has the platinum trophy I enjoyed the least in the whole franchise. It has a weird card based battle system and some really grindy trophies (collecting every card at least once for Sora and reaching level 99 with both Sora and Riku). The worst part was that the difficulty trophies didn't stack on PS3 (they fixed it for the PS4 release) and I had to 3 playthroughs with Sora and another 3 with Riku 😅 I want to earn the plat for the PS4 versions again just to have every plat in the franchise (except the asian version of KH3). I think it would be a lot of fun but I'm not looking forward to the grind in BbS and CoM 😂 Other terrible trophy lists (but great games 😄): - InFamous 1 for needing to collect all 350 blast shards. There is no way to know which shards you already collected and if you miss one you have to check every single spot again. - Both platinum trophies for Final Fantasy 14 take a long time to complete. Trying to get 100% in the PS5 version takes an insane amount of time. You have to play through a lot of the content they released in the past 10 years. Each patch and expansion adds new trophies and the devs plan to develop more content for at least another 10 years. But that won't stop me from trying to get as many trophies as I can 😅
Guyfarruski is always telling me about how hard kingdom of hearts is which is why it made the list hahaha. Cool that one of the games was your first ever platinum buddy. oh yeah FF14, what a grind
Ooh I actually had quite a good amount of these selected, maybe I need better taste lmao. Those predator clips mmmf, another banger video as always Chadinum BRO!
Personally I’m adding Hogwarts Legacy to the list. Having to do 100% of the map + 4 tutorials really had me going like “what am I doing with my life”. Also in my list, Alien Isolation, cause deathless runs are always a SIN! And finally, a Yakuza game should be on the list. I haven’t platinumed the entire series, but I bet Yakuza 3 might have the cake of “most life waster Yakuza game”.
GTA is extremely easy the only "hard" one is the dlc trophy for doomsday but the hardest part for this one is just the fact that you need to find 3 friends Rank 100 takes around 2hours thats it and all in all not even close to 250 hours 😂
I feel seen for having both RE6 and Returnal. The latter actually took me close to a week of just grinding the last few ciphers. All in all, it was not the worst it was less than 60 hours of playtime, but resetting cycles over and over felt.... eternal. Also honorable mention to the Witcher 3 and its missable Gwent cards... they can piss off.
I own the Birth by Sleep Platinum Trophy (and every KH Trophy before this) All i can say: Square hates Trophy Hunter. Play ReChain of Memories to platinum and thinking "why is there a trophy that need both characters at lv 99, even for the fact that on higher difficulty, you beat the Game on 60-70(with grinding). Making the way to 99 just useless. My worst Platinum was Warriors All Stars. A Musou Game, with alot of different characters that comes from different Games. The whole reason i want to play this Game was to play with Opoona, a round Small Alien guy that had his one Game on Wii. What's sad about it? It's the one character you can only play, if you beat EVERY single Story Part the Game has to offer. Easy? Not really, because even for the fact that the game gives you an Option to check, which Story part can be triggered, the implementation is a mess. If you need a guide, to understand how the ingame Guide works, then the whole guide is useless. (the moment i understand it, i didn't need it anymore. tl:tr More grind then fun. Just to see the Platinum at the end... (which to be fair, feels still great, with an 0,7% rarity, but who cares at the end? xD )
Mortal Kombat (2011) has to be on this list. That "My King Fu is stronger" trophy is beyond ridiculous and will take forever. Also the troohy to win 10 straight online matches is going to be almost impossible.
I also have a question have you ever played assassin’s creed Mirage because when I played this game, this was the best game I ever played in my life. The story was amazing. I gave the game a 10 out of 10.
Big tip for Anthem plat, if you start a new character, you don’t have to do the tomb challenges, also all collections reset and if you collect them that you did in your first character, they will still count towards the trophy, which brings tons of hours of grinding down.
