What i liked about the older 80's castle sets were the size and modulairity. There was an inn, blacksmith and a wall section that could be fit into excisting castle sets to make it bigger. These cheaper sets were great for family members with less income. if lego would do these today, these sets should be kept affordble so people can collect 'm all over a 1 or 2 year timespan.
I think battle pack size sets is the most important type that needs a return. These sets give any theme longevity by drawing in fans new and old. Current large sets mainly target AFOLs and doesn't "replenish" the theme.
YES! battlepacks! 100%. sets like 6031, 6102, 6103. just some figures, maybe a horse. 1 or 2 factions in the box. Army building is such a fun part of castle.
@@zarda1484 fair. Yeah you can get Black Falcons, Lion Knights, Forestmen and Wolfpack (if they are in stock) right now, with whatever heads/helmets/shields/weapons. Horses too. Totally solid way to get figures for adults that happen to know about PAB. But children only going to a toy store won't see that, casual adults wont know about PAB either.
Small sets and battle packs are a MUST. Sometimes you just want the figures, and cant afford big castles. Small castle sets that combine and build a big fortress would be a blast, also small Villager sets with like 2 peasants and a soldier that can be combined intu a big city would be a blast. Like a small guard outpost and a guard house, that if you combine you get a decent WATCH TOWER would be great, then you can get as many of these as you want to make castle towers and so on.
I might be alone in this, if they can't get more D&D... they should do their own. Call it Fantasy Adventure, do a carriage ambush with Goblins, old ruins, a dungeon and so on. Good reason to bring back the Orcs, Dwarvins and introduce the Elves. Have a big tavern build. Also, give us some stand alone monsters. Like a $75 dragon or something. Love to see lego go this route.
My personal ideas for a lego castle cmf serie: 1. Black knight remake 2. King Richard remake 3. Bull knights remake 4. Griffin knight 5. Chainmail knight. 6. Green dragon knights remake (with the new armor piece from the dragonborn paladin and the expensive helmet piece brought back) 7. Priest minifigure 8. Fantasy minifigure 9. Landlord minifigure. 10 Willa the witch remake 11. Assassin minifigure 12 . Peasant minifigure
in the joust set(s) 100% needs a wolfpack pickpocket. And yes, an amush set is a must. In line with your idea, a castle line that builds up one huge castle when you collect all the sets, but make it so that each set is a proper set on its own. Like a watchtower, or a blacksmith with a wallsection in the rear. That would give you an awesome castle in the end, loads of figures. I think it could be a fun idea.
All around great ideas, especially with the Castle CMFs. I would love a modern King Richard or Princess Storm, and printed Vladek sounds awesome. I can't have the guy running around with a scorpion shirt sticker forever, Lego! Another idea might be some sort of leader for the Black Knights, we've been left in the dark on that for too long.
For my castle diorama I created a custom Lion Knight soldier using a well-preserved torso from the 80s sporting the crossed axes and the fitting new shield included in the 10305 castle. I imagine the axes sub-faction representing somthing like an elite unit or maybe a personal guard assigned to some royalty.
Need a Kraken Knights Faction Set could be a Knightly Ship, Beachfront Castle, Sea Raids a Kraken Knights Ship vs some Smaller Pirate Ships. I really like the color they chose for the Kraken Knight, I just hope they capitalize on it.
It drives me crazy to keep seeing people say they won’t do a castle line. I know lego likes their big expensive sets, but I think it could work for sure. And the cmf series is a no brainer.
@@BrickingUpBrad I also think they should do a line of smaller dnd sets. They could have a piece of “The Rod of Seven Parts” in each set so they get their chase collection item.

YES! Smaller sets that can be combined would be amazing, like combining the blacksmith and the inn with a baker a butcher a lumberjack small sets you get a Village or a town. Same for small castle sets like a guard outpost and a guard house that you can combine intu a watch tower and later in castle towers, small sets that People can afford.
$20 Battle Packs and bring back the People Packs for peasents. I'm also so done with the $300+ sets. With the price of a single one of the big sets they've been releasing, someone could've gotten a full wave of sets ($5 + $10 + $20 + $30 + $40 + $50 + $100 sets and _STILL_ have room for more!) Edit: Oh yeah, they need to bring back black and gunmetal chestplates, visors, and tournament helmets!
Knight pavilions would be great add-on sets for a tournament main kit. Lego's next siege engine needs to be a trebuchet. It might be interesting to see some Leonardo da Vinci constructs if they want to do something a bit more wild. There are two things that I absolutely think that Lego should introduce, and they'd actually go quite nicely together. First, a medieval Roman (byzantine) inspired faction (you can use the current Vikings lamellar torso with some dark red limbs and pearl dark gray helmets to make a decent approximation for now, but something official would be better). Second, a modular system of fortifications and castle parts (they could even try out different color combinations, say brick red and sand yellow for a Theodosian Walls look) to allow for mix-and-match castle or city wall design.
