I remember having the old school ninja turtles from the 80's or 90's....my mother still keeps them all in storage...haha...#3kgiveaway...
Were they yours from childhood or was she just collecting them for you?
@bitesizegeek no they were mine...I remember watching the OG cartoon series, then having the cartoons on VHS...I would show my mom the toy commercials or cartoon and she would take me to Toys R Us to get them...these were the OG figures with rubber heads and brown weapons...I had the ninja turtles carrying case, turtle blimp, a big plush Donatello on my bed and sheets and comforter...yeah...Cowabunga!! Haha...

When I was growing up, there wasn't a collecting craze like there is today...maybe collectors knew to get multiples and store them away, but me being a child, my mother had no clue there was such things as a collector hobby...she would just buy them for me, and store them away as I got older and outgrew them...I still have old, dingy Star Wars figures from the early 80's...LOL
I black washed my Mikey from the comic book figure series, it looks really good #3kgiveaway
I have yet to try my hand at painting/customizing a figure. I have a few figures I could try with, though.
