- We’ve been busy working on the Mustang, Billy’s S-10, and Allison’s Dart! My brother is sick to death of the Mustang tho, and he’s ready to throw in the towel!

I’ve been a carburetor guy my whole life, recently switched to Holley fuel injection and I REALLY enjoy it, all your tuning knowledge swaps right over once you learn to speak laptop a little

You have never responded to one of my comments but after seeing you load the mustang I thought I would make the same suggestion I had made to you once before. This is not shot in dark. It is from experience owning one of those old Chevy trucks. It was a 68. We towed race car with it and tongue weight was issue but very cheap easy fix. Drop out 1/2ton coil spring put 3/4 ton coil spring. Better towing, better 60ft time, better ride.

They need to make an electronic fuel injection with a carburetor mounted on the top so that way when you stranded you just take the hat off the carburetor switch the solenoid to cut the fuel off from the injection to the carburetor add breather to the carb and it'll get'ya home💪🏻💪🏻

We towed fast car with the 68 Chevy then unhooked the trailer and also raced the truck in a different class. With the 3/4 ton coil springs on rear only, it left harder and 60ft better but most importantly it pulled like a dream. Just a thought.
The foxbodys are notorious for overheating if the timing is off. I’ve seen them overheat several times if the timing is too low or really high. It’ll do it every time. Hope to see you get it lined out soon and be able to enjoy it for a while

Jeremy is so funny 🤣. He keeps the old Chevy vs. Ford argument alive and well. I know for an old school guy that EFI and computer programming sucks, but, this car has potential when it's dialed in. The Mustang 🐎 sounds good and is aggressive when launching, a plus!!! Thanks for the video.
I love the mustang! I hate almost all fords but I love old mustangs. They can be fast as hell. It's so cool how your family works together. Good old fords Fix or repair daily. Hope it ain't hurt.
Cranking pulse (as the starter spins), priming pulse (key on), after start enrichment. Things to dial in for great start ups.

Although it appears many of you don't have a "9-5", it is obvious you are flat out keeping up with the projects, filming, editing, merch and everything else this channel; let alone your personal life. I realize you have got a lot of support from your wife and family but still, I reckon it is quite consuming. I appreciate all of your teams efforts to have this truly real entertainment and shared experience available. I admire your discipline to carve out time to go out with the wife what appears to be weekly. As a self employed person I know it's difficult to stop and smell the roses when there is an abundance of things to do.

Pumping the gas on efi won’t do anything. When it’s hard to start, cycle the key a few times to prime the cylinders with more fuel. Helps when it’s cold. Typically means the priming pulse and cranking pulse width at colder temps need adjusted. You got this buddy, it’s a steep learning curve but well worth it!!!

Great vid as always, Bill. Didn't see anyone else mention it, but my advice would be to upgrade to a 3g alternator on the Mustang. Can either buy a new kit from LMR, or can get a used one from a newer v6 Mustang at the junkyard (along with the plug), and with a thicker gauge charge wire and an external fuse, you could do the project for about $50. Also doubt it has a stock radiator still, but if it does, it could be time to upgrade to a bigger radiator.

I had among my six different mustangs a 91' LX 5.0. The GT looks great on the new wheels and tires. When Jax Wax gets done detailing it's going to look like a new car.

The new wheel setup on the Mustang looks awesome...I'm sure with alittle more time it will run as good as it looks...as always , God Bless..!!!
U need to add some fuel to the start up fuel table. When it's colder it needs more fuel. Also 32 deg of timing at idle is why it over heats. Take it to on3 and let them tune it. Billy's good tuning after it has a good base tune.

Good video but honestly when you and Billy are rolling downtown the looks on your faces was so genuine, looks like you guys are getting along really well my son and I have been through the same thing seems like now that he's on his own we get along better LOL
What about putting a built AOD in the car? It would help cruising. Also, since it's an automatic now, just bypas the starter interlock switch on the clutch pedal. or move it to the shifter for the auto.

Yeah, mine just quit in front of the school dropping the kiddo off. Had to get the chip to push me off. Stupid msd coil I put on it failed. Hopefully the old 2001 6al2 box will hang in there, I believe it was made in a better time of quality control. Things these days are just junk. Came that afternoon and swapped my stock one on and it fired right up. The new wheels look awesome!

My stang had issues the same as your experiencing. It was from fan and shroud. They like air more than any other car I've owned. Except my other mustang. One I had to put flex fan on to get more air ro rad. And the other, I had ground the switch to electric fan. Because the switch wasn't kicking the fans on. The thermostat switch would never work even after replacing on 2 different occasions. I was told you could run wire to bolt on fender. That's only way the fans would run. I ended up running wire through toggle switch so fans didn't continuously run with key in on position . Those were my only issues I ever had with my stable of wild stangs. I've owned several from my 1st, a 69 mach 1 to my last an 04 cobra. Best of Luck. If you ever want to part with. There's probably 25 or more people including me that would gladly take off your Hands. I have an 83 GT in my garage of my neighbors. That I can buy. But it's in pieces out there. The motor is a 347 Stroker with BW T-10 original from 83. The Only plus to it. Is the original black paint with black interior. And Recaro racing buckets, that have the checked flag pattern of the 80s premium mustangs.

Check the fuel pump cut off switch on th passenger side under kick panel or the carpet at the top in the foot compartment.
That is one hell of a battery lol.😁