Honestly they just need to do more factions inspired by other parts of the world like ninja and vikings! I 100 percent agree about doing modular fortification system!
Great vid, and well put. On the Castle CMF, there's enough content here for three or four waves for sure. So agreed it would be nice to get many updates on the biggest named characters first, get those secured before moving onto other stuff. Willa is just begging to be updated!
Seeing joust sets made me think of the jousting tournament in Blood and Wine. Would be cool to get game centered Geralt, Yennefer, Triss, Ciri, Dandelion, and Zoltan. Any witcher related set would be easily integrated into medieval theme.
I agree, the nostalgia fix doesn’t require remakes. New or updated factions are fine, new torsos prints, barding, flags, and shields need to keep rotating into PAB.
I totally agree with you that we need new factions as well and a tournament. HOEVER we need to go through all the old ones to get it out of our system - one every year or 2 would be great if they would put out some other sets as well. Remake Fuel (1 remake set per year + the creator 3in1+1 GWP each year that will hopefully not annoy everybody and wouldn't hide behind too much of a paywall) - 1str year we need a blakc knights set for the dragon plumes and shields (and what better way to do this than have a remake of the raised base plate castle - like eldorado - maybe a tad bigger?) - 1st year GWP - the dream would be a wolfpack tower, but I would go for the renegades as well if the tower is too big. (the wolfpack tower could be an alternate modes in the 3in1 castle as they use similarly colored pieces) - early 1st year since we're doing the black knights (or at least in this versions of things we do) and we will lose the 3in1 black creator castle (this would be available for longer - maybe even 5 years), this would be a good place to make the normal square black knights castle with added functionality to attack it to the raised base castle(but add some more variety to it - instead of only black knights, we can have a black knight + hourse and barding, an archer and a pikeman + 1 wolfpack prisoner) - this could also work (with small addons) as a dragon knight or even royal knight castle). - 2nd year, we could get a dragon masters set (I am unsure what would be best to be remade - but maybe a smaller set like the dragon's den, so we can have a new molded dragon and shields + the plumes, maybe a decent Majisto please?) - 2nd year GWP again, the dream would be the Sea Serpent ship (and we could reuse the Black falcons as well so lego has a reason to keep them around) - 3rd or so year we could have the royal knights - and this is the most important thing here. They need a slight redesign to make them fit with the other factions (the lion head needs to be closer to what they did with the lion knights - and they should as much as possible, be a variation on them with more white in their minifigs - I know everybody loves the main castle, and I love the drawbridge, but this would be a really good opportunity to release 2 paired up sets, like thei did with jabba barge and sarlac pit and give us a new raised based plate out of bricks and the cute side tower with bridge - even make it a GWP if it's small enough for that, I would buy 2 castles at full price just to get this GWP). 3rd year GWP since we already got the Majisto shack, we could use this to make a small GWP for the Lion Knights and the Black falcons (one of those bit of wall + small siege engine remaster) -4th year we are getting the revamped outlaws (and nothing would be better than the awesome ambush set with new building techniques) and they could make torsos that properly reflect the fact that they are remastered forestmen and wolfpack and just give them rugged alternatives with similar designs (a tattered forestmen torso, a small wolfpack insignia like the CMF, etc) - and they could do something fancy and create a proper story here, reusing the 2 dragon factions - and finally telling us why the dragon knights had black knight shields. 4th year GWP We could have that iconic royal knights small guard tower with a skeleton dropping down from the sealing. -5th year we're going full on the Fright Knights - and they can really go ham here, with full skeleton or undead armies, a black dragon, the awesome tower remade with modern techniques in such a way that nobody will ever need the old castle set ever again. Also they need to remake all the various soldiers here. Willa will most likely be a CMF by now or in the GWP. 5th year GWP we will need to get a redesigned hemlock fortress (or at the very least a fancy ambush set with the new outlaws - maybe sneak in a bull knight in here) 6th year we will get the last of the classics, the bull knights - a super awesome siege engine collection here - with some blue-er lion knights for variety ready to besiege the 3in1 castle that would be retiring this year. This would be the last faction remade and from here on out, just new sets with CMF factions or a revisit on the more popular factions, like Lion Knights and Black Falcons. 