I got the Plat for Injustice 2. There were multiverse events that rewarded you with the unlockable abilities, and I just kept playing those when they showed up until I got Cat Call. Loved this game. Friday the 13th could be lumped in with Predator: Hunting Grounds. It stops being fun real fast when you have to grind 1000 matches as Jason and the counsellors and get X number of kills and repairs. I found a solid group of dudes to complete it with, but it was one of the most tedious platinum experiences I’ve ever had (thus far).
I already have 70 % in Odissey and Valhalla. I nearly have all collectibles in Valhalla...Goal is to plat AC Origin, Odissey and Valhalla. 😅 Ki have the plat for KH3, 2 play rounds. I didn't wanted to grind for a better gummi ship, so the last space boss fight took me 1 1/5 hours. Yep, all the time shooting and moving in circles. When I think about it I still feel the pain in my thumb.
I have 5 plats on your list and that scares me. 😂 They are: - Uncharted: Golden Abyss - Marvel's Avengers - Neverwinter - Anthem - Returnal Small side note on Neverwinter: since they added a zone with regular dragon mobs, the grind is actually doable. 🙂 Great vid by the way!
@@PlatinumBro haven't really timed it, but the zone is called Well of Dragons (obviously). And there are packs of 3-5 small, 'komodo-like' dragons that count towards the trophy. Since I usually play a healing class in mmo's my dps on these things wasn't too high. So if you have dps class you can probably take them out faster. I had a route across several packs and by the time I was at the end the first ones started respawning. Not having an in game counter did suck though.
Golden Abyss isn’t as bad as what this video states. The bounty grind and a certain boss fight towards the end on Crushing difficulty are the main barriers towards the platinum.
The only one I have from this list is Lego Star Wars, Ride 5 was a 160 hour-ish grind, and with bugs at launch in the endurance races and time trials too ffs 😆
I have Injustice 2! Was so happy when I finally got cat call. Maining Catwoman made it a little more bearable. But some of the hardest ones I've done are Tennis World Tour 2, UFC 2/3/4 (especially 3) and Overwatch.
GTA 5 really? I loved that Platinum personally. It's one game where I enjoyed going for collectibles as I was just immersed in that world. While the Online Trophies are a pain, I was fortunate enough to play during a time where there was triple RP
I really enjoyed platting GTA 5 3 times. Online is amazing for me so i had no problem getting way past level 100. No annoying trophies since you dont have to gold medal all missions. Best game of all time. Maybe only GTA 6 could beat it
I enjoyed GTA V for most of my platinum run, however doing the 70 gold medals on ps4 was really annoying since every fail meant 2 minutes of loading screen
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2 has a platinum percentage of 0.1 it’s ridiculously hard the requirements for some of these trophies is insane. I had to give up I only have 6 trophies left to obtain the platinum but there just too difficult most of them require you to pull of insane combos that I just can’t do.
The worst ones I have are Crash 4, DMCV, THPS 1+2, RDR2, The Witcher 3 and RE6... Maybe I should forget the idea of getting the platinum for Anthem for my own sake lol
I can't speak for what's the worst since it's so subjective but the worst I've ever done was "Mugen Souls" on the PS3. It's an RPG so of course it was going to be on the longer side, not to mention from the early PS3 days when trophy hunting was new and there wasn't as much consideration for it, but the lengths you are required to reach are fairly ludicrous. I'm not going to go into exact details but, essentially, it's a 400+ hour somewhat difficult grind. I think it took me around 450 hours over the course of two months straight of nearly continual play. To give an idea, I was finished with the post game at around 50 hours. The rest of that time was just obtaining these specific kinds of resource drops and just trying to get characters strong enough to survive the harder segments. Throw in some RNG and poor performance (like constant crashes in a game with no auto-saving), it can often feel like you're going nowhere or even losing progress. But I got it, being one of my few sub 1% platinuims. I legitimately don't recall most of the experience due to how mind-numbing it was. Funnily, the game did get a sequel, "Mugen Souls Z", and while it's technically harder...it thankfully doesn't take anywhere near as long despite requiring the same general goals. There's no guide but it's like around-to-under 100 hours in comparison. There are also some other games on my profile that are similar length-wise, "White Knight Chronicles" at 600+ hours and "Star Ocean 4" at 500+ hours, but I just don't have the will to go for them. Between not wanting to go through that kind of time investment again and just not having any interest in actually playing them, I'm fine leaving them incomplete.
