should have done the rear structure gasket it will leak soon, dont forget the washer for the pilot bearing, install the clutch with the adjuster in the down position so when the engine shuts off its ready to adjust.
My brother works for a major dealer in KCMO and is specialized in transmissions he told me he can pull a transmission out in 4 hours depending on what's wrong with the transmission depends on how long it takes him to fix it but he can put it back in in 4 hours as well I'm just another truck 🚛 driver Ryan you know more than I do brother I've never knew how they changed a rear main seal that was pretty cool 🤙 man please don't get me wrong brother I'm not trying to criticize you at all brother that's not my intention I just enjoy watching your videos and I'm a DIY kinda guy I enjoy working on my own stuff but I don't think I would be happy doing it for a living I enjoy trucking 🚛 plus I'm not certified in anything I like your rear main seal puller 👍 that works great but I was wondering 🤔 why use the soap and water solution on the rear main seal and not just rub some oil on it when I change my own oil in my car I'll put a little bit of oil on the seal on my oil filter seems like it would do the same thing 😉✌️♥️💪✝️🚛🚛🚛🚛🚛🗽🦅🇺🇸

It's not a heavy duty truck, but I have the same problem on my 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan. The tranny will have to be removed & put back I get it, but would you have any idea how much labour would be involved in something like this?
I estimated 10-12 hours for a heavy semi truck for the rear main seal, I would advice to get clutch changed as well since you already remove the transmission. For your truck, it could be less hours.

If you know what your doing and have experience with this you don't need a special tool have done many for years without a special tools for sure.

How does that not get shavings in the crankcase?
Inter portion of the seal is plastic, so the metal shaving fall down within seal.
This tool is good when you're hourly. Now flat rate is a completely different story lol