6th year GWP this is the spot where we could have Wlilla's windship with the molded dragon if they do decide to make one. During these 6 years of remakes they could revisit the entire history of lego castle, fill in small lore bits, add new ones (I would even go as far as say that Willa could the the year 1 GWP so we can have her do her machinations and have everybody fight each other until her inevitable defeat. Or we could just have the sets. During these 6 year we can have a line of village sets - like the city space ones now - (3 or so each year, a smaller one for quick upgrades, a medium one with village life or a small farm and a bigger one that is some sort of building to add to the village). These would have peasants and all the animals you could ever need to make a village, agricultural instruments, mills, so on. Also during these years a series of battlepacks (2 each year- why 2? so we make up for lost time, as we already have 4 factions out) - 1 knight with horse (or equivalently geared outlaw + 2 normal soldiers and some weapons, armor and supplies. Now, the fun part. The set you talked about, the Royal Joust. Here's where those battlepacks come in (basically allowing for all the remade factions to participate) and the set itself should come in pieces. I don't understand why for the love of efficiency why lego refues to split their sets, but I hope they would do here, making 1 each year: - year 1 we start with the fancy royal stands (with 1 king, 1 queen, at least 2 othe nobles, 2 peasants to serve them, and 2 knights - new factions + 1 tent for each of them, and these need to be easily customizable from normal parts to make the other faction's tents from your own parts. - year 2 we should get a marksmanship range with at least 3 bullseyes, a few bows on the side on a rack and an additional stand that links to the royal one on one side (with 3 city civilians to watch the games and 2 competitors - maybe variations for outlaws?) - year 3 we might get the melee pit with an improvised sitting area around it for the spectators here (3 roughed up civilians that look a bit dirtier / worked a heavy knight with the best possible armor lego can fashion and ornate helmet, greatsword and shield and another normal-er knight, both new or CMF factions) - year 4 another stand to attach at the ther side of the royal stand and some food item vendors, maybe even a blacksmith / shieldpainter / armoer seller (2 peasants and 3 vendors + a lot of accesories) - Year 5 The carnival is coming to town and we would have some medieval games and a stage (1 peasant, 1 jester, 1 strong man, 2 actors for that stage and some improvised stools for the audience) - Year 6 this would see the culmination of this combo set and we would add a a tent with a fortuneteller and a carriage that sells rare valuables (1 noble to get his fortune read, 1 peasant, 1 fortuneteller and 1 shopkeeper) Accompanying the yearly new releases, We would have at least 1 new faction each year, maybe even variation on existing factions (like we got the silver / red falcons), and maybe one set each year would be either a sieve engine with the years faction or a medium sized tower - these would be modular and able to fit together into a bigger build. This is a really good place to bring in lesser known torso remakes, like the ones in the golden castle or the other non affiliated torsos from lego castle history. It's sad that lego doesn't have enough faith in castle to do something big like this, especially now with DnD and LOTR coming back, but these sets would be really really good companions for those franchise sets and would help people diversity their DnD setting or just make a LOTR village around the inevitable Edoras or Minas Tirith. Also these sets would be 100% lego's profit and they would bring out new torsos and factions each year to be used in the great Bricklink program so we don't have to get lions and falcons and wolves until we die of old age. After these 6 years, depending how well DnD does, and how well these do, they could just remake the fantasy era as well and continue remaking the other factions as well. This would be the dream I guess.
@@BrickingUpBrad I agree, but they will unlikely remake smaller sets as normal sets. I would prefer them to be buyable (especially since I like to buy at least 3 of each set I like, more if I really REALLY like it - unlimited supplies if it's good battlepacks)
RE: Farm sets - I admit I picked up the city chicken coop set largely for the coop, the chickens, and the eggs. All to add to my Creator's Medieval 3-in-1 set to replace the constructed chickens. (I also wanted the red helmet to use with an old classic space figure, giving them an updated look with a vizor. The ATV and farm girl got given to a friend, as I don't do city.) Looking to get a rat through the CMF and maybe some birds, too. Already have the falconer CMF so that replaced the giant brick raven, too. So, yeah. Easy access to animals and to expand, say, a fortress outpost would be nice.
@@BrickingUpBrad And other things. I got Vladec via the Vladec Encounter set, and he didn't come with a shield. Been using a spare bull shield for him for the time being, but I would love to get one with the scorpion crest.
A dark knights port for the sea serpent ( like the lion port from BLDP) ! A lavoir ! A whole medieval fair ! An herborist shop ! A whole elven faction ! A wandering knight in Byzantine style ! A copist workshop ! A leather workshop ! More troubadours ! By the way : turkeys came from the americas, so no Turkey in medieval Europe 😅
Man I love the idea of a tournament line with, jousting, archery, duals and whatnot that would be awesome especially if they included a new faction or 2 like you mentioned! Also I love that turkey leg roasting build haha!
