    Trained by Kanan, Ezra and (presumably) Ahsoka in lightsaber combat and Jedi traditions paired with her Mandalorian culture, honor and traditions. Sabine is probably the closest to being a Jedi without having the Force

      That's how I see it. Sabine is a Mandalorian, trained in combat by some formidable Jedi.. You don't need to be force-sensitive to be a badass. Just look at Thrawn for example.

      How you can fight with a Jedi on lightsabers and survive more than 2 seconds? Without force you will not feel how opponent will attack next. No chance. That's why lightsabers for normal people are useless. Can't deflect laser, can't fight melee versus strong with force opponent.

    • @GREATRJ1

      @@matespider there are plenty of times where what you have said is debunked. a few easier ones to go by are the mandalorians, clone troopers and cad bane a few lesser known ones are durge and mandalore the ultimate. plus mandalorians are basicly the supreme jedi killers having tools specificly designed to combat jedi abillities. and then the lightsaber point you brought up while difficult can be done ( the darksaber is an example as well sabine in this show )

    In MY opinion, Sabine isnt force sensative. But she does hold onto Ezra's light saber. Sabine held the Dark Saber and was being trained by Kanan to wield it, and briefly by Ahsoka. Calling her master could mean a buttload of things: mocking that relationship, or submitting to her training. Anyway, glad we are getting 2 episodes lol

    Sabine being force sensitive was hinted throughout Rebels. Two scenes that come to mind right away is Sabine vs Gar Saxon. They play the force theme before transitioning to Sabines theme. They only ever play the force theme when showing someone who's a force sensitive. E.g. Luke looking over the twin suns in a New Hope and Ezra sensing Kanan for the first time. Second thing is Trials of the Darksaber. A lot in that episode but the part that sticks out to me most is Sabine kicking the rock that ended up being Bendu. Bendu reveals himself and looks at Sabine. Cut scene. That wasn't for nothing.

    I'd be careful to read too much into Sabine's "Master" quip. While I'm open to her being "questionably force sensitive," it could simply mean that she did some training with Ahsoka inspired by Jedi philosophy or physical training that a non-force sensitive could possibly do, like some lightsaber training (we see her using one in the trailer)--beyond that I won't comment as it is a spoiler for Rebels.

    • @fasstaerke
      @fasstaerke ปีที่แล้ว +1

      true. the interesting part is still that some kind of training must have happened and, timeline wise (hair length), it must have happened between the rebels finale (ezras and thrawns end) and the rebels epilogue, cause as we see her cutting her hair and then the rebels finale shot with short hair tho long hair scenes must happen BEFORE she picks her up in rebels, there must be a stroy linking them between the rebels finale and epilogue. interesting

    Great reaction, you two. The trailer was epic. So, Sabine, over the last 11 years, has gone from not just being a Mandalorian warrior and weapons innovator/expert, The Victor of The Darksaber, the custodian of Ezra Bridger's lightsaber, and a Rebel Alliance Veteran...but, she's apparently tapped in to some mild Force-sensitivity within her. This adds even more fuel to my theory/hope that, when all is said and done (like in the last scenes of Dave Filoni's theatrical film), Jedi Master Luke Skywalker will gift his makeshift yellow lightsaber (from Shadows Of The Empire) to Sabine Wren.

      I personally disagree. When I saw this I was so confused.
      I have watched Rebels multiple times and I personally have not seen her being force-sensetive at all. She never once had the force guide her even when she was so surrounded by it that if she was force-sensitive it must have registered with her.
      She also learned to fight with a Lightsaber in a very different way to what we have seen from other Jedi-Training so far (not without seeing but with all the stances and much more logical as Kanan had to describe how a lightsaber works to her)
      I personally really hope they don't make Sabine another Padawan as we need a non-force-user lead in these mystical StarWars Shows in my opinion and I also really liked how she was a lightsaber-user without the force (instead using Mandalorian Gadgets)

      Anyone using the Dark Saber in Star Wars should have some force abilities of some kind even if it's very limited. The lore of Star Wars suggest that be a thing. Anyone who has held that weapon needs to have something beyond their basic abilities. "The Mandalorian" has shown this where Din Djarin is one of the best skilled fighters in the Star Wars universe yet has a lot of problems with trying to use the Dark Saber. Sabine has at least shown she has an aptitude for things beyond her skillset. It's not unreasonable to suggest she might have some force abilities.

    Baylan and Shin might be filling a similar role as C’baoth and either Lu’uke or Mara Jade, though Mara Jade wasn’t an antagonist in the original Heir to the Empire trilogy.
    Everyone can learn how to use the Force to a low level basic extent. But, they aren’t considered to be Force sensitive unless they have a Midi-chlorian count of over 2,000, which is extremely rare.