of course it's 100% subjective but if you're spending 450 hours on a game, its one hell of a grind, that is bigger grind than anything I have ever done for a platinum. My biggest grind was probably Resi 6 with the DLC ended up taking me around 200 hours ha
I've got the plat. got RDR2 and Valhalla. I've definitely played games with more collectibles and took longer than Valhalla. I have the plats. in Final Fantasy X and X2...definitely a longer grind.
Gta 5 truly wasnt that bad. It obviosuly helped thay id played the online religiously for quite a long while so i had rank 100 well before i went for the plat. But other than that it was doable
Dying light when the encounters were glitched was very frustrating to do as it was completely RNG. It eventually got patched but I did it beforehand. TLOU conversations glitched out on me so I had to redo my play through and Overwatch 1 and 2 were pretty challenging. Lastly, I did battlefield 1 at the end of 2023 and there was only 1 SERVER active so that was very difficult to finish as half the time they were on DLC maps and I did not want to spend money on a DLC I didn’t need.
Dying light still has glitchy bozak achievements, they never fixed them and it pains me because I want to get those achievements again on xbox, I did it on steam first
I have 4 of these platinums! The worst Lego platinum in my experience was Lego Worlds, no stud multiplier and some RNG as well. My worst platinum is probably Fall Guys. I'm trying Deep Rock Galactic atm and the grind on that is insane.
I done black ops3, black ops4 and cold war hated black ops3 the most cause of the campaign having to grind out the camos thankfully I did do realistic with a friend and did a glitch for one of the medals for the training arena, black ops 4 was only really annoying for blackout as you have to unlock characters doing certain objectives when you pick up their items, cold war was decent compared to the other two again only painful trophies was dead ops plus doing the fireteam trophy, it's something I don't want to do again for the ps5 version
I am surprised to see Valhalla on here; it's certainly understandable that having terrible grinds would land a title on this kind of list, but it didn't seem any worse than the rest that were mentioned. Perhaps more than anything it was just the open world that created a bit of a slog getting from place to place, definitely a distant feel from the Ezio entries for example. I would probably put a rhythm game in its place, like guitar hero or rock band, as they have difficulty skill checks that require actual time to be put into practicing instead of just the grind factor.
@@PlatinumBro It's quite niche, but then the problem would be going through all of them to figure out which list is the worst. I don't think I have even looked through any of the newer entries to both series
No EDF game makes me sadge. The amount of grinding you need per class to even attempt inferno difficulties safely is ungodly bad like you need 15x the armour you get the trophy for reaching to even start thinking ontop of Random weapon drops you need and 1000s of enemies killed or completion across every character on every difficulty. Absolutely ungodly undertaking.
Succubus with Guns is the worst platinum I've ever gotten. It's really short and easy but the game is so terrible and broken that I litterally had to force myself to play it.
Huh. Really didn't expect Birth by Sleep on here. It's a fairly easy platinum, though I will admit I know how to break the game to the point I did the entire PS4 list on Level 1 Critical (except Mysterious Figure for Ven and Terra) for the extra challenge. Worst I've ever done was by far the grind for Bleach: Soul Resurreccion on the PS3. It's not incredibly difficult, but the list was definitely padded to make up for the sheer lack of content as raising 20 characters to max level with something like 36~ playable stages (only 3~ of which are even decent for Exp) is mind-numbing. That all said, hardest I've ever attempted was Star Ocean: The Last Hope. Doesn't look too difficult just looking at a trophy list, but World's Biggest Welch Fan is easily missable and the Ultimate Battler requires getting all 900 (nine hundred) in-game battle trophies.