Right! Like there is so much they could do with it! It would also allow lego to do more peasant stuff. Like we have gotten jousting sets but they have so many new builds they could do with a tournament!
here's an idea; medieval hosptial or field hospital set. have a single set or at least a couple of sets looking at the medical field during the medieval period in a non-religious manner. (yes, I know Western hospitals were made by the Knights Hospitaller Order. But that should be enough of a difference for Lego to consider the idea)
These are great set ideas, but I think Lego should make whole new factions. I think they can keep remaking old factions in there Icons theme, but create an entirely new line of factions for a new Castle theme!
It's fun to dream, but yeah I'd hazard a guess that the next castle set (probably in another two years) will continue the big box theme and a large joust feels like a good possibility. It's an iconic colourful setting, works as a standalone set or an add on for previous collectors.
If they were to do a tournament set, I would NOT want Black Falcons and Lion Knights, as we already have plenty of those, and barding, etc., is still available on PAB. I would much prefer factions we have not had 'refreshed' yet, or the two of the four factions available to vote on for the Ideas set. Also, I would love to see "add on" sets for a tournament set. Sets would include a knight, his horse and barding, a squire, weapon rack, and tent, with several different factions available, so you could bulk up your tournament as funds allowed.
Wait about those castle sets coming out from the BLD program? There is a Wolfpack hideout that is under its final review for next Lego Idea release. Other than the Wolfpack hideout I don't see anything else coming out. Great video
I don’t consider bricklink designer sets actual Lego sets. Also yes a lot of castle is Lego ideas but I don’t think they will be doing any more castle ideas sets
I wouldn't consider them either since they are of limited stock and sell out fast, so most of us end up missing out to a degree that it's best to just not even consider them.
@@arbitrary2868 There are some other Wolfpack sets on rebrickable and MOCBoxing that you can get. Lux bricks did a number that were pretty good and we have all but one on our website, but any that you want we can get the parts for
Honestly I think the most likely thing would be a big d2c tourney set like you mentioned. Getting a bunch of unique knights & bardings would be enough to sell it for me lol
Oh 100 percent! Joust and cmfs are the only sets I bet they would do! But I agree if they add some new factions and bardings it would be an amazing set!
If we ever got a full blown joust tournament set, I'd love to see what they'd give the more fantasy factions as animals to ride The skeletons could come with unique skeleton horse barding The trolls could have a warg The dwarves could just have a mine cart, with some horse accessories they added on to convince everyone else it's a horse 😂
I’m more hopeful that they’ll make some more castle themed sets however, I think we all understand there is not gonna be a theme under Lego for castle. It’s not to say that it’s because fans don’t want it and such but it’s mainly because it doesn’t sell well with kids. If it doesn’t sell well for kids, it’s not gonna happen for us adults. the theme died out 10 years ago. Then they tried NEXO Knights and that didn’t work. I think they know that icons will do way better just not theme. LEGO won’t pour money into something that doesn’t generate the money. And with how most of us reacted with the recent medieval town Square, I’m more scared that we won’t get set because of how people reacted. It’s a great set and I know there’s some things that were kind of iffy about it, but I think more people need to be appreciative of Legos given us in the past four years. The amount of GWPs we have gotten, it shows they actually want to give us things in Castle, They just can’t find a way to make it a consistent thing. If they have to make DND playset play games whatever, so be it that’s what I’ll make my castle theme. but I do hope us as LEGO fans and castle fans we could find a way to build more positivity and less negativity
And I want a Unicorn. Sorry couldn’t help it 😂 Great video and great ideas. Hey you never know, seems like the adult oriented big sets is the set direction for castle.
If or when they do a castle CMF i highly doubt that it would have so many knight like characters. It would just be kinda repetative and the CMFs strong suit was always a nice variety of figures.
If they ever do another Castle theme they NEED to make an evil fortress and evil royal family! It's always the good guys defending their castle from the bad guys. We got some outpost type sets in Kingdoms and 2013 Castle, but the last non-LOTR evil fortress we got was Troll Mountain Fortress! We need a proper evil castle for the good guys to besiege and use new, good aligned siege equipment on! Something similar to Vladek's Dark Fortress. Another thing we need, in my own opinion, is an Evil royal family. Why are all the Dragon factions lead by wizards and not monarchs?! I would love to see an Evil faction with a King, Queen, Prince and maybe even a Princess! Supported by a court wizard, a general and perhaps a court Jester? I just feel that newer Castle themes don't have as memorable Villains. Cool soldiers but no real distinct leaders. Just my personal opinion. What do you guys think?