    Legends had orange lightsabers, mostly, for grey Jedi. It was a balanced mix of Sith red and Temple Guard yellow. These force users were meant to be better able to adapt their responses and thoughts outside of the doctrines of the two sides of the force being more independent. However they were not necessarily Dark Jedi, as has been suggested for the two characters in this show.
    Cal Kestis could use one in Jedi:Fallen Order but I think that was because players could pick the lightsaber colour they want to play with. Yaddle and Plo Koon had orange lightsabers in Legends. In canon Yaddles lightsaber was changed to green.
    The Legends explanation of force users who walk with a foot in both sides of the force has not been adopted by Disney, yet. However, this trailer indicates these 'Dark Jedi' are going to take a different route to legends. If they make screne time to explain it at all. They do not appear to be balancing the two sides of the force they just appear to be antagonists who are not Sith but still Force users.
    Interested to see how this turns out.
    Great reaction guys, thanks for all your work.

    I was wondering where Ahsoka is in the meeting with Luke in Bobo Fett maybe she was dropping off Sabine for force training? or picking her up. Luke would be the perfect teacher?After all we see Ahsoka fighting Morgan Elsbeth when she meets Din DJarin. Then Next see them both with Luke?..Whereas Morgan is seen in Ahsoka working with Baylan and Shin. So how did she get away from the republic? or does Ahsoka let her escape to see where she goes? Lets not forget Sabine is part of House Vizsla so her bloodline is Tarre Vizsla

    Sabine trained under Ezra and (I assume) Ashoka in swordsmanship, but she's not force sensitive as far as I know. It's more of a Dooku/Grevious situation; she was trained in the Jedi arts of combat, and combined with her Mando training that makes her unusually formidable.

    very unusual disney trailer as we get a lot of information about plot and character motivations. biggest thing for me: there is obviously some master/apprentice thing going on between sabine and ahsoka after the events of the rebels finale (long haired sabine), as she cut it short when ahsoka retunred to her (last rebels shot), meaing they are maybe looking for ezra between rebels finale and rotj. so all the shots with sabine having long hair would happen in those years, thats very interesting. not sure if they hinting at sabine being force sensitive (which would be a bit out of the blue as there were never any indications for that), but some kind of training is defenitely going in during this long hair time, so the final rebels shot is actually ahsoka coming back ot her not visiting her for the first time. never thought about that.

    In agreement with a few posters here. Don't read too much into Sabine calling Ahsoka "Master". When Sabine gets frustrated or mildly upset she can get quite sarcastic. I tend to think Sabine using "Master" is just that, a sarcastic comment. Take a look at the way Ahsoka looks at Sabine after she calls Ahsoka "Master". It's not a look of approval. It is one of annoyance.
    One last comment on Sabine living in Ezra's old tower hideout and her uncut hair. I don't think these are positive signs. In fact I believe they are warning signs that Sabine is not and has not been in a good place, maybe even somewhat depressed. She is isolating herself in Ezra 's hideout. That tower is well outside the city. Also, Sabine could dye her hair all sorts of garrish colors but still carry it off with surprising style. That seems completely absent with her uncut hair. Something about Sabine is off.

    The force flows through evrry living thing , so just because u cant intentionnaly control the force doesnt mean u cant adopt a philosophy or religion in accordance with your beleifs about the force , like its always been my headcanon people like han (incredibly lucky and quick handed and unnaturally accurate, also the whole him using the bowcaster debacle unless chewie had it modified ) are either untrained force sensitives or maybe force sensitive doesnt mean anythiing as a word , cause hutts have super low midichlorian counts but in return they get the mind control immunity and can still be jedi or sith , according to eu stuff at least , but i dont see why it wouldnt be canon

    I will give it a go, but I dont think it will be good. It is a water down version and character swap from Heir to the empire.

    Just looks like more awful, self-referencing Disney era Star Wars crap. Other than Rogue One and Andor, they've done almost nothing right.
    At least the Wonka trailer dropped today so there's something good to look forward to.

      I assume you are talking live action because they are also responsible for. Rebels. Season 7 clone wars. And tales of the Jedi. All Disney era.

      @@maximillianmetscher7020 And all are terrible. The first two seasons of Mando was decent.

    • @joegreene7619
      @joegreene7619 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @kristofmolnar7106 They made terrible shows with Kenobi and Boba Fett and somehow ruined the Mando formula in the process. There's exactly 0 reason to think any of this is going to be good. They're so focused on deep cuts and fan service that they've stopped telling coherent, engaging stories.

    • @joegreene7619
      @joegreene7619 ปีที่แล้ว

      @kristofmolnar7106 I watched Andor because Rogue One was so good and nothing in it required knowing every character from 500 episodes of cartoons and there aren't force users and plush toys running around in every scene.

    • @joegreene7619
      @joegreene7619 ปีที่แล้ว

      @kristofmolnar7106 Andor is slow, but it earns every emotional moment and there are some surprise appearances as far as actors that legitimately made me gasp. It's done in arcs. 1-3 is an arc. 4-6 is an arc. 7 is a bridge episode. 8-10 is an arc. 11-12 is a two part finale.