I've gotten the platinum for 5 of these games so far. They are: Assassin's Creed: Valhalla (100% completed too) Injustice 2 (also 100%) Marvel's Avengers Grand Theft Auto V (currently at 85%, only missing the $8 million spend and 25 platinum awards in Heists, and all but the first trophy in the Doomsday Heists expansions) Red Dead Redemption 2 I do however have plans to platinum Black Ops 3, Neverwinter, Monster Hunter World, and Diablo 2 in the future, purely because I enjoy the games. My worst platinum experience by far has to be DIRT 5. First off, it's a racing game with bad controls and lackluster maps, but the worst part is the "Drive 1000 kilometers" trophy. Completing everything in the main campaign once will only net you 450 kilometers, so I just went for DLC just so that the grind wasn't all for nothing.
GT Sport is just brutal. Luckily servers will shut down this week and will make it's platin unobtainable. This will give me some peace, bacause I can stop thinking about it. Trophies like win 91 races get 65 Pole Postions are tough enough and I had to lose races on purpose to get my match making rating down. Get first or slow down to get last. But the worst is the reach level 50 trophy. The grind is just unreal. You need hundreds of hours active gameplay. Leveling in this game is logarithmic. When you get level 46 you haven't reached the half xp mark, means the last 4 levels will take you longer than all you did before.
My worst/hardest/grind platinum would be ultra street fighter 4, you had to win 10 online matches in a row, collect all title which involves online, do all trials( very hard combo), make every character C+, clear arcade mode with every character on the hardest difficulty and do other online mode 30 time which there was 6 mode, 1289 hours played(9 months and 3 weeks) now most people won’t take that long but I’m very bad in fighting games. My second is street fighter 5 again suck at fighting game.
At least Injustice 2 is pretty much a zero skill 100%. Yes, you will have to boost the King of the Hill mode, and it is quite a bit of time watching your AI catwoman trudge through the multiverse grind. But, you can troll randoms in both ranked and player match with Atom’s QCB special (214 in number notation). It’s an earthquake stomp that hits the whole floor. If you time it right, you can catch the opponent’s recovery and make them ‘do the worm’ to zero health. The audible frustration of the randoms with their mics on was delicious. The training mode trophy was definitely the hardest one. The little Raiden trophy is a recipe for disaster until someone tips you off that it must be an AI fighter Raiden, not player controlled to get the mini me to spawn during ‘round 2/3.’
well done on doing it though! it's a platinum I probably won't go near. Oh wait I did say I want every super hero platinum trophy so maybe I will have to brave it
I'm at 141 platinums and I'm not sure if I want to do it for much longer. It definitely ruined some good games for me over the years and it's stressful if I miss a collectable or something and have to do a new playthrough. Or if I use a collectable guide and it kinda spoils a lot of the game
I have 3 plats from this list: Monster Hunter World (working on the Iceborne plat which is insane) Lego Star Wars, Skywalker Saga Assassins Creed Valhalla My most difficult plat is The Elder Scrolls Online. The emperor trophy is arguably the hardest on this list.
I only have Injustice 2, GTA 5, Black Ops 3 (100%) and Red Dead Redemption 2 from this list. Actually I liked to get everything but Injustice 2 is soooo luck-based... I got the platinum in ~85h
Xenoverse 1: It has like 5 layers of RNG. First: missions have hidden objectives to unlock more and even if you complete them, it's rng whether it continues. Second: after that it's rng whether you get any drops Third: the rng to get what you need is absolutely abysmal Fourth: you have to collect dragonballs to make wishes. Well, it's rng whether they even show up Fifth: pray to RNGesus that the dragonball isn't the dame one you already have.
how come you picked BO3, which is just grindy, but didn't include BO4 which is completely unobtainable for anyone who isn't a skilled try hard in multiplayer? To win a flawless Blackout game in 2024 is like trying to join a game thats been around for years and you as a newbie have to defeat all the vets who know every single thing about the game. Unless you can somehow get like 20 friends into a single game and hope you won't get killed by the tryhards to boost it.