A re-make of Bulls Attack would be great but personally I want the Bulls to finally get a set which is like a small hideout/base for them similar to a Forestmen or Dark Forest set with its own little Bull faction flavour to it. Since the official lore says they live and hide out in the forest surrounding Leo's castle. Maybe have some play feature that is a trap for unfortunate Lion solders because the Bull soldier Weezil makes traps around the forest. Heck maybe even sneak in a little easter egg that the hideout was once Forestmen/Dark Forest territory but Cedric and his Bulls drove them out so now this part of the forest is his territory. Considering Lego's nowadays policy about nearly every theme now needs a token female character/minifig I wouldn't be surprised if we got a female member of the Bull's faction. Which I don't think is a bad idea. She could be like a sort of foil to Princess Storm or even Cedric's lover. Also yes! I so want an updated CMF of Cedric!
@@BrickingUpBrad I always thought Cedric was supposed to have a red cape if you take note of the top part of his torso but they just ended up not giving him one so would be great to give him one. I guess it makes sense for him to not have one because living in the forest it would get caught on bushes and stuff but it could be a ripped and torn one because of this as well as it would fit Cedric's character of being a royal who turned outlaw. Just hope they don't get rid of Cedric's grey eyes and replace them with plain black ones. Also I hope they at least give him a hair piece alongside his helmet which resembles his classic hair since Lego really doesn't make heads with hair printed on them anymore. (Basil lost his widow's peak hair nooo!) I just cannot see Cedric without his barbarian hair (or whatever you'd call his hair). You know that Lego Castle faction vote from back in May which gave us a peak at 2 new factions called the Krakens and Griffin's? I'm kind of hoping at least either of these new factions will be the answer to something regarding Cedric's backstory: Cedric is the 13th prince of a king from a far distant kingdom and land. We never find out who this king was, what faction he was king of and what this land looked like. We also never get to see the emblem of this faction (I think the Bull is Cedric's personal emblem not the royal emblem of his family). So I am hoping either the Krakens or Griffins could turn out to be the faction Cedric's father was king of and where Cedric was from. Considering Cedric has 12 older brothers maybe we could finally get to see some of his brothers because the lore says after their father died the princes all were given pieces of land to rule. That is except for Cedric......yeah there was somehow no land left for him when it was his turn to receive a share.
Well im thinking they can probaly well i will hope for more horse like appaloosa and shire. oh i cannot to forget unicorn and probaly alicorn like mlp you can make a custom with wings from marvel pegasus
a lot of questions but first i love your channel! but i ask you lego should ...i want... new sets.. lego maust make battle packs.. what with your own imagination.. if you want to add a house in medieval city.. why don't make one yourself ? use your own creativity. same as askonk for a new mill set (or a new building for animals)? what you ask are new minfigs.. yes i love more factions but i create them by myself..
When it comes to Lego I’m a collector. I absolutely love the sets and also love to see what Lego comes up with. On top of that I know a lot of kids and people don’t do a lot of moc building and want sets with these kinds of things. That makes it more accessible to them. Yes I do do Mocs but I don’t always have the time for them. Mocs take a lot of energy for me. Where as building a Lego set takes a lot less. When it comes to new factions. Well I love collecting minifigures and making my own. New factions mean new parts for me to customize with.
The rascus minifigure helmet in gun metal grey or black please lego, i loved that helmet. Also, I really want a female orc cmf to go with our most recent orc cmf, she would sell like crazy.
A Castle CMF line would sell insanely, I don’t understand how they haven’t done one yet. However if they do a CMF line, they really need to make sure all characters in it are equally interesting. For example, if you put a new Black Knight in it, with new armor and new weapon and then next to it a Willa, you are making the CMF line unbalanced. Everyone will want 30 Black Knights, but you would only need 1 Willa. Unbalanced CMF lines, create scalping and even stealing and leave the ‘normal buyer’ with multiples of the less desirable figures and thus dissapointed.
I really hope a cmf series with 3 knights, a king or queen and some peasants, its very hard to get peasants. If they do that... Thats instant millions of profit.
It's a shame Lego is so half-hearted about castle/medieval sets compared to when it was an actual theme they supported :( But BlueBrixx, Funwhole, and Kiddicraft now make full medieval lines, so we still have great options.
@@OrchidsCattailswe were not “promised” kraken knights. We were promised the winner, one figure in one specific claw machine set, that’s all ( and the Krakens aren’t garinteed to have won )
True. Unfortunately all they seem to care about is licensed sets like Star Wars and Harry Potter and Marvel. The unlicensed sets we all grew up with are few and far between now.
Watching this video makes me wish there was a Palio of Siena set, or any set that authentically depicts the medieval festivals that are celebrated throughout Tuscany (and many parts of Europe). It would be so cool if there were designs for each of the 17 "contrade" in Siena. I can vouch for MOCBoxing's quality service! They have everything!!!!
LEGO Castle in 2024 is too optimized for extracting every penny from adult fans. It's hard for me to believe they'd make battle packs, when they know we'd pay $5 for a randomized cmf.
RE: Characters - Not only do I agree, but I've proposed to Lego that they revive the 3.75 inch figures so that the bodies be customizable with minifigure heads and accessories. And, characters would be a good way to do it. I'm wanting a larger line of figures for RPG display purposes. Got the idea from the 'character backpack' from the Heroica sets. That, and then you could interact with other such lines of figures for mix-and-match styles of play without feeling weird. Finally, there are many minifigure accessories that fit better to that scale. Many swords, cups and so on are huge on regular minifigures.
How does a LEGO rounded tip sword pierce armor? It doesn’t 😂 such a dumb design. They need to retire that dumb part but produce new castle sets with touches of inspiration from old sets as you mentioned.
Thanks to MOCBoxing for the custom joust set! Check out MOCBoxing to get custom Lego sets or to sell your Mocs: mocboxing.com/discount/brickingup
I do agree with you that they should release battle pack . At least, the price is more affordable for those new comers and army builders.
You don't need castle battle packs when you can buy all the parts from bricks and prices
I don't think the smaller sets should just be about the figures though. We should get some cool medieval builds at all price ranges.
Can't agreed more. The latest 3 in 1 creator only come with 3 soldiers!? I mean...seriously!
@cww4437 yeah the sets feel empty, mini figures packs would fit like a glove.
All great picks!
Yup %100 agree with all these ideas for sets, only one i would add personally is a remake of Sea Serpeant for Black Knights
OHHH I forgot about boats! Honestly they need to just do more boats in general!
@BrickingUpBrad just need more castle! Affordable at that
in the joust set(s) 100% needs a wolfpack pickpocket.
A castle that’s a bunch of modular parts would be awesome! Especially if they were well built and detailed!
Thanks for showing off all we do from us over at MOCBoxing!
Happy to do it! Can't wait to see what MOCBoxing does in the future!
I would love to order but shipping to the UK is too high for me :(
@@KosmikGamerwe are working on making international orders easier but it has been difficult to find the right shipping companies
This is what I'm talking about. More castle builds, and PLEASE have em modular!
100 percent!
honestly baffling that lego hasnt ressurected castle yet
Agreed!
I would like a lumber yard, a small bakery, and a fishing port because I want King Quest 5 sort of town vibes.
Those would be great!
All of these!!! Now!
😆That's the best complement!
With the price of a single one of the big sets they've been releasing, someone could've gotten a full wave of sets ($5 + $10 + $20 + $30 + $40 + $50 + $100 sets and _STILL_ have room for more!)
Edit: Oh yeah, they need to bring back black and gunmetal chestplates, visors, and tournament helmets!
Small sets are a must. Specially if you can combine them intu a bigger set.
We can dream!!!!!
These are my Lego Dreamzzz
Knights pavillons in BLDP series 4😊
Great vid, and well put. On the Castle CMF, there's enough content here for three or four waves for sure. So agreed it would be nice to get many updates on the biggest named characters first, get those secured before moving onto other stuff. Willa is just begging to be updated!
These are all great ideas. I would like a tournament set for sure.
Fingers crossed!
Seeing joust sets made me think of the jousting tournament in Blood and Wine. Would be cool to get game centered Geralt, Yennefer, Triss, Ciri, Dandelion, and Zoltan. Any witcher related set would be easily integrated into medieval theme.
That would be cool
What about a Byzantine style faction?
That would be cool!
Remake Fuel (1 remake set per year + the creator 3in1+1 GWP each year that will hopefully not annoy everybody and wouldn't hide behind too much of a paywall)
- 1str year we need a blakc knights set for the dragon plumes and shields (and what better way to do this than have a remake of the raised base plate castle - like eldorado - maybe a tad bigger?)
- 1st year GWP - the dream would be a wolfpack tower, but I would go for the renegades as well if the tower is too big. (the wolfpack tower could be an alternate modes in the 3in1 castle as they use similarly colored pieces)
- early 1st year since we're doing the black knights (or at least in this versions of things we do) and we will lose the 3in1 black creator castle (this would be available for longer - maybe even 5 years), this would be a good place to make the normal square black knights castle with added functionality to attack it to the raised base castle(but add some more variety to it - instead of only black knights, we can have a black knight + hourse and barding, an archer and a pikeman + 1 wolfpack prisoner) - this could also work (with small addons) as a dragon knight or even royal knight castle).