Ok there's this easy game called birthdays the beginning. It was a 2/10 difficulty and can be beat In 8 hours. BUT there is a single trophy that requires you to play the game for 600 hours. In a game that can be 100 percented in 8, and that was after a patch that fixed it where it was originally 6000 hours. I want to play my games not leave it on over night for 4 months. 😂
How is Resident Evil 6 that bad lol. Took me like 2 days to platinum it and it was fun to play with a friend. The DLC trophies were more annoying. And as for the farming stuff you can farm everything with ease in the online modes. Easiest RE platinum in my opinion
What is the worst platinum trophy you have ever earned and why?
Also if this video gets 1,000 likes I will make another video like it :)
'Having a cheeky tug' is THE last thing I thought I'd hear in a plat video 😂 I nearly choked on my digestive biccy 😂😂
Worst I've earned I feel were NHL 2K10 and WRC 6 and Agents of Mayhem all for the same thing. Ungoldy grinds
- NHL 2K10 - Play 500 games. Even if you play 3 min games it still takes 42 hours minimum just to get this trophy
- WRC 6 - Play 1,000 events.
Black ops 3’s Personal Decorator trophy. That one is absolute hell
Destiny 2
Black ops 3 wasent that bad compared to black ops 4
I’m really proud to have Red Dead Redemption 2’s platinum. It took me about 350 hours. I loved the hunting, story, combat, and attention to detail. The crazy thing is, the game was so amazing that I would re-platinum it again if Rockstar ever released a remaster for it.
well done Josh. You're a stronger man than me haha
I'm almost done , I gave it a rest about two years ago lol, couldn't find a squirrel and I was already burnt out

Nice congratulations! I’m proud to say I have the MGS4 platinum. God only knows how long it took me to get it lol
As I've just become a completionist/trophy hunter in the recent few months, I positively refuse to platinum any game with multiplayer trophies. There's too many games to have potential fun with over spending hundreds of hours on a single multiplayer game.
welcome dude, good idea

I've got the platinum for Injustice two and that grind to get Catwoman's Cat fight ability was a nightmare but was happy to see that trophy pop followed by the platinum
well done!
I have Resident Evil 6 & Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2 Platinum
But the Worst Game to Platinum Was The Evil Within , Not Saying the Game is Bad, Its the Trophies that is the Worst.
All because of the Dreaded Akumu Mode where Every Enemy 1-hit kills you ,Theres also another one for Beating the Game without Upgrading on Normal & Finishing the Game in Under 5Hrs
Its a 9/10 Difficulty, 3 Playthroughs (It took 5 For me), & it would Take 50hrs
Oh man well done. That game is on my other list video
Multiversus is unobtainable now, at least for the original version that came out. It remains to be seen if the trophy list stays the same or changes a bit once it gets re-released.
Is it? Oh no way
Fortnite’s ‘Play 1000 games with others’ trophy was pure Aids.
100% horrid
There's no amount of money in the world you could pay me to complete Just Cause 4 again. Like imagine all the great things they had in the second game, expanded and improved upon in the 3rd, then chucked all that progress out the window to make something so dull and unenjoyable. It's a repetitive grind in such a mediocre game
Okay I might not play that game this year like I had planned hahaha
@@PlatinumBro wouldn't recommend it BUT I would recommend Just Cause 2 (if you have a PS3 laying around) and Just Cause 3 though those games are fantastic, a bit grindy but worth it
@@HandmadeGoose97 just cause 2 grind was the worst of the 3 😂
@@shinyagami8843 2 IS a grind but the big difference is that it's still a much funner and better game then 4 is

It shows even by the time it took me to platinum each; 2 took me 13 days, 3 took 9 & 4 a week 🤷🏽♂
Edit: re-considering my answer, out of ~150 platinums I actually have a mere few annoying ones.