- 2nd year, we could get a dragon masters set (I am unsure what would be best to be remade - but maybe a smaller set like the dragon's den, so we can have a new molded dragon and shields + the plumes, maybe a decent Majisto please?)
- 2nd year GWP again, the dream would be the Sea Serpent ship (and we could reuse the Black falcons as well so lego has a reason to keep them around)
- 3rd or so year we could have the royal knights - and this is the most important thing here.
3rd year GWP since we already got the Majisto shack, we could use this to make a small GWP for the Lion Knights and the Black falcons (one of those bit of wall + small siege engine remaster)
-4th year we are getting the revamped outlaws (and nothing would be better than the awesome ambush set with new building techniques) and they could make torsos that properly reflect the fact that they are remastered forestmen and wolfpack and just give them rugged alternatives with similar designs (a tattered forestmen torso, a small wolfpack insignia like the CMF, etc) - and they could do something fancy and create a proper story here, reusing the 2 dragon factions - and finally telling us why the dragon knights had black knight shields.
5th year GWP we will need to get a redesigned hemlock fortress (or at the very least a fancy ambush set with the new outlaws - maybe sneak in a bull knight in here)
6th year we will get the last of the classics, the bull knights - a super awesome siege engine collection here - with some blue-er lion knights for variety ready to besiege the 3in1 castle that would be retiring this year.
I don't understand why for the love of efficiency why lego refues to split their sets, but I hope they would do here, making 1 each year:
- year 1 we start with the fancy royal stands (with 1 king, 1 queen, at least 2 othe nobles, 2 peasants to serve them, and 2 knights - new factions + 1 tent for each of them, and these need to be easily customizable from normal parts to make the other faction's tents from your own parts.
- year 2 we should get a marksmanship range with at least 3 bullseyes, a few bows on the side on a rack and an additional stand that links to the royal one on one side (with 3 city civilians to watch the games and 2 competitors - maybe variations for outlaws?)
- year 3 we might get the melee pit with an improvised sitting area around it for the spectators here (3 roughed up civilians that look a bit dirtier / worked a heavy knight with the best possible armor lego can fashion and ornate helmet, greatsword and shield and another normal-er knight, both new or CMF factions)
- year 4 another stand to attach at the ther side of the royal stand and some food item vendors, maybe even a blacksmith / shieldpainter / armoer seller (2 peasants and 3 vendors + a lot of accesories)
- Year 5 The carnival is coming to town and we would have some medieval games and a stage (1 peasant, 1 jester, 1 strong man, 2 actors for that stage and some improvised stools for the audience)
- Year 6 this would see the culmination of this combo set and we would add a a tent with a fortuneteller and a carriage that sells rare valuables (1 noble to get his fortune read, 1 peasant, 1 fortuneteller and 1 shopkeeper)
Accompanying the yearly new releases, We would have at least 1 new faction each year, maybe even variation on existing factions (like we got the silver / red falcons), and maybe one set each year would be either a sieve engine with the years faction or a medium sized tower - these would be modular and able to fit together into a bigger build.
Some great ideas but GWPs are the worst way they can go.
@@BrickingUpBrad I agree, but they will unlikely remake smaller sets as normal sets. I would prefer them to be buyable (especially since I like to buy at least 3 of each set I like, more if I really REALLY like it - unlimited supplies if it's good battlepacks)
Great Video! I would love to see more affordable LEGO Castle Sets!
Same here!
The ATV and farm girl got given to a friend, as I don't do city.)
Looking to get a rat through the CMF and maybe some birds, too. Already have the falconer CMF so that replaced the giant brick raven, too. So, yeah. Easy access to animals and to expand, say, a fortress outpost would be nice.
CMF line is great for animals!

I would love to see a medieval ship, something similar to the 7029 Skeleton Ship Attack.
Love your videos man! Keep up the good work
Thank you so much!
Yes, battle packs. Well, really all the ones mentioned. 😂👍🏻😉
Yeah we need battle packs😂
This is a great video. I fully endorse all the ideas!
Ayyy thanks so much!!
i like the idea of a castle theme, with the foresters. something like a foresters having their own castle.
These are great set ideas, but I think Lego should make whole new factions. I think they can keep remaking old factions in there Icons theme, but create an entirely new line of factions for a new Castle theme!
If LEGO followed this advice they would make MILLIONS!
True!
I am all for more less expensive castle sets plus a cmf series for just castle.
It's fun to dream, but yeah I'd hazard a guess that the next castle set (probably in another two years) will continue the big box theme and a large joust feels like a good possibility. It's an iconic colourful setting, works as a standalone set or an add on for previous collectors.
Yeah sadly the next set will be a D2C if they do another one.
@@BrickingUpBrad if they made a bunch of modular small sets they would roll in money... but they rather ninjago 😢
I feel so inspired listening to this! Great ideas as always Brad!
Glad to hear it!
But I agree if they add some new factions and bardings it would be an amazing set!
would be a dream if lego made those sets
Agreed!
I just want medieval fantasy Elves !!!
That would be great!
yeah man! The Bull Faction!! Love them
They are so cool and unique!
I think it would be intresting if lego had a lego classics theme where every year they release a wave on castle, pirates or space.
I 100 percent agree! If they won’t make individual themes then this would be the next best move!
If we ever got a full blown joust tournament set, I'd love to see what they'd give the more fantasy factions as animals to ride
The skeletons could come with unique skeleton horse barding
The trolls could have a warg
The dwarves could just have a mine cart, with some horse accessories they added on to convince everyone else it's a horse 😂
😂😂😂
I want them all🥰 Great video!!
Thank you!
A Blacksmith and a jousting tournament are well overdue 🧙🏻♂
6:10 Turkeys didnt exist in Medieval Europe. But yeah, new Lego animals would be great
True, I was just trying to think of farm animals.
@@BrickingUpBradsheeps, ducks, hairy cows, geese, ferrets (used for hunting)...
I totally agree with you
Thank you!
And I want a Unicorn. Sorry couldn’t help it 😂 Great video and great ideas. Hey you never know, seems like the adult oriented big sets is the set direction for castle.
I'd still like a new version of the medieval boat (the OG one) that was had a dragon knight and a falcon knight.
That would be amazing!
If or when they do a castle CMF i highly doubt that it would have so many knight like characters. It would just be kinda repetative and the CMFs strong suit was always a nice variety of figures.
I agree there probably wouldn’t be as many knights. But I would like at least a few of them.
Brick link is releasing a siege tower and trebuchet set in the design program series 4! Our dream is coming true !
Personally I would prefer it if they made it as an actual set. I,m not a huge fan of the brick link designer program.
And i hope next Dungeons & Dragons old tv show
If they ever do another Castle theme they NEED to make an evil fortress and evil royal family!
That would also be cool!
Both of those would be cool!
I've been using the lotr seige weapons with my army
Nice!
Truuueeee!!!!
I agree Brad, but can we show some love to the Dragon Masters and a certain blue wizard? 🧙🏻♂
They would also be cool to be brought back!
We neea a yellow castle with a king and a princess set. Bring back the yellow castle as a kingdom
Remastered bull dude but instead of chrome armor he has silver would be cool
That would be cool!
Like metallic silver or pearl silver?
Black raven vs the new lego faction (dark red griffons?) So we finally get the black ravens horse barding 🙏
That would be good but it definitely won’t be dark red griffins
I think the ambush is a great idea, but I don't like the knights joust
To each there own
I'm in favour of most of these suggestion
Let’s go!
It's a shame Lego is so half-hearted about castle/medieval sets compared to when it was an actual theme they supported :( But BlueBrixx, Funwhole, and Kiddicraft now make full medieval lines, so we still have great options.
Yeah I wish they would do more
we all know LEGO is too hesitant to make any of this
Let's be honest. Lego is definitely not going to make a new Lego Castle series. This is not the same Lego company that it used to be, after all.
Dont be so negative! We were promised kraken knights...
Yes, it is a more disappointing Lego.
@@zanlan79 It doesn’t make sense to me as they should have a larger margin on a non licensed set.
vladek was always underrated
So was Cedric....
Agreed!
I just want affordable sets that can had for everyone

Absolutely nailed it, Brad. This is a great outline for a new theme and CMF series. No notes.
Ayy thanks! Now let’s just hope Lego does some of this😂
Please, LEGO, watch this 🙏
Right!!! 😂😂😂
who neeeds villagers? give me knights

That would definitely be an amazing set!
LEGO Castle in 2024 is too optimized for extracting every penny from adult fans.
It's hard for me to believe they'd make battle packs, when they know we'd pay $5 for a randomized cmf.
I mean they did a space line. I can see them doing a castle one!
Why would a battle pack be $50
I didn’t say a battle pack should be $50…
RE: Characters - Not only do I agree, but I've proposed to Lego that they revive the 3.75 inch figures so that the bodies be customizable with minifigure heads and accessories.
That would defiantly be intresting!
6 views in 1 minute? Bro fell of (jk)

Definately not gonna happen.
A man can dream
We've already got 2 new revealed factions so what do you know
Sadly they're all in on Star Wars and Harry Potter garbage.
How does a LEGO rounded tip sword pierce armor? It doesn’t 😂 such a dumb design. They need to retire that dumb part but produce new castle sets with touches of inspiration from old sets as you mentioned.