1) Tomb Rider 2014: platinum required reaching max MP level, which was done through a boosting session repeating the exact same action for 8+ total hours :(
2) FFVII Crisis Core Reunion: JRPGs are known for their love for grind; platinum required completing all missions which were a boring misery of repetitiveness for 5+ hours.
3) MK I, platinum needs 10-12 hours of EXP grinding by repeating the same action. (Compared to MK9 and MKX this is not too bad by the way)
Sounds like you’ve been smart with your platinums
I've got the Resident Evil 6 Platinum on PS4, I actually liked it, it was my first Resident Evil game when I first bought it on PS3, and yeah eventually I completed the platinum on PS4.
I’m glad some people found it fun. That’s gaming for ya
You can get Cat Call in Injustice 2 from the normal multiverse. I didn't grind it out, it just took a little bit for the ability to appear. You're guaranteed to get the ability with patience.
Oh happy days
Not sure if the whole game autopops when transferring single player save as I didn’t do that.
well done bro :D
Golden abyss was fricking annoying, especially the part where you were running away in cinematic mode. It took me a full hour of dying constantly
Exactly! So annoying
I’ve done assassins creed Valhalla and that was a goddamn miserable plat. Took me 150 hours. Don’t know why I bothered doing it

I'm at 22% for talented builder
25% for guardian angel
32% for world explorer
55% for unspeakable horrors
and 32% for plays well with others
Wow good Luck man
I’ve done a lot of very grindy platinums but the one I hated the most was Call of Duty Black Ops Declassified for the PS Vita. Way too much of repeating the same mission over and over for several trophies that demand near perfect gameplay
Completely forgot that game even existed, is it all offline?
Yup it's totally offline and still obtainable@@PlatinumBro
Friday the 13th was my worst platinum ever. Absolute grind nightmare that drains your soul.
Yeah don’t do it bro
i'm new at trophy hunting (on steam) and i choose GTA V as one of my firsts platinums and i regret it so much

Amazing video chad!
My worst plat is definitely Wolfenstein Youngblood which I got last year. I love the Wolfenstein games definitely in my 10 favourite game series. I knew Youngblood wasn't that great which yeah it definitely is not a good game but getting the platinum was so Grindy, Boring, Repetitive and would highly recommend not playing it and going for the platinum because it'll be a waste of your time
I have the plat for injustice 2, GTA 5 & Cod BO3 they're definitely not good platinums but the games themselves are fun to play!
Also! Why did Guyfarruski not talk about DMC5?!?!?!

well done! oh yea I have heard horror stories about that platinum
Max Payne 3. The Shadows Rushed Me. Hardest trophy ever
Sounds horrific, what a shame for such a beautiful game
I’m working on my first PS3 platinum since I just got me a PS3 I was thinking about doing Valhalla butt It’s really a time commitment
I wouldn’t recommend it ha
AHHHHHHHHH I was so proud of getting the Injustice 2 Plat. It was a challenge
Well done!
I'm surprised that MKX is never on these types of lists, grinding out all the factions to level 50 is one of the worst grinds I've ever done -_-
fair play dude it's about opinion really anyways
@PlatinumBro yeah I get that, think how much you enjoy the game really makes a difference though, if you're super into them then it won't be as bad
Only thing I’m gonna try from this list is chocolate and avocado

Overwatch was my most annoying platinum that I don't recommend for anyone to attempt. It sucks

I did multiversus in 49 hours
Wowza
Usually I have my phone in one hand and my third leg in the other when I have that moment where I ask myself “What possessed me to do this?”
But I can certainly remember asking myself the same thing when I decided to platinum Call Of Duty Black Ops, I still have the odd nightmarish flashback to that part of the 3rd campaign mission “SOG” where the enemies just infinitely spawn and the next checkpoint seems light years away.
I can relate to such thoughts
Dragonsbane in Neverwinter has been softened a lot in recent updates, though. Now, all kinds of dragons count, including the drakes which are far more common than proper dragons. I managed to get this trophy killing drakes for about two hours last year.
oh happy to hear it! how long do you think the plat will take now?
The worst part was that the difficulty trophies didn't stack on PS3 (they fixed it for the PS4 release) and I had to 3 playthroughs with Sora and another 3 with Riku 😅
I want to earn the plat for the PS4 versions again just to have every plat in the franchise (except the asian version of KH3). I think it would be a lot of fun but I'm not looking forward to the grind in BbS and CoM 😂
Other terrible trophy lists (but great games 😄):
- InFamous 1 for needing to collect all 350 blast shards.

Hahaha ikr! I’ve got a good amount of funny footage for when I finally get around to finishing the grind for that game
I haven’t platinumed the entire series, but I bet Yakuza 3 might have the cake of “most life waster Yakuza game”.
very valid point thats why I stopped playing it ha

Also honorable mention to the Witcher 3 and its missable Gwent cards... they can piss off.
Collectibles like are just so vile. Oh yeah Witcher 3 forgot about the gwent cards 😷

Who are you calling Sony pony? 😂 you made a 30 minute video about platinum trophies
Pahahaha touche
Although I am definitely not a simp for any company
I own the Birth by Sleep Platinum Trophy (and every KH Trophy before this)
All i can say: Square hates Trophy Hunter.
Did it on both systems. Wasn't that bad. Can leave ur system on for the time requirements

Big tip for Anthem plat, if you start a new character, you don’t have to do the tomb challenges, also all collections reset and if you collect them that you did in your first character, they will still count towards the trophy, which brings tons of hours of grinding down.
Solid tips I wish I knew hahaha
I got the Platinum in about 60 hours, I was fine with it.
I will not tolerate LEGO Star Wars or Returnal hate 😠 Although I won't lie they're both quite a grind
Hahahaha mad lad
Ki have the plat for KH3, 2 play rounds. I didn't wanted to grind for a better gummi ship, so the last space boss fight took me 1 1/5 hours. Yep, all the time shooting and moving in circles. When I think about it I still feel the pain in my thumb.
I have 5 plats on your list and that scares me. 😂
They are:
- Uncharted: Golden Abyss
- Marvel's Avengers
- Neverwinter
- Anthem
- Returnal
Small side note on Neverwinter: since they added a zone with regular dragon mobs, the grind is actually doable. 🙂
Great vid by the way!
Well done, how long would you say the grind is now? I’m tempted
Driving games can be such a grind fest man, well done though

GTA 5 really? I loved that Platinum personally. It's one game where I enjoyed going for collectibles as I was just immersed in that world. While the Online Trophies are a pain, I was fortunate enough to play during a time where there was triple RP
that's great buddy! I wouldn't say its the general opinion of the plat though hahaha
@@PlatinumBro I genuinely thought that a lot of people actually enjoyed it, I clearly was wrong 😅
I had to give up I only have 6 trophies left to obtain the platinum but there just too difficult most of them require you to pull of insane combos that I just can’t do.
i agree it's loco
Oh wow, that sounds even worse than the skywalker saga. Well done
Holy moly well done man
@PlatinumBro thank you don't recommend cod for plats if its treyarch they are known to make it hard
Gta 5 is very easy the only hard trophy was for 100% the criminal mastermind but thats it
Btw rank 100 takes 1 hour with world record labs :)
I was gonna put guitar hero on but I actually just forgot haha
@@PlatinumBro It's quite niche, but then the problem would be going through all of them to figure out which list is the worst. I don't think I have even looked through any of the newer entries to both series
No EDF game makes me sadge.
The amount of grinding you need per class to even attempt inferno difficulties safely is ungodly bad like you need 15x the armour you get the trophy for reaching to even start thinking ontop of Random weapon drops you need and 1000s of enemies killed or completion across every character on every difficulty.
Absolutely ungodly undertaking.
There was one! Most do not have guides for them which is why I chose the one I did ha
GTA 5 was my first ever platinum actually. Fun game. Bad collectibles
Far cry 3 is prob one of the best games to plat it's the only game I ever 100% on any console.
Yeah it’s pretty decent
Succubus with Guns is the worst platinum I've ever gotten. It's really short and easy but the game is so terrible and broken that I litterally had to force myself to play it.
yeah doesn't sound great haha
Doesn't look too difficult just looking at a trophy list, but World's Biggest Welch Fan is easily missable and the Ultimate Battler requires getting all 900 (nine hundred) in-game battle trophies.
yeah a lot of people have struggled with it.
oh man, games with that kind of grind are just gross man
I've gotten the platinum for 5 of these games so far. They are:
Assassin's Creed: Valhalla (100% completed too)
Injustice 2 (also 100%)
Marvel's Avengers
Grand Theft Auto V (currently at 85%, only missing the $8 million spend and 25 platinum awards in Heists, and all but the first trophy in the Doomsday Heists expansions)
Red Dead Redemption 2
I do however have plans to platinum Black Ops 3, Neverwinter, Monster Hunter World, and Diablo 2 in the future, purely because I enjoy the games.
Well done man. If you enjoy them games than I’m sure they won’t be too bad 😎
I had a look at it for my next list video and yeah I agree it’s an absolute monster
My second is street fighter 5 again suck at fighting game.
wow man, that is hella impressive
It's even more painful using a collectibles guide and still missing something 😢
Well don’t use a collectible guide until you have already beaten the game then
I have 3 plats from this list:
Monster Hunter World (working on the Iceborne plat which is insane)
Lego Star Wars, Skywalker Saga
Assassins Creed Valhalla
My most difficult plat is The Elder Scrolls Online. The emperor trophy is arguably the hardest on this list.
You’ve got the plat in elder scrolls online? WOW!
I only have Injustice 2, GTA 5, Black Ops 3 (100%) and Red Dead Redemption 2 from this list. Actually I liked to get everything but Injustice 2 is soooo luck-based... I got the platinum in ~85h
still very very impressive man
Xenoverse 1: It has like 5 layers of RNG. First: missions have hidden objectives to unlock more and even if you complete them, it's rng whether it continues.
Second: after that it's rng whether you get any drops
Third: the rng to get what you need is absolutely abysmal
Fourth: you have to collect dragonballs to make wishes. Well, it's rng whether they even show up
Fifth: pray to RNGesus that the dragonball isn't the dame one you already have.
Sounds awful tbf man
how come you picked BO3, which is just grindy, but didn't include BO4 which is completely unobtainable for anyone who isn't a skilled try hard in multiplayer? To win a flawless Blackout game in 2024 is like trying to join a game thats been around for years and you as a newbie have to defeat all the vets who know every single thing about the game. Unless you can somehow get like 20 friends into a single game and hope you won't get killed by the tryhards to boost it.
I only wanted to include one per gam franchise but dam it sounds awful man
Ok there's this easy game called birthdays the beginning.
Oh my days wtf. 6,000 hours?
Gta v i platted on 2 different accounts😂 second time was much easier
How is Resident Evil 6 that bad lol. Took me like 2 days to platinum it and it was fun to play with a friend. The DLC trophies were more annoying. And as for the farming stuff you can farm everything with ease in the online modes. Easiest RE platinum in my opinion
I did the dlc too and it broke me. I think it just ruined my experience and memory of the game to be honest
